Granbury's Hilton Garden was an excellent choice for me. I was in Granbury to attend a funeral and I was not familiar with the city. The clerk, Katja, was extremely helpful in giving me directions and making sure my accommodations met my expectations I will certainly recommend the hotel to others.

What a great place to stay.

What a beautiful little city - a tourist/weekend,er althouguh you could hang out for a week easily and love it - it has everything, visual beauty, shopping, walking, hiking, biking trails and fun food establishments - you don't have to go further than the city hall center to do it all!

The walls are paper thin. I was kept up most of the night and then early morning because of conversations from the room next door. Also long hairs from previous guests decorated the shower walls.

This is a great place to stay. The hotel is very close to the square, and it's right on the lake (definitely pay the little bit extra for a lake view room). There's a boardwalk to stroll along where the lake and the hotel property come together. The rooms are nice, and ours was immaculate. The hotel is only three stories tall, so you don't have to wait […] long for an elevator. Parking is plentiful and easy. One of the biggest surprises was the restaurant. We only ate there for breakfast, but it was very good, very reasonably priced and the service was excellent. Other amenities like the pool and fitness room are average. There is a fairly large business center. The front desk service was hit-and-miss, but I'm chalking that up to staying in the off-season. Also, if you want a tour of Granbury, a free trolley stops by the hotel every hour. I would stay there again without hesitation. Mehr

The walls were paper thin I could hear everything the room next door was doing. They kept me awake until 1:00 in the morning. It was very loud, I would not stay there again.

Recently about 50 family members stayed for 1 to 3 nights at this hotel while attending the funeral of a family member. All of the staff were wonderfully accommodating to the various odd needs that arose due to the short planning time and the fact so many had come from all over the US. The eating arrangements are very condusive to feeding people well […] and inexpensively while alowing for a flexible schedule. From the Receptionists to the Wait Staff and Bar Staff to Housekeeping is a first rate operation. Thanks for all your help in a very difficult time! Mehr

This hotel is really nice. The location is great, right on a lake. The service was very good. The room I stayed in was pretty clean. I would have given a five star if it weren't for what happened at midnight. The fire alarm went off. I got my clothes on and ran to the lobby. They told us it was a false alarm and that the alarm would go off shortly. […] 3 hours later, it finally went off and I was able to get 3 hours of sleep. I realize that this was probably a very isolated incident. I haven't received my final bill yet. I am hoping for some sort of discount. Other than that, a very fine hotel. Mehr

The bed was very comfortable and the room nice and clean. The breakfast buffet (and cooked to order), although a bit expensive, was good.

The hotel was easy to find, very clean an they had a friendly staff!

We stayed three nights. The service was excellent, the rooms were nice and clean, and the lobby was comfortable. We were in Granbury for the holidays and will stay there again next year.

Beautiful facilities; lovely setting on Lake Granbury. Courteous staff and clean rooms, and the grill had good food at a reasonable price. Will definitely stay here again.

We went to Granbury as a quick get-away weekend for the family before school started and we were not disappointed. The Hilton Garden Inn was GREAT, it was right on the lake, literally 10 feet from the water and it is right next to the City Beach. This was our second stay at this hotel. It is very pretty with a boardwalk along the lake. It is adjacent to the city beach, which made for a nice walk in the water. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The food was very good as well. It is close to the historic shops downtown.

The hotel was very clean, priced right, and great breakfast.

Good standard of hotel, nice view of the lake (although a sealed window, no balcony) however the prices rose hugely over a holiday weekend which doesnt endear me to the chain...

Very nice. A little loud when people talk in the next room.

Very nice hotel and staff.

Lovely hotel. Easy to access from street. Enjoyed having a lake view. The only "downside" to our stay was that the guests in the room next to ours were very loud and argued and slammed things around which we could hear easily. That's not the hotel's fault, just disrespectful guests.

We had a great room with two queen beds adn plenty of space for two adults and a 3 y/o. Nicely decorated and clean room. My son enjoyed the tub. We all enjoyed the hot tub and indoor pool. We also enjoyed a morning walk along the lake which the hotel is right next to. We thought it looked like a great place to go back with the kiddo in the summertime […] since it was right next to the swimming beach and small water park. Also enjoyed the breakfast buffet (extra charge) and close location to the historical square in Granbury. I would stay there again and recommend to friends. Only issue is we noticed a number of dead fish in the lake...hopefully that was an isolated incident. Mehr

Beautiful, clean, excellent hotel. I would stay again.

Highly recommended room very comfortable, very convienent to Historic District. Breakfast buffet was very much worth the cost. Looking forward to returning and staying here again.

My wife and I enjoyed out stay. We were there over Thanksgiving visiting family in the area. We will plan to stay at the Hilton Garden Inn on future trips. The room was quite comfortable.

The hotel appears to get a lot of wedding party business with the adjacent center to the west. This causes a slightly later check in time than reported due to late check outs and slow room cleaning during the summer months. This is a minor inconvenience however, as the rooms were quite adequate and the location on the lake, within walking distance to […] downtown, makes the hotel a primary choice for Granbury. The other inconvenience would be the breakfast, which I believed came with the room, but apparently did not. It is a buffet style breakfast that you could easily not realize you had to purchase as the plates are out and available and no one says anything to you until you look like you are about to leave your plate. For two people it was 25 dollars plus tip, reasonable for lunch or dinner but slightly more than I would pay for breakfast. If I had not of had a breakfast waiver I would not have thought it worth the price. There is a Denny's and an IHOP in town that would be cheaper and you can get whatever you want. Mehr

Bar tender and server would not make eye contact with us and ignored us so we ate elsewhere. The front desk people always seemed to be on personal calls and seemed annoyed they had to wait on us. Still it was a clean spacious hotel.

When we arrived at this hotel, it was exactly what I had hoped it would be, a Hilton hotel. It was big and very nice and clean. The staff was very nice and helpful. The room was very big and clean. I love this place.

The stay was wonderful. Very nice staff. The only complaint we had was at breakfast....$10.95 for the breakfast buffet seems a little much for what should have been a free contenintal buffet.

I was shocked to fined a Hilton for such low price without skimping on the Hilton quality. I live in Dallas and have paid the same price for a motel room. I booked online and when we arrived at 6:30pm all I did was show my ID and CC and was handed my keys and shoed my room. I was again shocked at how fast my Check In was, no asking questions, looking […] up information or programming keys, only two minutes at the desk. I plan on going back just for a relaxing weekend. This is a brand new hotel, which I love. The rooms are nice and clean. The mattresses can be altered to your softness preference, but I did not know this the first night and slept very uncomfortably on a hard surface. As this feature is not the norm, they should have mentioned it at check-in. The pillows are also hard and uncomfortable. When we wanted […] to rent a movie on the TV, the system was not working. That was a disappointment. Their breakfast was pretty gross. Some of the fruit was rotten, their waffles tasted funny, and their potatoes were fried with bacon (we are vegetarians). We had lunch and dinner at the grill too, and they were both good. Our view of the lake was great, and the distance to the beach next door is perfect. I just happened to be in the area and decided to stay at this hotel in April.So I came back in June and also Im coming back in July.I have stayed in many hotels and I honestly have to say this hotel has every thing you need.The staff is very friendly and there for whatever you need.The beds are wanderful and the rooms are spacious.I would definetly […] recommend this hotel to anyone.
