Alles soweit ganz gut; wir waren nur eine Nacht da, wichtiger Tip: Safe benutzen oder Wertsachen mitnehmen!!!

gutes Stadthotel in zentraler Lage und sehr gut mit PKW erreichbar. Die Zimmer hätten säuberer sein können, aber ein guter Service und ein gutes Frühstück machten dies wieder wett.

Palacio Avenida ist ein sehr komfortables Stadthotel direkt am Placa Espana. Ich hatte ein Zimmer in den Hinterhof, das sehr ruhig war. Alle Buslinien befinden sich nur 1 Gehminute entfernt. Die Zimmer waren sehr sauber und komfortabel. Das Frühstück war für den Preis sehr reichlich und gut. Das ganze Personal war sehr freundlich und hilfreich. Im Grunde […] kann ich nichts bemängeln. Angenehmes, gepflegtes Hotel. Große, geräumige Zimmer. Aber: Man darf nicht sonderlich lärmempfindlich sein, wenn man ein Zimmer zur Straße hat. Doch wer eine zentrale Lage direkt an allen Bahnhöfen mag: Super!

Das Hotel ist in einem guten Zustand. So auch unser Zimmer, welche täglich gereinigt wurde..das Zimmer war zur Strassenseite ausgerichtet und trotzdem war es sehr ruhig im Zimmer ..Preisleistungsverhältnis ist akzeptabel..Das Frühstück war auch ok, auf Wunsch wurde auch Rührei gebracht. Zur Lage brauche ich kaum was zu sagen, denn es ist super Zentral. […] Bushaltestellen vom und zum Flughafen sind direkt gegenüber, sowohl auch "Der Rote Blitz" nach Soller..Sehr freundliche Damen an der Reception..im allgemeinem ein toller Aufenthalt :) Mehr

zentrales Designhotel, moderne Zimmer, jedoch dafür, dass das Hotel erst im Januar 2009 eröffnet wurde, bereits deutliche Abnutzungserscheinungen. Badezimmer mit viel Kunststoff, bei Ausstattung mit Badewanne duschen nur eingeschränkt möglich, da Duschkopf nicht aufhängbar, außerdem kein Fön vorhanden. Kostenloser Safe im Zimmer super. Sehr schöner […] Ausblick, aber erhebliche Lärmbelästigung durch schlecht abdichtende Fenster. Zimmertemperatur trotz Klimananlage nur schwer regulierbar. Schöne Designerstücke im gesamten Hotelbereich, Hotelinneres und Flure jedoch ziemlich dunkel. Betten, Service und Frühstücksbüfett recht gut. Mehr

