Wir waren vom Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis sehr angetan. Das Hotel ist über die Metro-Station "Monumental" schnell zu erreichen. Das Zimmer war sauber und geräumig, für "kostengünstige" Aufenthalte in Barcelona zu empfehlen

Das Acta Antibes ist ausgezeichnet gelegen. Eine Metro-Station ist in "um die Ecke". Viele Sehenswürdigkeiten sind auch zu Fuß gut zu erreichen. Wir hatten ein Zimmer zum "Innenhof". Dadurch war es sehr ruhig. Die Mitarbeiter an der Rezeption waren sehr zuvorkommend und freundlich.

Das Hotel liegt für Barcelona Touristen nahe an einer Metro-Station, von welcher man schnell (tagsüber 3 Minutentakt) zu allen Punkten in Barcelona kommt. Auch die Sagrada-Familia ist zu Fuss in 10 Minuten und der Place Catalunya in 15 Minuten zu erreichen. Da dieses Hotel keine Bar oder Restaurant besitzt, sollte man es nur als Übernachtungshotel benutzen. […] In der Nähe sind viele Restaurants und empfehlen kann ich das Restaurant "La Gran Pena" direkt bei der Metro-Station. Gute Tappas und vor allem sehr günstige Preise für Essen und Getränke. Über das Frühstück im Hotel kann ich nichts sagen, da wir dieses nicht genutzt haben. Es gibt überall Cafés oder Bäcker. Mein Zimmer war ein geräumiges Doppelzimmer zum Hinterhof. Dadurch etwas dunkel aber sehr ruhig. Mein Kollege hatte ein Familienzimmer mit 2 abgeschlossenen Zimmern. Super! Unbedingt danach fragen im 5. OG. Gleicher Preis. Etwas lauter, da zur Strasse. Besitzt aber Doppelfenster und Nachts ist in diesem Viertel nicht viel Verkehr. Sollte ich nochmals nach Barcelona reisen, werde ich dieses Hotel wieder buchen. Mehr

Wir waren sehr zufrieden. Nur das Frühstück war uns zu einfach- preislich unter Zehn Euro/Person sind aber ok. Das Zimmer war überraschend sauber, freundlich gestaltet mit Föhn und täglich neuen Handtüchern und Bettwäsche. Wir haben nichts zu bemängeln und können das HOtel guten GEwissens empfehlen.

Hotel liegt mitten im Herzen von Barcelona (ca. 500m von der Sagrada Familia) im einheimischen Teil, 3 Stationen mit der Metro bis in die Altstadt, Hotel und Zimmer sauber und ordentlich, Zimmer etwas klein, aber für Städteurlaub ok, da wir nur zum Schlafen im Hotel waren. Das Hotel ist spitze um die Stadt zu genießen. Die nächste metro ist 5 min zu fuß entfernt und man benötigt ca 10 min ins Zentrum. Das Hotel ist sauber. Personal sehr freundlich. In der Umgebung gibt es mehrere Supermärkte und viele kleine Restaurants und Bars.

The hotel was better than two stars would suggest. It is conveniently located to walk in 10 minutes to Sagrada Familia and 5 minutes to metro station. The reception staff were very helpful. The hotel is in a convenient location near 3 different metro stops, and 5 mins walk from the Sagrada Familia. The room was very clean, but a little on the small side. It also had no fridge and the air-con didn't work very well. However it was cheap, and you get what you pay for I guess!

