This place was disgusting. There were only about 7 channels of T.V. of which 5 were spanish. There were empty condom wrappers left under the bed. I decided to be charged the one night stay and pay a 25.00 fee to break the reservation within an hour of being there and went to a place down the street.

Went there for an overnight trip and the hotel we usually go to was booked. Got in early and was able to check in a few hours before check-in time. Room was clean and fairly comfortable (for the price). Biggest gripe - Although it stated so on this website and in the literature in the hotel room THERE IS NO FREE CONTINENTAL BREAKFAST. This hotel offers the basics: bed, tv, bathroom etc.... No flair, not top tier.... but it is safe... has a lot for parking, and the office folks are extremely nice. Perfect for a quick late evening mtg or an away from home sleepover. For the budget romeo or the cash strapped....price and location CANT BE BEAT! Price is right for a nite!

We lost a pair of earrings here and they were returned , that was great !

THIS WAS THE WORST RODEWAY HOTEL THAT I EVER STAYED AT. I WAS SERIOUSLY DISAPPOINTED WITH THIS HOTEL, FROM THE ROOM CONDITION TO THE STAFF.. IT WAS THE WORST AND SUCH A WASTE OF MY MONEY. I stayed at this particular hotel because it was in the heart of the area where is was looking for realestate.. The office staff was very accomodating. The only problem was that Pacfic Coast Hwy was being re-paved my first night and the traffic was un-bearable and the noise was intense. Well I turned on the TV and there was hardcore porn channel, a surprise and nice for some I guess after a long day of training but not what I would have wanted my kids to tune into. The bed was the firmest I have slept on which is not my preference. The mini fridge in the room would let out a loud screaching sound randomly, I woke up early before I […] had to head out to training and guess what, no hot water in the shower. So I took a freezing cold shower, the sink did have hot water but the shower. I headed to check out and the guy on duty smiled and said I should have called him about the hot water. Waking up at 5 am and having to be someplace at 6:30 did not leave me enough room in my schedule to make maintenace calls and wait for a repair. He said it would be fixed before my next stay. I just laughed and let him know I would find other accomidations in the future. I don't recomend staying here if you are on business (unless you work in the sex trade maybe?) or if you have kids. Not a bad hotel in a convenient location (Signal Hill). Woke up to five police cars outside but they were just looking for someone with an outstanding warrant so no worries. Could have been a little cleaner but not bad for the price.

When we first checked in we where given the wrong room, this is after stepping in to the nasty broke down elevator that someone spit in. I'm surprised it passed inspection. After getting to our room we noticed that one of the beds was higher on one side. The floor was tilted that way, like you would roll off it. This was on the third floor mind you. […] The sliding balcony door had about a 2 inch gap at the top. We had to fold a towel and close the door on it to keep the noise out. The place needs to be torn down and rebuilt. We will never stay there again or recommend it. I am glad it was only for less then a 16 hour stay. BECAUSE if it was longer we would have been out of there the same night. I am surprised by the reviews and star ratings it has on hotels.com. It has nothing to do with hotels.com nor there fault. I have paid less and had better amenities. Mehr

Pros: (1) clean & comfortable room, (2) very close to airport, (3) inexpensive Cons: (1) thin walls allow for lots of outside noise to come in (lots of cars on PCH all night, car alarms going off, and Saturday night revelers at 2am); (2) breakfast is disappointing (choice of small muffin, danish, or day-old donuts, served with coffee only) As one […] reviewer suggested, if you just need a bed or are on a tight budget, it's a good deal in OC. Easy check in, friendly staff, coffee, clean room, better then expected,...And walking distance to antique stores and thirift shops. Bargain.

The room was very clean. While the air conditioner didn't actually fit the opening in the wall perfectly and I could hear the outside noises, the room temperature wasn't bad, and the neighborhood wasn't too noisy. The front desk clerk was relatively friendly. The continental breakfast doesn't exactly seem to start at 7am, and it's really small, really […] just two types of muffins. They didn't have sweetener for coffee even. The wireless internet connection was great in my second floor room, though, which was extremely useful. I did think it was a bit odd that I couldn't get a receipt at checkout from the front desk--I was told that since I used hotels.com for the reservation, I would have to contact them for the receipt. I was traveling for a competition, and for my this hotel was great because has good prices... The room always was clean, and anything I asking for something they provided to me... So if you are traveling and you won't spend time in your room and don't want to pay a lot of money this is the play you need to visit =)

No breakfast buffet as expected. A litle run down. AC in 1st room not working. Staff a little unsure of things. Decent price and location to LGB, but there are other hotels in the area I'd try next time. Also had an uncensored hard core porn channel available on the TV. Might be an issue if you had kids...

This was much better than I expected for the price. The pool hours are short, but the room was nice and clean and well cared for.