Das Hotel wirkt von innen ansprechender als von außen. Auf limitierter Fläche wurde ein ansehnliches Ergebnis erzielt. Die Zimmer sind nicht sehr groß, aber sonst ok. Das Bad ist sauber und übersichtlich. Durch seine Lage bedingt ist es im Hotel recht laut. Es wurde eine Eisbahn mit Disco nebenan errichtet und der Strassenverkehr tut ein übriges. Das Hotel liegt sehr zentral und ist ein sehr guter Ausgangspunkt um Palma zu Fuss zu erkunden. Durch den direkten Busbahnhof neben dem Hotel kommt man überall auf die Insel. Das Hotel ist sehr sauber und der Empfang sehr nett. Leider kann man das vom Restaurant nicht sagen. Das UR Palacio Avenida macht auf den ersten Blick einen sehr ansprechenden Eindruck: sehr modern und stylisch. Es ist sehr zentral direkt am Bahnhof in Palma gelegen. Der Service ist sehr nett und bemüht, manches Personal spricht sogar perfekt deutsch. Leider gab es aber manch unschöne Dinge, die uns dieses Hotel nicht wieder buchen lassen würden. Wir […] sind nicht pingelig, aber wenn im Bad noch unübersehbar dunkle lange Haare vom Vorgänger in der Wanne, im Waschbecken und auf dem Boden liegen, ist das mehr als unhygienisch. Das hat doch ziemlich gestört. Der gewichtigere Punkt ist allerdings, dass wir im Zimmer nachts 26 Grad Celsius hatten, und die beworbene Klimaanlage, die in jedem Zimmer eigentlich regelbar ist, angeblich nur zentral gesteuert würde. Wir haben an der Rezeption Bescheid gegeben, und es war auf Wunsch anderer Kunden, denen es zu kalt wäre, auf die momentane Wärme eingestellt.. Wir baten, die Anlage, bei uns im Zimmer dann auszustellen. Leider stieg die Temperatur aber eher weiter (sichtbar an der digitalen Klimaregelung mit Temeraturanzeige im Zimmer, die aber leider nicht funktionierte). Da das Hotel wie beschrieben, sehr zentral liegt, war es nachts unmöglich, das Fenster geöffnet zu lassen, da es sonst zu laut wäre. Wir haben 2 Nächte dort verbracht. Tagsüber war das Fenster ständig geöffnet, aber leider ging die Zimmertemperatur nur auf 25 Grad runter, obwohl es draussen max. 21 Grad waren. Angeblich konnte der Hoteltechniker auch nichts an der Regelung der Anlage ändern. Fragen uns halt, warum jedes Zimmer eine eigene Temeraturregelung hat, wenn es eh zentral geschaltet wird. Wir denken eher, dass die Klimaanlage entweder defekt war oder schon ausgeschaltet war, um Strom zu sparen, da es schon Ende Oktober war. Leider hat uns das aber die Nächte gekostet, weil man kaum schlafen konnte. Schade, die Bewertung hätte sonst viel besser ausfallen können! Mehr

Würden dieses Hotel nie mehr buchen. Mussten 3x das Zimmer wechseln . Zimmerkomfort wäre gut, wenn die wichtigsten Dinge wie Licht und Klimanlagen funktioniren würden. Hotelangestellte dagegen waren freundlich und hilfsbereit

Wow, it's soooo easy to find it out. You can go downtown by walk and go anywhere by bus almost in front of this hotel. (There is a bus/train station within 5 minutes to walk.) Friendly staff and perfect location. You can really enjoy palma and other cities in Mallorca.

This was a good hotel for us to stay at. Very close to transportation and food stores.

The hotel is in a very convenient location with easy transport links to both the airport and the rest of the island. The hotel itself was ok but I have stayed in better quality hotels in Palma which are regarded in the same category as the Palacio Avenida. Though the staff were helpful and friendly. Unfortunately as there was a conference on at the […] time of staying, residents could not use the bar within the hotel. The room, whilst being comfortable, could do with some redecoration as the trouble with an all white room it does show up scuff marks and staining on walls and surfaces. In conclusion a good hotel with regards to location but a bit disappointing on room decor and use of hotel facilities. Mehr

Though the hotel is very modern the facilities were not great. Room was not the cleanest although the bed linen and towels were very satisfactory. Dirty marks on walls and blinds were torn. Toiletries were not replaced and had to be asked for. Staff were helpful and polite.

This is a very clean modern hotel next door to the train station and within easy walking distance of the old town. Staff are very friendly. I did inform them of an apparent leak in their bathroom, which they seemed to take seriously. One small issue was the lack of a normal shower (there was a hand-held variety).

Really enjoyed staying at the UR Palacio Avenida. One great perk is the breakfast - Fabulous choices that get you filled up and going for the rest of the day. Rita, a young lady working at the front desk was also pretty impressive. She knew where everything was in the city and provided great advice on what the see and do. We could not have stayed in a better situation. The city was easily accessible and close to the railway station and on major bus routes including airport. The staff could not have been more helpful. One suggestion would to include coffee/tea facilities.

