Hamilton Hotel - Seoul

Im mittelpunkt direkt an der subway von itaewon super gelegen,etwas laut,und ein bäcker direkt vor der haustür,das ist sehr gut.Leider ging der öffentliche internetanschluß nicht bei meinem bedarf und ich wurde in ein internetcafe geschickt,wäre nett gewesen eine möglichkeit im haotel zur verfügung zu haben.Ansonsten keine klagen,

Aeltere Inneneinrichtung, abgenutzter, fleckiger Teppichboden, aber sauberes Bett und Bad inmitten von Itaewon gelegen.

Very disappointed in Hotel , staff tried very hard to keep me satisfied but between taxi drivers having a hard time to find and it it being a older facility, things were not worth it. Walking down dark streets and alleys just didn't do it for me.

good atomosphere around hotel and very convenient location to go out for shopping and sightseeing. But if you stay weekends, sometimes too noisy to sleep because of a club behind the hotel...

I recently went to visit my son in Seoul and stayed at the Hamilton. Perfect location, clean, friendly, helpful - could not ask for a better hotel. The room could have been a little bigger but I think that comes with the country. English speaking area so I had no trouble getting around. location is the very very good, very convenient for subway, taxi, airport bus, shopping, dining, drinking or meeting friends the lobby is ok the corridor is too dim the room is a bit small, but will be good if they give me 1 double bed my street is very noisy, as most korean young people speak or laugh like shouting the saunna is old style and […] no privacy at all, and not romantic at all the rest room is too noisy as people walk and talk all the time, some of the strange guys will also interrupt you. This hotel is extremely conveniently located, literally over top of the Itaewon subway stop. The lobby area is quite nice looking, but the rest of the hotel (hallways, rooms), though perfectly clean, is slightly more run-down/less fancy than the lobby. The room is smallish, and contains a small single bed, but assuming you're there to sight see rather […] than sit in the hotel room, it serves the purpose just fine. The hotel staff speak sufficient English for check in/out, wake up calls, etc. but I found them to be lacking in terms of providing directions or suggestions of things to see, places to go. Fortunately, there's a tourist information office in the Itaewon metro stop, and they were quite helpful. Overall, the hotel is just fine; perhaps a bit overpriced, but you're paying for the convenient location more than the room itself. Mehr

the location is so convenient : 1. even if you do not make any reservation for any transport to pick u up from the airport, there is limo bus line from incheon airport that stops in front of the hotel. 2. it is close to all transportation line ie buses, taxis also tubes. 3. Good news for Muslim travellers, there r plenty of halal food restaurants and […] halal frozen food retail shops just a walk away near by the Mosque. you can packed halal frozen food to bring over to the ski resort! wonderful. 4. staff are generally friendly 5. bank is just nx door to exchange money, to my pleasant surprise the banks r not crowded at all, u feels so important even to change couple of hundred USD.. I have stayed at the Hamilton on a few occassions. Overall the quality of the hotel is decent for the price. The only problem would be the level of noise in the hotel. Because the hotel is in a popular and busy location the noise from the surrounding neighbourhood is all pervasive. Last night I ended up sleeping on the floor in the bathroom to cut back […] on the noise from the neighbourhood. One of the local bars had the volume up way too high. As a result the thump, thump, thump of the dance music could be felt and heard in the room. This complaint is beyond the control of the hotel. Otherwise, and as long as you expect the noise, it is an okay place to stay. Mehr

Don't go here and expect to be able to fall asleep... This hotel has a paper thin window, and you can hear EVERYTHING from the main street of Itaewon. I wasn't able to sleep until 5am due to noise from outside. The hotel didn't change my room either. Personally, I won't go back to this hotel again.

really close to the subway ,easy to go every where from this area

I was traveling with small children and we stayed in a suite room. The hotel has a very strategic location since the Itaewon subway station is exactly in front of the hotel. The Seoul City bus day tour also stops opposite of the hotel, and the Airport Limousine Bus Express also stops near the hotel. I would really recommend this hotel for those who […] travel on their own, and for muslims there are a lot of halal restaurants around the hotel, even one of the restaurants in the hotel does offer halal meal. There are NO complimentary mineral water, toothbrush, toothpaste and shampoo provided - all are chargeable. Yet the hotel provides a water fountain at the elevator lobby so I could always get my free water from there. The furnitures are - however - a bit old I think... And the nights were a bit noisy with people having parties below. Mehr

