Sehr schönes Ambiente - neuer geschmackvoller Loungestil, Klimaanlage, sehr guter Service, freundliche Mitarbeiter, gutes Frühstück, gute Ausgangslage für Stadtbummel, Aerobus-Station in der Nähe, nur der Anstieg mit dem Koffer auf dem engen Gehweg in der Rua do Salitre war etwas mühsam. Andere Route mit breiterem Geweg über Rua Barata-Salgueiro ist […] daher praktischer. Insgesamt ist das Hotel sehr empfehlenswert! Das Hotel liegt recht zentral, etwas am Hang. Metro- und Busse sind in knapp 10 Gehminuten erreichbar. Der Standard entspricht nicht einem 5-Stern-Hotel, es ist aber trotzdem sehr empfehlenswert. Sehr gutes Frühstück, sehr freundliche Bedienung und optimales Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis. Würde jederzeit wieder hingehen.

We visited Lisbon for the first time. In order to know the geography of Lisbon, this hotel was a very good location. Everybody of the hotel was very kind and his service was also good. It was a great choice, staff, service, comfort of the hotel - apart from the steep hill to get out to Ave. Liberdades. Consider it a short training course to Alfama/Sintra!

The condition of the hotel was excellent & the staff was wonderful. I like to be closer to the main sights - it was about a 15 brisk walk to tourist locations. The walk was fine for fit people, but the streets get slippery if it is wet (it rained 2 of the 3 days we were there). It was a excellent hotel for the price.

Upon arrival the multilingual staff were very welcoming and informative. The service was top rate. The breakfast was plentiful and varied. We found that the location was perfectas it was quiet and close to all the main areas of interest. the business centre was also a useful option.

Everything was great, would stay there again and refer my family and friends.

The hotel is very clean and comfortable, has a good choice for breakfast.. Staff were very helpful. The hotel is located in quiet area and is close to 2 metro stations. Can easily walk to the main squares as it is all downhill.

This was the most comfortable hotel room we stayed in during our entire stay in Portugal. We greatly enjoyed the king bed, the spacious room, and the comfortable room and water temperatures. Eurostars is located a short walk away from the Avenida subway station, and is either an easy walk or subway ride from many sights. Great Hotel with excellent breakfast. The staff were also excellent. The location is good although a bit of a climb from the Av de liberdade but that is not a major challenge. Would definately go back and recommend

Can't think of a downside to this hotel. Anyone who books a 5 star hotel knows that the room cost--low for us, what with the Internet deal and the overall economic condition--is not in line with other costs in the hotel. Breakfast, room service, bar, etc, prices were more in line with a five star rating. We simply didn't use these services and avoided […] the costs. All the usual superlatives regarding service, cleanliness, convenience and comfort apply. The shower deserves special commendation. Try not to use too much water. Mehr

My wife and I stayed here for about 3 nights. We loved, service and location. Our room was spacious but maybe because we had a corner room.

We booked the hotel on our friend's recommendation, and we were certainly not disappointed. The hotel is a true five star design hotel. Clean, good looking, comfortable and quite large rooms, helpful and friendly staff. The hotel is situated on the top of a hill, which is a bit of climbing - but so is every where else in Lissbon, too. Three different […] metro stations are located near the hotel (5-10 minutes walk), and Bairro Alto with its restaurants and bars is just a 15 minute walk away. We ended up extending our stay twice from originally 4 days to a total of 7 days. Mehr

The hotel was very modern and very clean. The waiter in the hotel bar was outstanding. For location it was great jsut a short walk to the main street in Lisbon. My only issue is that Portgual hotels (not just this one) will not permit 3 people to share a room without charging for the 3rd bed, even when the exisitng twin bed is big enough for 2 and the […] 3rd person could use the 2nd twin. Good hotel, really nice entrance and good gym facilities. Friendly staff who were very helpful. one downside is location as it's at the top of a hill so getting to and from city centre is a bit of a pain. Otherwise a very good stay

This hotel was really comfortable and in a great location- within a 10 minute walk of downtown. The breakfast was amazing and included probably the best coffee I've ever had.

In a kind of fancy area of town (5th avenue-ish) it's not too convenient for shopping and eating. However, great service, comfy well-furnished rooms and just an overall high level of quality and thoughtfulness means it's a legitimate 5 star hotel for a 4 star price.

We spent 3 nights in this hotel, although it is up a steady incline it is centrally located. The staff were brilliant, helpful and friendly, always willing to do an extra bit more. There is however no restaurant as such, more bar meals, and the breakfast we thought was expensive especially as we are not big eaters. We also thought a swimming pool and […] a bar with a view would have really made this hotel truely 5 star! However we enjoyed our stay a great deal and thought it good value for money.l Mehr

the facilities, location, and service were excellent. I am pleased that we chose this hotel. I had not stayed at a Eurostar facility before. I will look for the opportunity to return to that chain.

The hotel Das Letras was an ok hotel and definately not 5 stars. The rooms were clean but at 3pm several days they had not yet been cleaned. It was a little way out of the main drag but within a 10 minute walk. Brekfast was good but ythe same identical thing every morning without fail. The hotel did not serve any other meals.

