Hotelteam immer etwas gelangweilt und genervt... Zimmer wurden zwar sauber gemacht, aber der Boden in den kompletten zwei Wochen nie. War immer Sand überall.

wir hatten die Villas gebucht, doch diese werden zurzeit renoviert und alles sehr laut und hellhörig. Wir haben aber nach Rückfrage ein Zimmer im Hotelgebäude bekommen, ebenfalls hellhörig aber durchaus zu empfehlen. Man bekommt Strandtücher, Frühstück gut und alles andere auch. Preis/Leistung für Miami Beach o.k.

Nettes, hilfsbereites Personal. Super gute Hotellage, 5 Minuten Fußweg zum Beach und Art Deco. Leider haben die Zimmer schon bessere Zeiten gesehen. Unser Zimmer war sehr klein, erfüllte so eben seinen Zweck für 1 Übernachtung. Parkplätze gegen Gebühr (20 - 25 $ pro Tag)

Das Hotel wird umgebaut, deshalb eher laut. Die Zimmer sind OK für den Preis. Der Service ist sehr schlecht. Die Preise an der Bar sind zu hoch und die "Wein reception" mit einem 1dl Glas pro Person ein schlechter Witz. NICHT ZU EMPFEHLEN.

Das South Beach Plaza ist unterteilt in Hotel und Villas und befindet sich nur einen Block vom Ocean Drive und der Beach. Wir haben in den Villas gewohnt, einem alten Haus im Art Deco Stil. Unser Zimmer hatte ein grosses King Bett, war ausreichend gross und sehr sauber. Das Mobiliar im alten Stil passte sehr gut zum Gebäude und versprühte einen gewissen […] Charme. Im Preis inbegriffen war auch das einfache Frühstück mit frischen Früchten. Einziger Minus Punkt war für uns der Lärm im Zimmer. The location of the hotel is convenient. The front desk service is sparse to say the least; as in the wandering concierge has to call someone to the front desk for assistance. The hotel needs renovations in the "garden" area, the rooms are EXTREMELY small, and the walls are apparently paper thin; the windows must be extremely old because you can hear […] EVERY noise from outside as if it is in the room with you. I slept with earplugs and was still constantly disturbed, and that is after being out drinking 'till way in the morning (meaning, normal noise should not have bothered me!). There is a continental breakfast, but it ends too early for me. When I'm on vacay, I shouldn't have to get up at the crack of dawn in order to participate in my "free, included" breakfast, which was, by the way, very sparse. I would stay again at this hotel. It was cute, warm and inviting. The room itself was clean and comfortable for a boutique hotel. I did not have high standards because we were not staying at a conventional hotel but this hotel met many of my expectations. The front desk host was courteous. Two areas of improvement for the room are: change the shower head (old and barely any pressure or water coming out) and second, to have more pillows on a king size bed (three standard pillows not enough). Overly noisy room, outdated furniture from 30 years+ ago, noisy window air conditioning, bad bad bad included breakfast. Terrible stay. Only positive note, only 1 bloc away from the beach, but comes with high cost.

This hotel was kept very well. Has beautiful decor and the rooms are a decent size for South Beach. The price was pretty low so I checked out the reviews. The reviews are very true to the experience you will have. I would definitely stay here again and I would consider myself to be picky and prissy.

The best that has this hotel is the location and that the rooms are very clean and have a good space, but the hotel itself has not been remodeled and needs some mantainence. Although it is a good option if you are looking for a cheap hotel with a very good location.

This place is a bit north of the majority of shops on Collins, but still within easy walking distance. This hotel is attached to the South Beach Plaza Hotel, and you have to walk through one to get to the other. Front desk staff was curt but not unfriendly. Floors are creaky. If you can't sleep through exterior noise, I'd recommend you avoid it. Better than expected. Check in was quick, staff was helpful. Elevator was kinda old and really small. But being on the second floor, it was no problem to just walk up the stairs. This is a very basic hotel There are no creature comforts. The staff is average and the ammenities fair. But, you cannot beat the location in the heart of South Beach. It is within steps of Ocean Dr. and Lincoln Rd. The convenience of the location helps to offset the genericness of the hotel itself.

We chose this hotel for the location and we were very happy with the close proximity of everything. Pros : location and nice shower Cons : continental breakfast only goes from 8-8:30 and the choices are not good (coffee with only whole milk or creamer, ONE orange or apple per person, packaged muffins, oatmeal packets and yogurt). I liked the area and would stay there again. What I didn't like was that had to drag my luggage myself to my room when I arrived at 3am tired and sleepy. Otherwise I only needed the room to freshen up and have my stuff in a safe place and a place to sleep so therefore I would stay there again in the future and would recommend it to otherzz.

we stayed 2 nights before cruise. breakfast was good enough. convenient location to beach, shopping area. The building was very very old, which we can tolerate, The problem is it is very very very noisy, some people screaming or yelling after midnight. can't sleep well at all. not recommend for people who has light sleep, especially senior.

Hotel was clean and overall I rated 3 stars if it is for short period of time. The room was very clean, recently painted, bathroom very nice, completly renovated but taking showers was just painfull because there was any water pressure and didn't have towel hangers or anything were to hang clothes. During our 3 days stay we met 4-5 different persons at front desk, but just one was a bit service-minded and showed you some interest. Official check-in time is 3pm. Our room was not ready till well past 3, no excuse given. Second day we got back at 330pm, our room was not cleaned, no excuse. We rented a room with a kitchenette equipped with a 4-hob […] gas cooker with oven, a micro, a dishwasher, a fairly large fridge and freezer and a number of cupboards. All seemed to be quite new, BUT there were hardly NO kitchenware except for 4 plates, 1 bowl and 2 sets of fork and knife, nothing else. I.e. there were NO glasses, NO cups, NO pots etc. Even though we repeatedly ask for some equipment nothing happened. Thus the kitchenette was useless, but it gave the room more space. The comfort of the room was OK, except for the bed that was extremely stiff. Was nothing good? Yes, the shower, and the proximity to the beach. Mehr

according to expedia I was to receive free parking as part of my package,upon arrival that was not forthcoming, HOWEVER So. beach Plaza Villas is a neat property thats in a GREAT location as far as proximity to EVERYTHING south beach has to offer(3 min. from beach) and I would def. stay there and again and would most certainly recommend!

I traveled to Miami for business,and also had a cosmetic surgey procedure . I checked in at 2 pm and the front desk made me wait untill the 3pm check-in requirement.I was fresh out of surgery,and my assistant explained this to staff,and yet they still made us wait for a room that was clearly ready to check-in. We also requested a bottom floor room so […] I would not have to walk stairs,and they still put us upstairs. I requested car sevice for my appointment the next morning,and they never showed up .I wound up leaving a day early because they climb up the stairs was too much.Additionally they charged my Credit Card for 50.00 for incidentials.I phone them on this and the man hung up on me.I* love the vibe of SOBE,but will not return here!