We stayed here for one day and night before taking the train to soller the next day for the remainder of the holiday. It had the feel of an old hotel, slightly updated to feel more modern. Quite eclectic decor in the lobby bar and restaurant. Rooms modern, clean and functional with nice toiletries. We arrived from our flight really early at 10am and […] thought we would see if we could leave our luggage until check in st 3, but they helpfully informed us that we could check in straightaway as the room was ready which was really sweet. When we arrived back in Palma at the end of our holiday we planned to spend the day sightseeing before catching a late 11pm flight, we couldn't find a left luggage place open beyond 7.30pm so we cheekily went back to the hotel hoping they may remember us from a few days ago and luckily they did and allowed us to store our bags here for the whole day which we really appreciated. Location is very handy, right by train station to soller, and palmas main train station, and by the airport bus drop off point. Only a 10 minute walk to the more picturesque area of the city and the old town. Would definitely stay here again for convenience but for atmosphere and sea views would book somewhere in portixol, a 5 min taxi trip away. Mehr

I've been to many hotels in Europe and did not feel that this was a four-star hotel. The room was tiny even by European standards. There were no chairs to sit in, not even a desk. There was a very small table with two chairs. You have to be in bed to watch TV. Our safebox was not working and it took two days for them to move us to another room (the […] person they sent to fix it wasn't successful and just left without leaving a note). We got a smoking room and were tld that its beause e are late arrivals (We have booked non smoking!). we complained and they finally gave us another room - the last one apparently which had a leak but that was absolutely OK and we were exausted so didnt care as long as its non smoking! the shower was broken and not sure hwo clean was verything so we […] stayed overnight, didnt have breakfast in the hotel and left.location is very good so thats def a big plus! maybe we were unlucky.. very convenient for trains buses etc. Take no1 bus from airport which drops you right outside at the placa d'espana for 2 euro. 10-15 minute walk to historic sights. Our room was very spacious and modern and breakfast was great. The bed was not the most comfortable

We stayed 5 nights and would rate our experience as satisfactory rather than good. While location and quality of rooms are good, the hotel lacks character and the staff don't help in this regard. More for business than for relaxation.

Stylish hotel in the centre of Palma, only few steps from Soller Station. Friendly and helpful staff, and - important for bikers - an extra storage room to keep a bike overnight.

The hotel was excellent! Very clean, modern & comfortable. Room was very quiet - the windows fully blocked out any traffic noise when closed. Reception staff were multi-lingual, and very helpful. Bathroom was a bit weird, but completely functional (bit space age!). Our only criticisms are: the hotel bar didn't stay open very late, and the room got quite […] stuffy at night as the air conditioning couldn't be turned down any less than 21 degrees. very small room (#1802), but it was very clean & very quiet, nice hot shower, flat screen, free wifi. right on the edge of old town, 5 min walk to plaza major, adjacent to train to soler.

Not bad deal for the price. Lots of wind whisteling all night through the window seals.

This hotel has only been built for a couple of years and has tried to be a bit too trendy for a hotel. The bathroom is an example, it would probably work in a private house where you have the time to figure it out but not in a hotel. The marks on the ceiling show where the bathroom on the floor above has flooded. Good free wifi connection, breakfast […] extra and not worth it. Comfortable base to park your case. Mehr

Smallish, mainly business type hotel; spotless; lovely staff; good rooms; very good breakfast. 5 minutes walk from bus/train station - almost next to two of Palma's top restaurants.

An ideal hotel and location for a long weekend in Mallorca's capital city. The No.1 bus from the Airport drops you off outside the hotel. Check-in was a breeze, Queen sized room was clean (although should have asked for non-smoking room), contemporarily decorated and a good size. We had an internal room, good soundproofing even though there wasn't much […] noise. Agree with comment re shower, bathrooms are clean and good spec, large bath but no shower on the wall has to be held by hand. For the ladies (and men) proper hairdryers and good toiletry selection. We didn't go for the breakfast option, and chose instead to eat in local places (also cheaper). Close to the shops, 10-15 minute walk to the harbour area, but this allows for you to do explore the backstreets and find some good bars and restaurants along the way. Even though this is by the station and there may be a few odd characters looming around, it added character. Well-lit streets so felt safe at all times. Good transport links, ideal for going to Soler or other areas. We also caught a football game. For the rate we paid (very reasonable) it was worth every penny and even if we had to pay more we would definately stay at this hotel again. Mehr

