Feb. 2013die Zimmer sind etwas abgewohnt und das Frühstück war eher einseitig,da wir aber die phillis kennen hatten wir keine übermäßigen Erwartungen , netter freundlicher Service , Adapter für die Elektrik wurde uns zu Verfügung gestellt,Gepäck aufbewahrt und auch sonst waren wir in allen Belangen sehr zufrieden. Lage ist genial ,Greenbelt 2 Minuten um die Ecke und auch alle anderen Shoppingcenter und die MRT in der wohl schönsten Ecke von Makati und Manila fußläufig zu erreichen.Würden jederzeit wieder buchen .

Safe and interesting to explore and to take a walk around during the day, walking distance to a big shopping mall right outside Intramuros, close to shops inside Intramuros. OK, the rooms are small (then, what do you expect, you are in the historic quarter of an asian metropolis, not on the Las Vegas Strip), but very clean and modern. Nice, clean bathrooms! Quiet and working AirCon. Phantastic view and cool setting of the roof-top bar, very friendly and accomodating staff. Breakfast OK, mix of european / asian (at least they serve real eggs and not that powdered stuff), nice restaurant with a good view. Reasonable good location towards airport & Makati (both are by taxi approx. 15min during night, ca 40min in rush-hour, metered fare less than 200php). We would definitely come back and would recommend it to friends or family, especially if it is for a couple of days at the beginning or end of a longer stay somewhere else in the Philippines, good spot to see Manila from an interesting angle.

Das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis stimmt. Für Nachtschwärmer G-Point, Cowboy-Grill, Manila Cafe (ehemals LA Cafe), Shoppen in der Nähe, "Robinson Mall" , 20 Taximinuten entfernt eines der weltgrößten Malls, die "Mall of Asia". Sehenswert Luneta Park (Rizal Park) und Ocean Park (Aquarium) in der Nähe. Ich werde wieder dort buchen wenn ich nach Manila komme.

Das Dusit Thani liegt in unmittelbarer Nähe von diversen Shopping-Malls und in der Nähe vom Hard Rock Café. Ebenso ist die MRT-Station in wenigen Gehminuten erreichbar. Der Hotelservice ist super. Dar wir eine Suite gebucht hatten, konnte in der Lounge gratis Kaffee (Nespresso-Kaffeepads), Fruchsaft und kleine Snacks konsumiert werden. An dem Frühstücksbuffett […] war nichts zu bemängeln. "Freundliches Personal und gute Lage"
Der Eingangs- und Empfangsbereich ist grosszügig und gepflegt und zeugt von den vergangenen grossen Jahren. Es finden immer noch zahlreiche wichtige lokale Anlässe in diesem Hotel statt. Die Zimmer sind soweit in Ordnung und bieten alles was man braucht. Man merkt ihnen aber schon an, dass sie etwas in die Jahre gekommen sind. Das Frühstück ist gut […] und bietet ein sehr reichhaltiges Buffet. Die Lage ist sehr praktisch, vom Flugplatz kommend muss man nicht gleich ganz Makati durchqueren. "Eines der Besten in Manila"
Diesmal waren wir nur für eine Übernachtung in Manila. Die Lage in Makati ist zentral und praktisch neben Glorietta Mall, der Service ist meiner Meinung nach exzellent. Das Frühstück ist eines der besten und reichhaltigsten, die ich kenne. Das einzige, was man bemängeln könnte: das Badezimmer ist ein bisschen eng.Authentische Expedia-Gästebewertung