This hotel is nothing to write home about but if you just want somewhere to put your head down for the night it will fit the bill. Clean, with helpful staff. Location not flash but didn't feel unsafe and wasn't noisy when we were there. Handy to sagrada familia (we walked there in about 15 minutes. I really enjoyed my stay at Acta Antibes in Barcelona!!! Members of staff were very polite and helpful. They all speak English very well so that we have not experienced any communication issues when checking in and out. Rooms were cleaned everyday.. we also got fresh towels and mini shampoos. The room is just about the right size - not too big, not […] too small. My room did not face the street so it was nice and quiet!!! Pillows were a bit flat but not uncomfortable! Breakfasts a bit expensive - 8.70 pp but you can always eat somewhere else! The most important thing - Amazing location!!!! The hotel is located 3 blocks away from Sagrada Familia!!!! We went there a few times as it is surrounded by nice pubs and restaurants!! 3 mins from the nearest subway (Monumental)! I would definately recommend travelling by bus and metro! It is the easiest way to visit the main tourist attractions such as Guell Park, La Rambla or Montjuic! Buy T-10 ticket, it costs 10 euro but at least you can save your time and you won't get lost... Moreover, the hotel offers free WiFi!! It's always good to have an access to the internet as you can find directions using GoogleMaps! The staff will give you a code and you can only use it on one device. Summing up, great hotel for a good value of money!!!! I would definetely stay there the next time I go to Barcelona!!! Mehr

Front desk staff helped us figure out tours, locations. They were very considerate letting us keep our car parked for the rest of the day although we checked out in the morning also we had breakfast (nice selection of breads, pastries, coold cuts, cheese, awesome expresso and juices) and they did not charge our kids ( 5 and 8, whom only eat half a toast […] and drunk juice) but they did it without us asking or them knowing how much my kids ate. Staff were very helpful, Eduardo was extremely helpful and friendly. Room was maintained cleaned at all times. Bathroom was clean but a little bit small. The shower rod fell but was fixed right away. Very satisfied! Multilingual front-desk personnel were always courteous and helpful. Room was basic but clean and comfortable; room cleaning service was sometimes delayed until afternoon, but that was never a problem. The room and property was, clean, comfortable, and had the expected amenities. The location is also convenient and walking distance to several nice restaurants. We really enjoyed our stay. The hotel was good value for money. It was in very good condition and exceptionally clean for a 2-star rated hotel, which was a pleasant surprise.Its location was very good, close to the Sagrada Familia and well connected by metro station. There were also several restaurants/cafes nearby as well as a grocer's, which was open […] well after most shops and supermarkets had closed. The staff were helpful every time & worked 24-hr shifts which was useful. On a separate front, I would book a hotel with a fridge the next time around as we felt it was a much missed item for us. We like to try the local produce & not having anywhere to keep it means limiting our choices or eliminating them altogether. On a whole though, Acta Antibes delivers on what it promises...simple, clean, central & relatively good value for money in a Barcelona stay. Mehr

We booked 2 triple rooms for 6 unrelated women and were pleasantly surprised when we found 4 beds in one room and 3 in the other-even in separate rooms-so these are ideal for groups or families. Air con was good and the beds were solid, so no complaints from us!!!!!

The price of the hotel is great and it is in a good location. While you are out of the room, all of the electricity goes out (your room key must be inserted into a box in the room), which means your room gets HOT every time you leave. When we would return to the room, we would sweat for 30-45 minutes until the room cooled down. The room was never comfortably […] cool either. At night we found it difficult to sleep because it was so warm. If it's not too hot outside I don't see this being a problem, but it was in the 80s while we were there. There is no ice in this hotel either. There is a store about a block away that sells ice, but since there is no fridge/freezer, it won't last long. The location was perfect for us, as it was quiet, but within walking distance to the touristy areas. Also within walking distance to metro/train stops. I found wifi not to be as reliable in our room, and breakfast, which was included in our room rate was dismal. Amazing value for money. We had 2 triple rooms. Each one had its own seperate single bedroom with door! The hotel was renovated about 3 years ago.The facilities are basic (ie no coffee making facilites if thats important to you) but in every other aspect the hotel is impossible to fault. The rooms are Immaculately clean with comfortable beds, room sizes […] are good and the bathrooms (which usually are the worst part of a 2 star) were well equipped to a very good standard with a selection of white towels as good as you would find in a 3 or 4 star. Plus they have their own car park which is chargeable but invaluable in Barcelona. They will probably put the rates up after this :-)....hope not cause we will be back! Mehr