The location is great, but the rooms are very old and not well maintained. My room had a strange smell to it. It was just off the pool and they had large volumes of young kids at the pool, so my idea of sitting poolside and catching up on some work did not pan out. Mini-bar did not get restocked daily, which is fine, unless you plan on it being restocked. […] There is no bus stop for Gimpo airport near the hotel, but there is from Incheon, althought the bellman could not tell me exactly where or how close when I expressed my concern about how far it was given I had a lot of luggage, so I ultimately took a cab. The location is pretty good, but the hotel itself is pretty old and warn. The room I was staying in is pretty spacious, with two full beds and a living area, but the room my sister was staying in is very small, only two twin beds. WE spent 10 days in the Hamilton Hotel Seoul. We had a great 10 days and the hotel played their part in it. The staff were really friendly and helpful always there to offer support when needed. The rooms were comfortable and were cleaned everyday. The coffee room on the ground floor was been renovated when we were there but there were a few good coffee […] shops within reach. Very good place to stay for the price and convienance. The room was clean spacious and comfortable. The location could not have been better, the subway station was in front of the hotel, shopping was only steps away and all attractions very accessible. The staff was very accomodating and helpful and there are many western food places within a 3 block […] radius. I will stay there again when I return on a subsequent vacationl Would highly recommend. This hotel was terrible on almost all fronts. The only positive was the flat screen tv but even the cable was fuzzy! We had a twin room on the 7th floor. The room had windows but the only window that opened was about a foot wide by 3 feet in height. We were there in mid May and outside it was mid 70s (23C) and the room got hot. The AC was not working […] and when we asked for it to be fixed we were told "it's not the season and SC is not turned on yet". This then created another problem because we had to have the window open all the time. At night, it was hell because there was a nightclub across the street that was so loud it sounded like it was in the room next door. Seriously, all night long (from 10pm until 5am) all you could here was really loud music, people yelling, and we could even make out what the dj was saying. It was awful! We slept maybe a couple hours total. Trying to sleep during the day was no better because there was construction outside that also prevented us from sleeping. The room itself is old and needs to be updated. It's years of use were obvious and needed a thorough cleaning. Bring your own toiletries because the ones they have are only for sale on the mini bar. How freaking cheap that is! We stayed 2 nights and the maids didn't change the glasses. They were set up as if new but we had wine and the red stains were on the glasses from our first night. I only hope they were changed before we got there the first night! I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. Mehr

Hotel location is great but I wouldn't want to bring a guest into the room - the amenities are very basic.

便利です。とにかく。食べるところもコンビニも遅くまでやってるし。ただ、そういう環境だから、夜中でも外で騒ぐ人の声や音が多少聞こえます。個人差はありますが、飲んで帰るなら、気にならないかも。

近くの劇場での観劇のため当ホテルを利用しました。 外観は古いのですが、内装は新しくきれいで部屋の広さも十分ありました。部屋に寝間着がなかったのが 情報と違いましたが、他は快適に過ごせました。

　隣の駅　ハンガンジンでミュージカルを観るという目的だったので選びましたが、思った以上に楽しい街でした。 ホテルはやや古めに思いましたが、何より駅近くでミョンドンにも行くにも便利でした。又泊まりたいです。

交通方便，環境有點吵，設施舊

체크인한날 룸키를 받아서 올라갔더니 룸키가 안맞아서다시 내려왔다가 교환해서 들어가니 청소도 안되있고 ..!! 넘 실망했어요..!! 외국인이 많이 오는 호텔인데 제가 다 부끄러워지내요..!!

괜찮은거같아요 수영장땜에이용한거라^^

梨泰院のど真ん中にあり、非常に便利ではあったが、ホテルの建物自体古く、また、町中にあるため土曜日の深夜、外のうるささが聞えた。これまで韓国のホテルを色々泊まったが、部屋の満足度はよくなかった。ただ立地的な便利さはあった。夜を楽しむ人には良いホテルかも。

立地は最高。地下鉄「イテウォン」駅の目の前なので、ソウル市内のどこへ行くにも便利。周囲は、駐留米軍の吉があるおかげで、おしゃれなバーやパプが多い。通り反対側のマッサージ屋は日本人がよく訪れるので、日本語が通じてサービスもよい。 ただ、部屋の設備に難あり。浴室のバスタブから水を抜いたところ、水が洗面所のほうまで溢れてきて、スリッパを履いていては入れなくなった。はだしで入ったからいいが、足を拭かなければらずめんどう。部屋まであふれてこないかと心配だった。もっとも、部屋が乾燥しているので、翌朝には完全に乾いていたが。

ﾘｯﾁ的にもよくていい感じでした！ フロントのスタッフも気さくで 高級なホテルよりも逆に過ごしやすかったです。

- A mon arrivée, ma chambre n'avait pas été nettoyée mais elle l'a été dès que j'ai signalé l'oubli. Ma chambre a été par la suite nettoyée tous les jours. - Les ascenseurs sont très lents. - Accès internet gratuit dans les chambres mais quelques problèmes de connection. - Situation proche du centre ville par le métro, dans le quartier des expatriés. […] Le quartier est très animé la nuit (peut être un peu bruyant). J'ai évité de quitter la rue principale, les petites rues semblant moins sûres. Il y a de nombreux restaurants de nationalités diverses. Ceux que j'ai essayés ne m'ont pas déçue. Pour résumer, un hôtel pas trop cher qui offre des services corrects mais rien de plus. Mehr