Wir kommen immer gerne in dieses Hotel, da diese sehr zentral für Besuche unserer Freunde, Bekannten und Familienangehörige ist. Ferner ist die Auswahl groß an Einkaufs-und Essmöglichkeiten, welches schon direkt vor der Haustür beginnt, SM Makati, Glorietta Malls, Greenbelt. "Accessible to everything but quite pricey"
I've stayed here 3 days for the second time after I have visited my parents. I find the receptionists very helpful and friendly. While I was waiting for my turn one of the receptionist offered me some sweets while waiting and the other was chatting with me. That was cool. When I entered the room they also have complimentary water. I felt welcome right […] away. The breakfast and the service were good on the first day. I checked-in without problems, things went smoothly and accordingly. I booked for 1 king size bed and the reception asked me if it is ok for me to have the twin beds as I was alone I asked if I can have a king size bed and he took time to get me a room with king size bed. Every day I got a complimentary water which is really really good. When I had my second day breakfast, I found the service was not excellent. At this time I didn't enjoy my breakfast at all. The waiters/waitresses were not attentive to the needs of their customers dining in.I had to always ask the waitress for coffee and it always took time for them to take the plates away. It was quite frustrated although the buffet was very nice lots of choices. I really like to stay in Dusit Thani, because it is very accessible to everything and it is safe as well. I think one of the areas that they need to improve is the service in their buffet restaurant. They should be more efficient and more attentive in dealing their hotel guests/customers. "Hotel liegt in Makati-alles zu Fuss erreichbar"
Das Hotel liegt direkt neben einem Supermarkt SM über den auch weitere Shopping-Malls, Landmark und der Greenbelt, erreicht werden können. Man ist also auf die Infrastruktur des Hotels nicht unbedingt angewiesen. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit . Der thailändische Charme des Managements ist deutich sichtbar. Gute Atmosphäre und reichhaltiges […] Frühstückbuffet, bei dem in Stosszeiten das Personal überfordert war. Gestört hat uns, dass beim Einchecken gleich versucht wurde, den Preis durch up grades in die Höhe zu treiben. Preise für Internet und Flughafentransfer fanden wir zu hoch. "Great hotel"
This was one of the best hotels I have ever stayed at in terms of customer service. The hotel is an older hotel but very classy. It is worth upgrading to the executive club to access the club room with free drinks in the evening and great hors d'oeuvres throughout the day. The rooms are really old and very badly furnished, bad maintenance, bad lighting, very old and small bathroom, very small LCD TV for a 5 star hotel. Room is overpriced, the SPA is wonderful but them raised significantly their prices. The lobby is nice. The service is correct. It's more than time now to renovate and refurnish correctly the rooms, it […] is a supposed 5 stars hotel. I won't recommend unless with newly renovated rooms. Excellent staff. Bar none the best I've seen. Service 6 out of 5 stars. The overall condition of the room is good. Expected it to be cleaner Tha the it was. I found dust and hairs near the corners and the edges..... Something that I shouldn't find. My overall experience was a 3.5 out of 5 stars. "Amazing hotel"
Our stay at Dusit Thani was flawless. The hotel itself if absolutely beautiful and the rooms are lovely, spacious and have comfortable beds. A little bit of luxury! The staff are so friendly and helpful and don't hover around always waiting for a tip like everyone else in the Philippines. The buffet breakfast was excellent, lots of variety and the food […] is all fresh. The hotel is around the corner from greenbelt, glorietta, SM and Landmark, walking to the malls feels safe and is very easy. Also very close to the airport- we took both coupon and metered. If you are going from the hotel, make sure they put the meter on as it is less than 200php to get to the airport as opposed to the first day when the driver sold us 300php flat rate (which is only good if you get stuck in heaps of traffic). Excellent and more importantly the hotel is sensitive to the needs of the disable and provide them the respect and courtesy that they otherwise would not get elsewhere. I hosted a family dinner gathering at the UMU restaurant and both of my uncles (both in wheelchairs) were treated very well that the cost of the hotel became inconsequential to how well […] my uncles were treated with sincere respect, assistance and compassion. "Great hotel but cheaper to eat out"
Located close to shops and restaurants. Breakfast selection was fairly impressive for Manila. Nice lobby/foyer area with fantastic smiling staff always willing to help, little outdoor garden was nice to sit down and have a beer in the afternoon. Swimming pool looked ok but we didn't get time to explore. The hotel has a few nice restaurants, we ate at […] Toscas Italian and the food and service was impeccable but comes at a hefty price. Overall pretty good. For westerners this is more like a 3.5 star hotel but very good by Philippine standards. Would stay here again although it's a little bit expensive. But very very convenient. You can literally see SM mall out the window just accross the road (and it's very easy to cross the road as there is a pedestrian crossing there which surprisingly […] the drivers do take notice of). Very friendly, helpful and efficient staff. My only complaint - the free welcome drink. It's a bit silly to have one drink per room when there is more than one guest (i.e a couple) staying in the room. A bit of a shame to have to share one drink between a couple! "Good for a business trip"
Nice hotel, but showing its age. The service was excellent in every respect. The staff were cordial, helpful and friendly at every step. The club was OK, but I am used to a little more food and beverage choice for the cocktail hour and a more welcoming atmosphere. I understand they are building a new club on the 17th floor though. The hotel is located […] in a nice part of town, but it faces backwards, so you actually have to walk around the building to find the nicer area. The main entrance faces a parking structure, so it doesn't feel very safe when you first walk out the door. there is a side entrance that faces the side of a large shopping mall, so it's not exactly inviting to go for a walk. If you actually walk another block on the left side of the hotel, you get to a very nice large avenue (Ayala Ave.) with a lot of shopping, restaurants, etc., but you won't see any of that when you arrive at the hotel. The hotel staff follows the Thai traditions, explaining the excellent service, and the decor and atmosphere reflect the Thai ownership of the Dusit brand. Overall, great for a 4 day stay. The breakfast choices were good (not awesome as it can be in SE Asia, but pretty good) and the resturants served excellent food ($$$$ though, to be expected) MehrAuthentische Expedia-Gästebewertung