Most of the staff were friendly and helpful. We walked or took the metro everywhere, it was very conveniently located. Free wifi was great and rooms were very clean and comfortable, though spare. Other extras were not well priced. Breakfast buffet was too expensive and they charge for laundry by piece (dry cleaning) so we walked 20 mins to a self service […] laundromat. Only other thing is that I wish there was an option to not have the room cleaned every day. We could use the same towels and everything. Acta Antibes is a very good hotel. It has a very competent 24 hr reception with a high english speaking capability, and a very good internet service. Nothing seems to be too difficult for them to sort out in a very friendly manner. It is within walking distance of most of central Barcelona's attractions.

Nice hotel, well situated and good staff. Close to Monumental metro station. Good idea, if coming in from airport, to use the train and then get on to metro for Monumental at Passag de Gracia station. Cheaper than the airport bus. Can walk from railway station to hotel in 15 minutes, cutting out Metro. Bedroom mattress rock hard and rather uncomfortable; […] kept me awake the first night. Solved the problem by getting another pillow and putting it under my backside, in bed. But this should not be necessary. If you want a quiet room, ask at Reception for one at the back. Front rooms will be subject to traffic noise. Good breakfasts but breakfast room a bit small for the number of rooms and could get both crowded and a bit messy, as the staff are not super-speedy in clearing up. Usefully, there was a computer at the end of the breakfast room, that could be used free. In spite of the couple of negative things mentioned, would use the hotel again because of the situation and the helpfulness of the staff.Comments made to assist others. Mehr

Clean, safe, good for the price and ideal for short term stay as its more like a B n B than a hotel. We would stay here again - the room was clean and big enough. The staff was friendly and helpful, and spoke English. There was a nice breakfast every morning - much better than many we've found in Spain. The location was very good in some respects - four blocks from the La Sagrada Familia, and about the same from the Monumental Bull Ring (not much use […] now since they have banned bull fights in Barcelona). Lots of nice restaurants in the neighborhood. Very safe to walk at night. There is a Metro stop two blocks away. In order to travel to the city center and the Rambla, we had to transfer to a second subway line. This required with a long walk in the subway station to make the change. Very good hotel, staff were very helpful and provided adivise on were to visit etc. They even warned us about pick-pocket and to be frank, I nearly got mugged. Lady with a 13 year daughter saw me paying for the tickets at Sagria Familia station and when I tried to get in a train cabin the 13 year old girl pushed me to diffrent carrige (undid my bum […] bag pocket) and the mothers hand went to get the money out but, my wife watched all of what was going on and elbowed the lady and both the gorl and the lady fled out of the train! Back to the hotel, breakfast was good. Bathroom was bit small and you could hear everything next door from the bathroom but, as we only stayed one night, we felt it was good value for money and would gladly go back there. The main advantage of this hotel is that it is quite close to Monumental metro station (only a couple of minutes walk away) and a supermarket just a few doors down. It is also one metro station away from La Sagrada Familia, a must-see sight in Barcelona. It is also fairly close to La Rambla and Placa Catalunya (a taxi ride from La Rambla to the hotel […] is about 5 to 7 euros) by car. Our main concerns with the hotel is that the drainage system is quite poor, where you might experience puddling in the shower or bathtub while showering. Despite its proximity to places, Calle Diputacio, where the hotel is, is fairly unknown to cab drivers so be prepared for your cab driver to face so difficulties locating the hotel. Mehr

Excellent location - close to La Sagrada Familia (6 blocks), subway and bus routes close by as well as good neighborhood eateries. This is a very good "value" hotel. English speaking front desk and very helpful with transportation options. I wish the soap was larger than a postage stamp, but other than that a good deal!

The hotel is super clean and well maintained. The reception guys speak English and are very friendly. We arrived a little earlier and they gave as a room right away. I liked the neighborhood. It is pretty close to everything - if you don't mind walking or taking the metro (the station is 3 blocks away).
