View of sunrise from bedrooms. Its good quality service apt. Our tom tom did not recognise postcode and staff provided directions. One negative is that checkout was at 10am. I would have thought that too early. 11am would have been better. Complementary binacolur rental was a nice touch. Parking was a struggle as everywhere around the block was full. […] But managed in the end. Was expecting reserved parking complimentary at the location as per advt. Mehr

Wow! I am usually subject to travelodge or ibis type budget hotels but thought I'd stretch the budget a bit more, but for us it was a very reasonable price & not that much more than the budget hotels! The actuall reception is a little bit difficult to find once your at the appartment tower being hidden around the back but the staff were very friendly […] and helpfull! Once we opened the door to the room the pair of us were hugely impressed, the rooms are spacious and homely and definately have a luxurious feel to it. We got a view & a half too looking out over the forth from our lounge! The location is fine because the Bus (Number 10 service) runs every 10 minutes and takes just 15 mintues to get into central edinburgh. It also runs all the way until midnight! There is a 24 hour asda 10 minute walk (2 minute drive) away so even though it's self catered you'll be fine. The cooking equipment was great as well, even had a dishwasher!! Me & My partner both wish we could have a home like this place! Great! I would reccomend this to anyone & everyone. The only slight drawback is the slightly draconian rules they have - £200 deposit for damages on arrival, no guests after 11pm etc, so if your planning on having a bit of a party maybe look somewhere else! Have just spent three nights at these Waterfront apartments and loved it our stay! Apartment spotlessly clean, spacious, modern and well equipped. Only problem we had was finding the apartments as postcode on satnav was no good. The block is one of many blocks in the area and a bit like a maze, so written directions on the website would definitely help. […] Look forward to a return visit. Mehr

I've stayed at the hotel a few times, they are always very clean and welcoming. In the lighter nights I'm sure they will have fabulous views and depending on which apartment you may have a view of the Royal Yacht. The underground carparking in the winter is a real bonus, as I only stay in the week and it's always very quiet. Some of the apartments […] look to have been used more than others, as there are bits of equipments missing and the curtains have been changed - same partern but a 2 different curtain lengths!?!?!? Only negatives are they are a bit off the beaten track, the hob is electic but not halogen. a good location for us near the city but next to the sea, with free parking, but the pleasantly large apartment with good kitchen and two bedrooms was opverall very sterile and lacked any creature comforts. Disturbingly we were required to PAY AN EXTRA £200 as a BOND (!?) against possible damage without any surety that it would be refunded, so that […] only left us with feelings of anxiety and risk, instead of memories of a quick pleasant quiet stay. Overall this place is brilliant and spotlessly clean. However one disappointment is the lack of mattress protectors, especially when the mattress below is stained. Puts me right off. Maybe its a one off?

Excellent value. Much better than staying in a B&B with just a telly for company. Having a proper sitting area, kitchen, and en-suite bedroom is great. Having stayed in adjacent units for more money, I can say there is no difference in quality so don't be put off by the lower price. The bathroom & kitchens have always been immaculately clean. Parking […] is free unlike in the city where you can pay approx £4 an hour / £25 a day. The bus outside to the city is only £1.30 and runs until 11:00pm. Downside: Pillows are a little hit and miss for comfort. Other than that I will continue to recommend to my colleagues. I have been staying on business and will always move around hotels until I find best value, quality & comfort. This place is ideal if you want your own space without the usual noise of banging hotel doors. I would also consider using this as a base if visiting the city on a break if you'd rather spend your money on yourself rather than the very expensive city hotels. Enjoy! Mehr

The apartments are clean, warm, well-equipped , overlook the Firth of Forth and are at the terminus of a regular inexpensive bus service in to Edinburgh. We garaged our car safely and this proved a good way to access the lifts. The only downside is that the free wi-fi does not work well at nights in the apartment blocks.

We have a wonderful stay here! There are great views! The apartments are very nice. Getting to and from is very easy via bus or taxi. I would definitely stay her again!!

Loved the apartment ...Bed i wanted to take it home! Did not want too leave -:( The views over the Clyde and in the distance the boats in the dock ... So peaceful here .. Bus service on your door step...close to the pub and 24hour Asda store Will certainly go back -:)

Bad check-in experience! We arrived between 8-9pm but the reception area was already closed. A sign said to call a number but that was only a recording. Another number was there but we were told to just try the first number again. We were out in the street making these long distance calls & it was a while before someone came to open the door, claiming […] that terms & condition mention 8am-8pm check-in. But no such detail is mentioned, either in the hotels.com website or the booking confirmation or the hotel website. The staff was not at all apologetic for the inconvenient check-in! Even blamed us for not reading terms & conditions! Bedrooms were okay, unit was spacious, full kitchen was nice-to-have. Very far from city center but public transpo was available (but still some walk between building & bus stop). Mehr

We stayed only for 1 night - and after having stayed in hostels for 6 nights this was luxury !! - and just as cheap for our family of 4

We were delighted with this spacious, well appointed luxury apartment. We wished we could have spent more time there but our plans would not allow that. Very reasonable rate for such a fantastic apartment.

