Sehr freundlicher Service, Shattel zum Flughafen pünktlich und ohne Probleme. Gutes Frühstück, parken kostenlos für die Reisezeit. Nur zu Empfehlen

Schade ist nur, dass wir einen Mantel in Ihrem Hotel hängen ließen - im Schrank - und dieser nicht an uns zurückgegeben wurde - trotz Anruf im Hotel, bleibt dieser vom Hotelgeist verschlungen. Und dass uns niemand mit der Autowäsche weiterhelfen konnte - wir bekamen keine Autowäsche ;( da an der Rezeption die Damen nicht wußte wo und wie.... ansonsten […] alles hervorragend, nette freundliche MA besonders an der Bar, Rezeption und beim Frühstück - WEITER SO!!!! Außer die EHRLICHKEIT der Zimmermaids -schade - sonst wäre es 1000%ig... Mehr

Other than the unavailability of the free hotel shuttle service as advertised; resulting in a 30 € taxi ride at my own expense, the staff and my stay were satisfactory.

I had a very pleasant stay at the Van der Valk near the Brussels airport. Free transport from and to the airport. Excellent service. The front desk manager, Katarina(?) was very helpful - helped me retrieve some additional luggage at the workplace that I visited while in Brussels. If you have a business trip that takes you to this part of the Brussels […] area, I would highly recommend the hotel. The only thing that I would caution is that the breakfast is 20 Euro, so unless you have tremendous appetite, I would normally refrain from this much expense. Mehr

The hotel was beautiful and the hotel service was excellent. It is located in a corporate park area, but very close to train into Brussels Center. The problem we had was we were told by Hotels.com to wait for a shuttle bus from airport to hotel, but the shuttle service does not operate on weekends! Free wifi in room, free water in minibar, nice bar and restaurant. Good selection of Belgian beers. Good car parking. Limited restaurant menu but it was o.k. and the food was well cooked and presented. Obviously very expensive prices but it is a hotel. Overall I was very impressed by this hotel.

The Van der Valk Hotel Brussels Airport was clean, comfortable, and convenient. The service was stellar, beginning with the complimentary taxi ride from and back to the airport. The personnel were friendly and honest. The shuttle bus stops at 11pm so we had to phone the hotel when we arrived and they arranged a taxi which they paid for. We arrived to the hotel late (around midnight) and the bar and restaurant were shut so we cannot comment on any of those things. The room was nice overall for being relatively close to the airport and quiet. One negative, the bed […] was not a double but two singles pushed together. The shower and bathroom were clean and in good working order. Overall the hotel was fine as an overnight stay before going back to the airport. Mehr

Hotel; service and confort are ok, the hotel is located closed to the airport, there is nothing around the hotel, except coporate offices.

Brand new hotel with young, eager staff! Nothing is a problem for anyone there. Great value stay. This may be the first hotel where I have nothing to complain about!

the hotel was terrific the service was great the buffet breakfast was gone before we arrived with an hour left for the service

Everything is fine, but the staff were a little rude and no one could explain how to catch the shuttle from the airport so we had to take a 20 euro cab (for a ride of about a half mile). Very annoying.

Friendly service and close to the airport. The train station is close to the hotel, but apparently not many trains actually stop there.

This hotel is great. But it is far from the city of Brussels. If you want to do sight seeing, skip this place and stay in the downtown area. No eating out options nearby. The day I arrived, they did not have an airport shuttle running, but they arranged for a taxi. (They paid for it.)