This hotel is overrated. I stayed there for one week at the beginning of July, and I was not very impressed with the hotel amenities compared to North American standards. The wireless internet connection is very slow and it's complimentary (not free). Only 24 hours of internet access valid for 5 days are given for free, and I was unable to access my […] email after the 5th day even though I still had some time left. There are many internet cafes around the area of the hotel, where you can access internet for less than €1 an hour. Cons: 1) the breakfast buffet is overpriced (€12) and it's mainly carbohydrates. You can have a nice breakfast for only €5 at the cafeteria (called seis estaciones) next to the bus station. 2) The shower head is very inconvenient and you need to hold it with one of your hands to take a shower. 3) The water gets all over the bathroom floor when taking a shower. 4) When getting off the elevator, I had to walk through a dark corridor where the lights are turned on via motion sensors but sometimes these sensors don't detect the motion. Pros: 1) The location is very convenient next to the bus stop from/to the airport (airport bus fare costs €2 each way, and it takes about 15 min to get to the hotel/airport). 2) I was given a room in the back of the building, so I didn't hear any traffic noise from Plaza d'Espana. 3) The metro/bus/train stations are right next to the hotel, and the old train to the town of Soller is also next to the hotel. 4) There are so many shopping stores around the area, including El Corte Ingles (Spain's largest department store chain). 5) Almudaina Palace and the beach are 15 min walk from the hotel. 6) There is a nice family-run restaurant located in a street behind the hotel, and the food was very delicious (particularly seafood) and not overpriced (~€12 for lunch menu). This was my 2nd stay at this Palacio Avenida and was even better than the first time. The hotel is situated in the middle of Palma on Plaza de Espania which houses Palma's main bus and train station, so ideal if you're relying on public transport to get around. (Public transport is extremely efficient and gets you to all the main towns, beaches and […] places of interest in Mallorca). The hotel itself is very modern and spotlessly clean with great, spacious bathrooms and friendly, helpful staff. Bear in mind that it's not on a beach and the surrounding area definitely has a 'downtown' feel but everything in Palma is within walking distance from the hotel and I would definitely recommend it. We arrived by bus from the airport and found that the stop was alongside the hotel. The hotel is on a busy dual carriageway at the edge of Plaça d'Espanya but the double glazing and air conditioning make it very peaceful. The hotel is well situated next to the bus and railway stations and is a very convenient walk into the centre of the city. At no […] point did we need to use transport. Plaça d'Espanya is surrounded by cafés, making breakfast very easy(breakfast was not included). Mehr

Was very happy with this hotel clean modern nice room nice ataff. Only drawback is a bit out of the tourist area so about 5 euro ride to centre

Very clean, modern and well staffed hotel right in the best place for business, shopping and sightseeing in Palma city.

Arriving at the hotel late in the evening we were greeted by a german receptionist who made us feel very welcome. He was extremely helpful giving a map of the area and advise on train times to Soller. The hotel room was clean and comfortable and offered value for money although tea/coffee making facilities would have been a nice touch. On departure […] reception offered to look after our cases whilst we went out for coffee. The hotel is only a few minutes walk from the station and is ideally located. Hyggelig personale, rent og pent rom, sentralt med gåavstand til severdigheter, buss fra flyplass (linje 1) stopper like utenfor hotellet. Ikke frokost inkludert, men masse koselige kaféer som åpner tidlig og har god frokost til en billig penge

Centralt beläget hotell med gångavstånd till det mesta. Riklig frukost. Rent och fräscht. Busslinje nr 1 till/från flygplatsen stannar 50 meter från dörren. Tåg och bussstation för resor till övriga delar av Mallorca ligger på och under Placa d'Espanya. Mycket nöjda med vår vistelse.