Great place to stay. £10 cab to and from central Edinburgh is well worth it, though there is also a bus which runs nearby. If you're arriving after 8pm you should call ahead and let them know so arrangements can be made, but it's not a problem. You are expected to do some cleaning before checkout, but the place is worth the minor inconvenience; it's […] just a bit of tidying. Rooms are large and beautiful. 24hr ASDA a short walk away is very convenient. Worth every penny. Mehr

Situated on the waterfront with plenty of parking & a supermarket close by. I would definately recommend these apartments. Convenient & clean. Ideal if ur contracting in the city!

One day this may be a nice part of Edinburgh to stay, but for now it is too far out of town. A taxi into the centre will cost about £ 10. On the other hand if that doesn't bother you, the rooms were clean, spacious and very comfortable.

The Hot-el-apartment in Edinburgh was great for a brief stay with our infant daugther. She had plenty of room to spread out and run around. We were very impressed with the accomodation initially. Everything looked very contemporary and quite high-end for the price. Upon closer inspection, though, it became apparent that the apartment had been furnished […] almost exclusively from Ikea- everything from the mattresses to the knives- meaning that it looked good but was not of the best quality. Having said this, it was very clean, comfortable enough, and really perfect for what we wanted- a place where we had the option to cook some of our own meals and give our daughter room to stretch her legs. The #10 bus is available across the street, making access to Edinburgh-proper very easy without having to worry about parking. ASDA is just down the street and open 24-hours- a great option for food if you're inclined to cook, which may not be a bad idea as the choice of local restaurants is fairly limited. Overall, the Hot-el-apartment was perfect for what we needed, but if you're looking to experience Edinburgh to the fullest, there may be better options in either the Old or New Town areas. Mehr

Me and my partner stayed here for 2 nights and were very satisfied with our stay. The apartment was in good condition and we both had a very good nights sleep. A 5 minute walk away there is a bus stop which has a bus to Princes Street every 10 minutes during the day which was very convinient, along with a 24 hour Asda a 5 minute drive away, as well […] as a Prezzo and Loch Fyne a 10 minute walk away on the small harbour there, so there are many amenities and facilities. The area is nice but not fully complete, so will look very good once the building continues. Would recommend to other people. Mehr

If you plan to arrive after 8pm local time don't forget to call ahead. Leith is a bit away from city centre but a beautiful view, quiet area, and where the work is being done the view is not obsructed at all. We were pleasantly suprised with the accomodations. It was spacious, clean, and fully stay ready. I would highly recommend this hotel. The apartment was clean as were the bedding, towels etc. The security should have been good but the underground car-park entrance gate was permanently open and the exit gate damaged half-shut. There is a good bus service into Edinburgh but nothing is close to the apartment block so we had to use the car to do local shopping or to eat out. Overall experience […] was quite good. Mehr

Really comfortable apartments. Very spacious and extremely well-equipped. Reception staff were very helpful and friendly. It was quite a long walk into the city centre, but buses are frequent, and the location was great for the shopping mall and there were good restaurants nearby.

The hotel was a perfect find. The room had an amazing view out over the mouth of the river. Everything was clean and to a high standard. It's a bit outside the main city centre but there's a bus into town from right outside the door and the area of Leith is quite nice to visit as well. Personally I found the hotel to be much cheaper than comparible […] hotels in the heart of the city. I would definitely stay again and actually have aleady re-booked. Mehr

The experience was a good one and i found the reception staff very friendly and helpfull. The apartment was a pleasent place to stay and very peaceful so just what i was after. i sat in the lounge area with a red wine and watched a dredger clearing the mouth of the harbor for most of my second night. the only faults i could find is that the parking […] on one side of the development is undeveloped so not nice to look at and the underground car park did not appear to be in use so parking was slightly limited. we enjoyed the visit, the apartment was very good and handy for the centre of Edinburgh with the bus near by.