Good standard decent size rooms. Beautiful public areas. Pleasant and helpful staff. Comfortable and good sized beds, fabulous shower, quiet and calm. good aircon and windows that open. More international than portguese but good modern interior design. On the downside the towels were showing their age, and on a four night stay the bottom sheet was not […] replaced with a new one once.The toiletries provided were totally substandard and very mean - not replaced when used etc. Same with tea and coffee sachets provided but not replaced/ refilled. limited TV stations, no movies. On a personal design note I hate bathrooms that don't give privacy. No matter how much you love someone, some things are better not shared... Mehr

Hotel reception was extremely cordial and our early arrival was handled properly. Our baggage was checked, we began touring Lisbon and returned before dinner to learn that our baggage was placed in the room. Room was in excellent condition. Everything worked properly and size of room even larger than we'd expected. Complimentary breakfast was better […] than expected and more than satisfactory for our American tastes. Metro in Portugal was easy to use and only a few blocks away. Hotel is only 1.5 blocks from very high-class stores -- i.e Prada and that type. We stayed at this hotel three nights. We could not be more pleased with the hotel. It is very chic and modern. The location is away from the hustle and grit of the main squares, which we liked. It’s still convenient for site-seeing as it is just off of the Avenida de Liberdad and near the Metro. During our stay, every member of the staff was attentive […] and did an exceptional job. Their commitment to 5-star service is obvious. Our welcome was warm and genuine. Check-in and check-out were both quick and accurate. We were shown to our room (345) and given a quick tour of the features of the room. There is no view from this room. The king size is comfortable and made up in high quality linens. There is a pillow menu and extras were promptly delivered at my request. The slick bathroom has both a shower and tub. The shower is really neat with an overhead rain-shower, several wall-mounted back massage jets, and also a wand. The water temperature stayed as selected and the pressure was good. There were plenty of big, soft towels. The amenities included toothbrush/paste, shaving kit, nice shampoo, bath gel and creamy body lotion which were restocked each day. Bathrobes, slippers, iron/board, safe, ample closet and drawer space, and a mini-bar and teapot are provided. The lighting was good and convenient with bed side controls. The air-conditioning works well. The temperature hit 100-degrees F during the day but our room was nice and cool. The hotel has a small business center with two computers for guests to use with no charge. There is also free wi-fi in the room. Breakfast was not included in our rate, so we did not eat at the hotel. Instead, we bought a six-pack of pastéis de nata, the famous Portuguese custard tarts, the night before and enjoyed it with a cup of coffee made in the room. Very comfortable and spacious room, loads of space for 2 people (although I was travelling alone). Excellent bathroom and shower facilities. View from the window was the wall of another building, but I was in the back of the hotel and it is in a city, after all. Staff were very pleasant and multi-lingual (thank goodness).

The hotel is in a nice quiet street, but really just a few minutes walk from Avenida metro and quick links to the lower town. 2 or 3 very reasonable cafes just 5 minutes away. Very trendy decor in the foyer, staff were extremely helpful as regards options for getting to the Atlantic Pavilion when I arrived. Room spacious and comfy, luxury bathroom […] with separate shower, all done out in the modern sludge colours, not to my liking and no drawers in the room either. But nice enough. tea and coffee making facilities, fridge, sound system and free wireless internet were all welcome and good air conditioning. Room service could have been better in terms of room cleaning but otherwise no gripes and I recommend this hotel which I got at quite a good rate for sure and would stay there again. Mehr

Estadia perfeita, hotel impecável. Bonito, moderno, atendimento excelente. Quarto muito aconchegante e bem mobiliado. O Eurostar das Letras é um excelente hotel. Serviço impecável, bem localizado e com preço muito bom. Os empregados estão sempre disponíveis para esclarecer as dúvidas e a localização é igualmente excelente, no pé do bairro Alto e a poucos quarteirões da praça Marquês de Pombal e do Rossio.

Hotel com excelente localização, tem um atendimento de alto padrão por parte de todos os funcionários. O café da manhã é excelente.

Moderni ja toimiva hotelli keskustassa, mutta sopivan syrjässä hälystä. Mahdollistaa täydellisen kaupunkilomailun sporttiseen elämäntyyliin.

Hotel Eurostars Das Letras har høj service og et venligt personale. Alt var i orden! Hotellet ligger i et roligt kvarter tæt på centrum - så man kan få sin nattesøvn i fred! Eneste minus er den muzak de spiller i hallen og i restauranten ved morgenmaden. Vær opmærksom på at hotellets beliggenhed, da man må op ad en lidt stejl bakke nede fra centrum. […] Men det var ikke et problem! Hotel Eurostars Das Letras kan anbefales! Mehr

Trevligt och bra på alla vis. Lite enligt i helgen, men verkar ligga i Affärskvarter. Vardagen var det bra.

Etter å ha bommet et par ganger på hoteller i Lisboa, var det en fryd å sjekke inn på Hotell das Letras. Trivelige ansatte, puteavtale (velg hvilken pute du vil ha - fra gåsedun til ergonomisk), sentral beliggenhet i en stille gate, hyggelig vinkelner, gode restaurantanbefalinger og til sist men ikke minst svært komfortable rom, gjør at vi definitivt […] kommer tilbake. Excelente hotel, ótima relação custo-benefício. Internet grátis, bom café da manhã. A localização é boa, embora o fato de ficar numa região alta exija algum esforço para chegar até ele caminhando.

Un hotel del todo recomendable. Recepcionistas muy atentos y con ganas de hacer un búen trabajo. Pedimos que nos reservaron una mesa en un búen restaurante, ya que era mi cumpleaños y 20 minutos despues nos llevaron una botella de champán y fruta a nuestra habitacion!! El desayuno buffet tambien es muy bueno.

Esse hotel é novo, muito confortável, tem tudo que o hóspede precisa e mais. (Cofre, wifi grátis, fitness, TV com um canal brasileiro, banheira, etc). Sem dúvida me hospedarei novamente nele qdo retornar a Lisboa. A única crítica é que no quarto onde fiquei o sinal do wifi era fraco, mas deu pra usar mesmo assim. Ah, e para retornar da avenida da Liberdade […] para ele é necessário subir uma ladeira (coisa comum em Lisboa), por outro lado, caminhar dele até o Bairro Alto é mais tranquilo. Muito recomendado!
