Als Familie fühlten wir uns sehr gut aufgehoben. Sauber, ruhig und funktionell. Supermärkte in unmittelbarer Nähe. Viele Haustiere im Hotel, aber keinerlei Belastung.

This hotel was a last minute unforeseen stop when my flight out of Newport News was cancelled and I was forced to stay overnight taking an am flight out of Norfolk. The hotel was clean and reasonably priced and was very conveniently located less than 5 minutes from the airport. The front desk service was professional and friendly.

While the hotel is conventiently located to the businesses I had to contact, the hotel is not a place I would recommend to women traveling in groups or by themselves. You can hear EVERYTHING that goes on in rooms above and adjacent to you. The general neighborhood is a mix of old businesses and older neighborhoods - and, a lot of traffic.

The lady at the front desk was so nice, the room was very clean and it was close to the Airport but not TOO close! the other hotel staff was great!

The hotel it in great location walking distant from shopping and restaurant. :-) Front desk was great but the room have a crack sink. Everything else was great I will recommended. I coming back in my next trip it was a great prices too.

Very nice hotel. My only complaint is the bed was hard as a rock!

A very nice hotel. From my observation there is often only one front desk clerk and so you may have to wait a while to be serviced but that was not enough to be extremely bothersome. There is only one elevator and unfortunately I was working with a bum knee on this trip so I did wait quite a bit on that. The beds are a little firmer than my liking but […] again not firm enough to be a deal breaker. The breakfast selections are pretty great, definitely more than I was expecting and there was a good variety of hot and cold options. The staff is extremely helpful and friendly and the lobby is warm and inviting. The rooms are fairly spacious with more than enough storage space. Overall, I enjoyed my stay and will definitely book here again. Mehr

The room was clean, breakfast fine, location acceptable. We stayed as a family of four - four nights- and all went fine. The pool is a little small.

Loved our overnight stay..... will probably come again. One of the managers got kinda snippy on the phone ";(Viral) but the other manager was polite and professional. The walls were kinda thin but we just turned the tv up... The best of all was Ms. Deidra!!!! Great conversationalist and very sweet when we asked for help. We arrived early and asked if we could check in. The girl at desk said they had no Kings ready but had doubles so we took it. The room was nice, the jaquzzi was great, the workout room was good all machines worked. The hotel looks well maintained . The breakfast bar had what we needed to start our day. With the stresses that have crept into all of our lives these days..it was refreshing to come to such a clean, well run hotel. The night staff could not have been kinder. The pool at a wonderful 85 degrees, followed by a sit in the hot tub lead to a peaceful nights sleep. Breakfast was perfect and free. We highly recommend this one !

Good location, cheerful staff, coffee 24 hours, nice bed, excellent TV choices, hottub soothing

Hotel was clean and nicely finished. Close to the airport so there was some airplane noise. Noise from footsteps in room overhead was anoying.

Very clean and well kept hotel and room. Very friendly staff. Great location that is close to the airport. One of the staff called the room a few minutes after I arrived to make sure that everything was going well- that was a nice touch. Breakfast was above average. Would definitely stay here again.

To the point the hotel was very clean which is about all I care about. Reasonably priced and convenient enough for just passing through. Descent location considering Norfolk traffic sucks no matter what your doing or where you are. Stop reading reviews and just go w/ this hotel if your an ordinary person.

Upon arrival I noticed how clean the property is. After I parked, I saw a nefarious looking character lurking toward the rear of the property. I told the lady at the front desk while checking in, she assured me it was a workman who is part of the crew working on the property. We were invited to enjoy the fitness canter and indoor pool and the work crew […] would be gone by evening. My room was very clean, however the mattress was a little to soft for my liking. My son and I wen to their indoor pool....It was indoors, but it was NOT heated. It was cold. There hot tub was nice and warm, but the pool was way too cold. We were told it would not be fixed till after the weekend. We drove a very short drive up the road to find a bevy of restaurants, when we returned, the work crew was gone. The hotel was quiet at night, and clean, that is what we were looking for.....I would recommend this property for a no frills nights stay. Mehr

I really like this hotel, clean, great location and in the budget!The room was clean and had good service We personal did not like the feathers pillows. My daughter is allergic to it! Bed was very confortable and so was the room. I will recomend to anyone.

The check-in was smooth, all worked out well. The breakfast was convenient. The hotel staff was extremely corteous and professional. I would stay there again.

They put me in a handicap room (don't know why). I would prefer they reseve that room for someone who actually needs it!!!! I don't want to inconvience people with disabilities. The bed was comfortable, room was clean. The neighborhood was pretty rough. Around military hwy was pretty bad area. I was getting eyed as I was taking my laptop out of my  […] car. Mehr

I had stayed in only 1 other LaQuinta on my travels and it was excellent. I was very happy to find that this one was excellent, too! The room was spacious and very clean. It had a very 'new' feel to it, although I don't know how old the hotel actually is. The continental breakfast was sparse, but good. I did not use any of the other services offered, […] but being on the first floor, they were all convenient. I would recommend this hotel and I will stay there again when and if I travel back to the Norfolk area. Mehr

We spent one day at Virginia Beach and one day at a nearby beach the hotel staff told us about. They were super helpful. Breakfast was crowded, but good. All in all, our rooms were an oasis from the hot beach, it was certainly fine to drive in, and have a more affordable spacious room.

This is the second La Quinta I have stayed at, and they are really winning me over. Nice people, relaxing, comfortable environment, tasty breakfast...very nice experience overall. I had a friend getting married closer to the beach, but this was way cheaper, and I'm so glad we chose this place.

We stayed for 3 nights and found the hotel to be very clean by any standards....also the staff was very friendly. My husband went to the continental breakfast and commented that the girl remembered that he liked bananas. It made him feel good. We went to a concert and found the location of the hotel was also ideal. Not far from the beach either.

Very clean....nice place. Excellent breakfast.

i really liked the room and it was clean and had very nice towels and bed sheets, was a little more than what i expected, i really did like the bed although it did make some noise when you moved. (i'm a light sleeper) the only real down side to it is the size of the pool, i wouldn't call it a pool but a big bath tub, and the walls are extremely thin, […] had some very unpleasent neighbors from the kids running around to some loud....shall i say noise....but over all i had a good laugh at it and the room was clean, which is what i was most concerned with...overall a really good stay. Pleasantly suprised. Staff helpful and room clean! Would stay at this chain again based on our experience here.

Hotel was much better than expected topped off by dedicated and accomodating front desk personnel.

The room was clean and well maintained. Breakfast was rich and well supplied. The hotel is conveniently located with shopping malls and with the beaches close to the Cheasapeake Bay Bridge-Tunnel. We definitely recommend this hotel.

good neat place. nothing fancy. close to many locations. chose this place as we were traveling to VA Beach and N.C Good beds! has a microwave and a refrigerator which was good. the coffee was very good i must say. the continental b'fast - not that great. food was cold in case ppl like to have a hot bfast.