The apartment I was given was spacious and had a view out towards the sea. This location is quite far from the centre of the city but a new bus route (number 10) stops very near. This whole area is very soulless without much life to it but I knew this in advance and wanted a quieter location. All would have been fine apart from the construction site […] next door which started making noise quite early and lasting through the day. Mehr

Even though this apartment was quite a distance from Edinburgh city centre & the restaurants of Leith there was a bus stop right outside of the building going via Leith and straight to Princess St in the city. The view from our 5th floor room was right down the river - absolutley amazing. Would recommend it for families as at least we could settle […] our daughter in her own bedroom and still sit in the living room and relax which is usually impossible when you stay in a family room at a hotel. self catering apartments in new leith harbour area, residential location. well maintained and furnished flats. some building activity around the block but not too nosiy. would be ideal if you have hire car as public transport only by bus. nearby asda and shopping mall at ocean terminal. tea and coffe making facilities provided. do take your own dishwasher […] tablets(2 provided) towels and linen changed weekly.secure underground parking Mehr

Marvellous value and thoroughly recommended. Difficult to find as the post code did not register on the sat nav. However once there it was worth the search. Registration is in the cafe at the end of the street where the staff were helpful and polite. Small inconveniences included not being able to find the master switch for the oven and only one small […] saucepan for cooking for four, neither stopped us from enjoying the stay. Mehr

Foerst og fremest skete der meget ubehagelig ting om skranken.receptionist tog mit credit kort og charge gbp200 som garantee med min underskrift bedt om. Det var maerkeligt , syntes jeg. Naar jeg checket ud, receptionist sagde at det tog 4-5 arbejdsdage til indbetaling til dit kort.Naar jeg booked hos hotels.com , allerede betalt . GBP200 er virkelig […] ret mange penge . Mal localizado. Sujo. Recepção nao funciona 24 horas. Difícil de encontrar (mesmo com gps)... Anuncia que tem garagem (e realmente tem um subsolo para isso), mas os hospedes tem que estacionar na rua e, se chegam tarde, acabam estacionando bem afastado do hotel. Nao recomendo. Péssima experiência.

Moderne og flott leilighet med bra utsikt. Bra bussforbindelse inn til sentrum, og et pluss at der ligger en stor butikk 5 mintter unna. Internett virket ikke i perioden vi var der, og sengen var for hard for vår smak. Men leiligheten kan absolutt anbefales!!

Hot-el-apartments ligger nära hamnen i Edinburgh, vilket ger det en viss charm. Det finns också en del bra restauranger i närheten, en stor mataffär som är öppen dygnet runt, samt bussar som går in till centrum flera gånger i timmen. Själva lägenheten var stor, två rejäla sovrum, ett vardagsrum med kök och två badrum. Bra med ytor, men ganska intetsägande […] inredning. Man fick en känsla av att det skulle vara lätt att "spola av" allting när det blev smutsigt. Ändå var det inte helt rent när vi kom, vilket drar ner betyget ordentligt. Vad gäller läget kan det passa de som stannar i Edinburgh en längre tid och vill göra utflykter till olika delar av stan. Det är avskilt och ger en känsla av lugn, med vattnet precis utanför fönstret. För oss, som bara var på genomresa, låg hotellet för långt från centrum. Vi tog taxi till och från Princes Street, eftersom det hade tagit för lång tid med bussen, och betalade därmed också mycket mer. In- och utcheckning funkade bra, det var lugnt och tyst på natten, och det fanns både internet och bra TV-utbud i lägenheten. Lite mysigare inredning och bättre städning hade gett ett högre betyg! no me gusto mucho el hecho que fuera completamente self-service ya que de viaje, lo ultimo que uno quiere hacer es llegar a arreglar la habitación. Ya si la intención es querer hacerlo todo, si me parece una buena opción ya que las comodidades del apartamento, son buenas. Eso si, la ubicación del hotel es algo alejada de la ciudad así que es un factor […] a tener en cuenta aparte de eso, todo ok Mehr

Bra nybygtt hotel med fin standard. Lite lång från centrum. Buss 10 hade ändstation vid hotellet bra. Enda negativa var att de BLÅSTE väldigt mycke.

Zeer mooi en ruim appartement. Compleet met keuken en kamer. slaapkamer en extra logeerkamer met wc + douche. En mooi uitzicht op zee. Verder is er een bushalte richting het centrum voor de deur, en in 5 minuten lopen een zeer grote 24/7 winkel.

Rent och snyggt, fin utsikt. Enda negativa var bemötandet i receptionen 1:a och andra dagen.

Stor og flott leilhet med god plass og egne baderom, men kvaliteten på elektrisk og røropplegg kunne vært bedre.

Veldig behagelig å sove i et fredelig rom etter travle bydager. Komfortable senger, alt i orden på rommet. Lite aktuelt for barn å være ute alene, og det kunne vært praktisk med mer enn ett sett nøkler. Men det er bagateller. Fine spisesteder i gangavstand. Buss til byen går ofte, med holdeplass like i nærheten. Både buss og drosje er billig.