This was a great place to spend a night near the airport with a connecting flight the next day. The staff was very friendly and helped me with small things that other hotels might charge extra for. Instead I got a big smile and the woman in the reception said that it doesn't cost anything. Such little extras make you want to come back! Beautiful, clean hotel with big rooms. We stayed here because we had a very early flight to Riyadh the next morning and the hotel has free shuttle service to the airport. But the shuttle began too late for us to use it. Still, the staff really knew the best alternate way to get to the airport. Very helpful. The hotel was exactly what we needed. It is very close to the airport with free transport to and from the airport. They sent a taxi to pick us up and to take us back to the airport the next day. The hotel pays for the taxi. Also, the hotel also includes a tip for the driver, so if you tip, you are actually overtipping! The rooms are clean and modern, […] with nice amenities. There are complementary waters and sodas in the in-room refrigerator, as well as a complementary coffee/tea service (with electric hot water kettle) in the rrom. The bathroom is huge by european standards (and even compared to most American hotels)! The staff is terrific . One surprise: you will be charged a 5 euro tax upon checkout. We paid cash rather than have it charged to our credit card (which was required at check in). Also, arrange for your transportation back to the airport the night before you need to depart. They will probably have you share a van-sized taxi with other guests also heading to the airport. Not a problem with lots of room. Brussels airport is a great gateway. For our flight home, we were through check-in and security in less than 30 minutes! At the gate within 40 minutes of the taxi dropping us off at the airport. But, we also arrived 2 hours before flight (and beat the line that was forming after we checked in). If you arrive at night, find something to eat at the airport. There is nothing near the hotel (industrial area) and the hotel restaurant is quite expensive. We arrived into Belgium by train (Eurostar) and traveled to the airport by train. It's a long walk to the airport terminal area from the train arrival point. You can get food at the train station or at the airport. Also, there is a wonderful help desk/travelers/tourist desk at the airport. They dialed the hotel on their phone for us (a free call for us), and we were able to get instructions from the hotel on where to meet the taxi they sent for us. This hotel was the best hotel we stayed in over our two week vacation. The service was delightful and the rooms were very comfortable. Internet was free which was nice as compared to other hotels which charge 20 Euros. You will not be dissapointed staying here. I had a 10-hour overnight layover in Brussels and chose the Van Der Valk to enjoy it. The hotel was great! The reception personnel were so friendly, the rooms were gorgeous and clean, and the bed was extremely comfortable. My only complaint was at check-out. During peak check-out time (8am), there was just one gentleman working the desk and a very […] long line of people waiting to check out. There was a problem with some one's credit card, and we all had to wait 20 minutes for the hotel to resolve it before the receptionist could move on to the next customer. I was concerned about missing the shuttle to the airport (departs every half hour), and fortunately the driver waited for a couple of us to finish before leaving. This is a wonderful hotel but a tad hard to find from the train station. The hotel is located on the opposite side of the freeway; so it is a good walk mostly uphill. Once there, the people are wonderful, the room is very quiet and clean. Quick free ride to the airport.

Zeer goede service, vriendelijk personeel, ook heel erg handig om met busje van het hotel naar de luchthaven (Zaventem) te gaan. Bij terugreis kwam er een chauffeur ons ophalen. Hotel is net, zeer deskundig, ook de keuken (avondeten en ontbijt) is zeer lekker (met verse groenten). Het is een duurder hotel, maar toch waar voor je geld.

Hotel tres bien situé,personnel agréable restauration très correcte, chambre très agréable et bien insonorisée, petite remarque tout votre personnel ne parle pas toujours le français 24h sur 24

Flott hotell med god service og punktlighet. Unngå kø og forsinkelser; 5 minutter med hotellets buss shuttle til Zaventerm Int airport. 5 min å spasere til togstasjon og 12 min med tog til Brussel Central. Helt perfekt!

Hotellet är nytt och fräscht men servicen var katastrof. Har aldrig varit med om otrevligare och mer o tillmötesgående hotellpersonal.

Great service. I even got my most favorite room without mentioning this in advance. Very service minded employees who even know your name from previous visits. The breakfast is perfect: fresh orange juice, many fresh baked breads, fresh fruits, great coffee (i took a double espresso, usually only available in hotels at additional costs)

Stayed over night before flying out in the morning. Nice and clean hotel with large and silent rooms. The menues in the restaurant and bar were not impressing. Surroundings are not nice but it is close to the ariport and the hotel offers free shuttle. I did not test the breakfast.
