die anbindung mit den öffentlichen verkehrsmitteln zur innenstadt ist super. das frühstück sehr dürftig, aber daß es 24/7 kaffe und tee umsonst gibt, haben wir oft gern genutzt. der preis schlägt alles! dashotel hat seine besten zeiten schon hinter sich. aber für den preis ist es top.

Es ist wirklich so schön, wie sie beschreiben. Die grosszügige und einladende Lobby in der ersten Etage diente u.a. dem Weinempfang aller an diesem Tag anreisenden Gäste. Allerdings scheint die Zeit auf 17 bis 18 Uhr begrenzt zu sein. Eher als Ausnahme bekam ich später noch einen Gutschein für die Bar, die nicht ganz so nett ist, wie die Lobby. Beim Frühstück im benachbarten Bistro muss man wissen, was man wählt, um nicht vom Amerikanischen Geschmack überrascht zu werden.

Zu unserer Ueberraschung war alles viel kleiner, als es in den Bildern erscheint. Der Fotograf hat einen super Job gemacht. Dennoch ist das Hotel eine sehr gute Wahl. Allerdings hatten wir eine Suite. Wir haben das Zimmer-Service-Fruehstueck nie genutzt, da es genug guenstige und gute Alternativen in der unmittelbaren Umgebung gibt.
Lage
Hilton Garden Inn Schaumburg liegt in Schaumburg in der Nähe von Woodfield Einkaufszentrum, Legoland Discovery und Wingate by Wyndham Schaumburg Convention Center. Schaumburg Medieval Times ist eine weitere in der Nähe gelegene Sehenswürdigkeit.
Ausstattung
Hilton Garden Inn Schaumburg stellt Ihnen Folgendes zur Verfügung: Fitnessstudio, Innenpool und Fitnessmöglichkeiten. Thomas at the front desk was exceedingly helpful. The hotel was clean, close to Woodfield Mall, and appeared well maintained. Fitness center well appointed. Business center a little small, but was on vacation. Aside from some unpleasant other guests, our stay was quite enjoyable.
"Best last minute reservation"

was extremely happy with being able to select the softness of the mattress as normally I don't want to sleep in a hotel because the beds are always too firm so I actually slept during this stay Thank You

The kids enjoyed the pool, the hotel was super clean and inviting. There was no continental breakfast, but that wasn't too big of a deal since I got a great deal on the room price. it was great stay...other than they could not put a crib in our room which i requested few days ago.

Upon arrival, front desk manager had a hard time finding our reservation thru hotels.com. I didn't feel that is was an overly long time and much to my surprise we were issued a voucher for breakfast which was very nice and offered anything and everything that a person would want.

Hilton Garden Inn - close proximity to where I needed to be, staff was very friendly(including Ashley, who checked us in at the front desk. Pool was great for the kids as well. Only complaint was there was a charge for breakfast and it wasnt very clear whether breakfast was included with your stay or not.
"Just what we needed"
We looked for a hotel where we would get the amenities we deserved but didn't want to pay Gold Coast prices. The Hilton Garden in fit that that criteria. Friendly staff, good breakfast and appeared clean!

We stay here about 3 times a year . The beds are super comfortable with very expensive mattresses.We looked into purchasing them from the Hilton because we slept so well .The rooms are always clean and they have high end linens and towels .Great shower heads also and always a plenty supply of hot water . This was the first time my kids used the pool […] which was great too even though it is kind of small in size . We will stay here again . Mehr

Hotel was very clean and the staff was very pleasant. If you are wanting to do some shopping then the location of this hotel can't get any better. Location is convenient! It's close to lots of restaurants too.

The hotel is in a very good area very clean and service was great. I was surprised to find a microwave and mini fridge, pretty cool. The only down side was that it had a shower instead of a tub but overall very nice comfortable room for the price. I would stay at this hotel again.

"This was the hotel my childs league chose to stay."
This has to be the worst hotel stay I have had. Originally I was excited about the group rate, not knowing that the hot water went out while my 9 year old daughter was in the middle of her shower. The thing that scared me the most was the bedbug that dropped out of my pillow as I got ready for bed. I then proceeded to lift up the mattress and search […] like crazy. Then as I am rushing in the morning to make my childs event I did not have time to get into it with management. Also I do not like the incendentals being charged to my account. Mehr

"Comfy and close to mall"
This place is perfectly nice if you're just looking to stay overnight. It's also very close to Woodfield Mall, so you have somewhere to eat and be entertained.

The Hilton Garden Inn was close to my son's house. It was such a beatiful and comfortable hotel for the price I paid. So every time my wife and I visit our son, we will hopefully stay there. The staff was very helpfull and always greeted you with a smile.
"Not bad, but probably won't be staying again"
Somewhat disappointed. The hotel looks really plush and sounds great (as it should with the Hilton name attached to it), but fails in the end. The bed is supposed to be adjustable for softness/firmness. Well, the adjustment didn't work at all. We were sinking into one side of the bed, and the other side was uncomfortably firm. I don't like fanciness, […] and a regular mattress would have sufficed. They shower doesn't have a tub, which by itself is no big deal (though I do prefer tubs). However, the swinging door to the shower leaked. This wasn't because it was improperly maintained or anything, it's designed with the flaw. There isn't anything at the bottom of the door seal to make sure the water runs back in instead of out. You'll walk out of the shower to a soaked towel each time. There also isn't a vent in the bathroom, so either leave the door open, or fog the mirror up real nice. None of these are issues you can't overcome, but I was expecting better. The GOOD: LOCATION!! Everything is within a mile or two of this place. Though walking in winter isn't an option, the drives were always short. Great restaurants, shopping, nighttime activities from bars to dance clubs. The recreation in the area is great. Also very easy to get to the highway. Hotel staff was really friendly as well. They accommodated a couple small requests without hesitation. The pool is nice and well maintained. Good size for a dozen people. Jacuzzi is well maintained as well. All in all, it wasn't bad, but I'll probably stay somewhere else next time. Mehr

"Family Vacation"
We stayed at this hotel for a weekend vacation with a toddler. The hotel was very easy to get to and a reasonable drive from downtown Chicago. Great restaurants, gas station, stores all were nearby. "Excellent for a mini romantic staycation"
We went to this hotel for a little getaway from the chaos and it was such a pleasant surprise! Neither of us had been to this hotel before and we were thrilled with the great deal! Everything was neat and clean and we were extremely comfortable. While we didn't realize that there was only a shower and no tub in the room, this was not a deal killer. […] The location was great. The Hilton Garden Inn in Shaumberg, IL was an excellent choice for us. We were in town for a wedding and needed somewhere close by to stay. The hotel was very clean and nicely decorated. It looked brand new. The rooms were typical, but on the roomy side. However, if you're going to plan on staying somewhere so the kids can swim, this isn't a good choice. […] The pool was quite small. "A Nice Place to Stay"
The Hilton Garden was a very comfortable place to stay. It was near many fine restaurants and the Woodfield Mall for shopping. The hot tub was very warm to relax in and the beds were very comfy. I would definitely stay there again.

Overall not a bad experience. However, there was a cheerleading convention in town and the hotel was a mad house. The staff could have enforced the pool rules to make it more manageable as well as tried to keep the hallways more quiet.

Shopping was not on my itinerary. It was close enough to the expressway without being too close and I was able to access all the sightseeing sites that I had planned. Most importantly the price was right!
