Hilton Garden Inn Houston/Sugar Land - Sugar Land

I stay at the HGI Sugar Land about 2 weeks per year, and I am always satisfied. The staff is very helpful (they kindly re-assign me a room at my preference when I arrive, I like to have ~ the same room all the time). The cleaning personnel is doing a very good job (I always try to leave a room in decent condition every morning). No problem on the last […] day to ask for a late checkout (1pm). This time I didn't use the gym (nor the relatively small pool), but I used the business center, well organized. You can install a printer driver and print documents from your room (or probably from anywhere) and print/retrieve the documents in the BC with a digit code. This is cool (and free to use). it helped me. If you plan to use the scanner, you must bring a memory card (no USB key). Mehr

The location was near a creek or some water way and it smells a bit foul on a windy day. It not near any major freeway or road so it was nice and quiet. Front desk receptions was friendly and helpful. The bed was comfortable and sheets look clean. The A/C was in good working condition. The showers were clean. The TV was supposedly HD but most if […] not all channels were fuzzy and blurry like a regular tube television. Everything works except the toilet. It was slowwww to drain and takes minutes. The front desk calle for a service person but when he came in fix it, all he did was used the plugger but the problem still persists. So take cautions when using the toilet. Mehr

Stayed at this hotel in order to participate in a triathlon just a mile down the road. Was in a perfect location, price was right, and the rooms and hotel were in great shape and cleanliness. There were restaurants and grocery stores within walking distance, and since the room had a fridge and microwave, I was able to get some groceries and make myself […] dinner and breakfast. Will stay here again if I do the triathlon again as I was able to just ride over to the start. Mehr

This by far one of the best hotels in Texas. Great amenities. The breakfast is top of the line. This what you call Southern Hospitality.

very convenient location; very friendly staff; great place to stay with kids; close to a supermarket, fast food, Walmart, etc.

The location o fthe hotel and the convenience to everything is just perfect. Malls, plaza, movie theatres, etc. It takes only 30-35 mins to go to Hooby Airport and it takes maybe 45-55 mins to go to IAH during non-rush hours.

Easy check-in, check-out. Convenient location. Clean and welcoming. Used the fridge, microwave, coffeemaker and free wi-fi.

We stayed at the Hilton Garden Inn while visiting relatives in Sugar Land. We found the hotel to be a wonderful place to relax after a day of visiting and sight seeing. We really enjoyed the convenience of the breakfast buffet. All in all a great place to stay!

The front desk was very helpful : I have some personal preference for my room (high floor, end of corridor, facing backwards) and they gracefully complied. The outdoor pool is quite small, didn't use it either. I used the Data Center to print my boarding pass and it was free and fast, with a friendly welcome from the assistant. I had the impression that the staff was probably making extra efforts as compared to previous stays, to ensure the customers satisfaction, but I never really had to complain in the past. Fantastic room and great service..The breaksfast buffet could be improved.

I requested a specific type of room and when I got to my room I then realized it was not the correct specification. So I called the clerck and she immediately changed out my room (thank goodness they had one available with that specification) and she even met me at the elevator doors with a new set of keys to my new room. I visit the Sugarland area at least once a year. I normally stay at another hotel in the area, however I waited to long to make a reservation and the hotel was booked. So I decided to stay at the Hilton in Sugarland. What an unexpected surprise. I was pleasantly pleased. Not only was the hotel very very nice and virtually new, the staff, restaurant […] and the rooms were as well. The hotel is about 2-3 miles from the City Center on the same street) were there are an abundance of fine restaurants and EXCELLENT shopping in the First Colony Mall and Towne Center. Sugar Land is well to do area, so everything that you need was nearby. The Hilton Hotel Sugar Land, is now my new favorite hotel when I come to Sugar Land. Oh, by the way, the parking was FREE ! Very clean spacious rooms, polite, friendly staff. good location close to Town Square. Would stay there again.

Prefer Hilton Garden Inn over Marriot Residence Inn. Furnishings are always nicer, food is always better, and staff is always first rate.

This was a wonderful stay for the price. A beautiful hotel with friendly staff and very nice room. The restaurant was also very good and a wide selection.

I come here twice a year, and I like the comfort of this new hotel. Quiet, not far from a shopping center, and far enough from the freeways. Friendly & helpful staff this time, they solved kindly my previous issue regarding 2 x breakfasts that were charged when they should not. The room tending was perfect, even had a towel that was folded into a cute […] pet ! The washing machines & dryer are efficient... Apart from a bigger pool maybe, I don't see any negative. I wish I could find this quality of hotel here at the same price (currently in San Jose, Ca). Mehr

Newer hotel, staff was super friendly, everything was clean and nice. Stayed with a large group for a wedding, and we were well accommodated. Can purchase a very nice breakfast in their restaurant. Beds were comfortable and bathroom was roomy, but the automatic closure of the bathroom door got a bit annoying. The only downside for us was the location […] -- it's very close to restaurants and shopping, but only if you have a car. We did not, and we arrived from the airport midday looking for lunch. The hotel restaurant is not open for lunch, and there is nothing in walking distance unless you're interested in walking on/across a large, busy highway. There is a hotel shuttle, but it is limited to short distances and cannot wait for passengers while they, say, run in for some carryout food. Would be very happy to stay here again so long as we had a car. Mehr

The hotel was very clean and comfortable. The check-in was very easy and the clerk was very helpful and courteous. The only drawback was the restaurant was crowded and not staffed sufficiently, chaotic. We definitely would stay there again though.

Everything in the hotel was very new and clean. The front desk person was very polite and courteous. My reason for staying was to be close to a testing location for a very important test the next day. The original room I was assigned was next to a couple with several kids who were running down the hallway and making noise. When I called the front desk […] Kim was very understanding and immediately took care of the situation and assigned me to a different room. The fact that she was able to move me to a different room made my stay that much more pleasurable. The fitness center is new with elliptical machines and tread mills that have individual TVs and head phones were also available. The whirlpool and pool were also very nice. Customer service stinks. Most unfriendly I've dealt with. Hotel itself very nice.

Everything was very nice. The staff was cordial. Room nice and comfortable. We requested an additional room for the 2 following nights for others in our party and the clerk was able to give us the room next door. Very helpful. The hotel was a good recommendation from our daughter in law.

It was a wonderful hotel. The only drawback was that it did not have a complimentary breakfast. The breakfast was an extra charge. Otherwise, the staff was very friendly and helpful.
