Smal pool, but at least they have one. Gym with out aircon. 5 min. walk to BTS. Depending on the price we would stay there again.

Very pleased. Note from the the name that it's "Suites" - it's more a serviced appartment than a simple hotel room. And for that, the service is excellent! And the room is simply great for people who are mainly staying for work - full kitchenette, workplace, big bathroom, great cabinets, TV/hifi. Very good cleaning, but the room shows a little wear, […] including the almost inevitable moldy seals on the bathtub, water pressure somewhat low. I didn't mind. It's in a very quite street in a very loud area - perfect. Free tuktuk service to sukkhumvit street. But even walking to BTS in business attire was not really a problem. Bekam ein Zimmer das direkt zur Nachbarliegenschaft lag und wegen baulichen Schikanen sah man nicht mal zum Fenster raus. Wollte das Zimmer wechseln, aber ohne Erfolg. Hatte auch ein Zimmer mit W-less Empfang gebucht, aber keine Spur von Empfang. Musste immer ins Erdgeschoss an den PC. Zweckmäßiges sauberes Hotel mit hoteleigenem Tuk-Tuk, welches die Gäste kostenlos zur nächsten Bahnstation bzw. Hauptstraße fährt. Sehr nettes und hilfsbereites Personal. Das Frühstück war völlig okay, der Kaffee mega klasse. Wir waren nur auf der Durchreise für eine Nacht in dem Hotel, würden es aber immer wieder buchen.

Ein schönes Hotel mit gutem Service und sauberen Zimmern. Das Personal war sehr nett und hilfsbereit, das Frühstück war gut. Im Zimmer war eine kleine Küche integriert, auch gab es einen Fitnessraum im Erdgeschoss und einen Außenpool. Wie überall in den Nebenstraßen von Bangkok war die Umgebung nicht so sauber und "aufgeräumt", wie man das als Deutscher […] gewohnt ist ;-) Unser Zimmer hatte Blick- und Hörweite zu einer 6-spurigen Hauptstraße. Diese ist auch noch spät in der Nacht gut befahren. Ohropax/Ohrstöpsel sollte man daher lieber dabei haben. Zu Fuß waren es nur 5 Minuten zur Sukhumvit Road. Hier kann man shoppen, essen. Es gibt viele Restaurants unterschiedlicher Nationalitäten. Vegetarisches bzw. veganes Essen ist kein Problem. Auch das Nachtleben spielt sich hier ab. Mehr

Das Hotel liegt recht zentral, Zimmer komfortabel, hatte auch eine eigene Küche, Frühstück war ok, jedoch so als Vegetarier etwas spärlich. Es ist auf jeden fall weiter zu empfehlen, wenn man ein paar Tage in Bangkok verbringen will.

sehr freundliches, hilfsbereites Personal. Die Soi 2 ist eine sehr ruhige Strasse. Deshalb nachts absolute Ruhe. Folgende Mängel im Zimmer. Dusche kein Warmwasser. In der Küche keinerlei Besteck. Swimmingpool etwa 2X8 Meter und ganztags im Schatten.Fahrstuhlkapazität maximal 3 Personen.

Wir haben dort nur eine Nacht verbracht und waren vor allem mit dem grossen Zimmer sehr zufrieden. Negativ muss ich die Flexibilität bewerten, wir mussten ca. fünf Stunden warten bis wir das Zimmer beziehen durften. Für mich ein super Komfort, und für thailändische Verhältnisse, auch ein Super Zustand der Zimmer. Lage sehr nahe von Einkaufsmeile, und, wenn's jemand interssiert, von Rotlicht Meile. Die first impression, when you enter the room (I stayed in a Junior Suite in 8th floor, wow, nice and big. But then I started to look a little bit closer at everything (furniture, bathroom, kichenette, coookware ...) and realized that it was looking old and cheap and that some things even were brooken. It's actually rated as a 4 star hotel but in my opinion it deserves not more than 3 stars. The price is much to high for the room quality and the service. I payed many times about the same price at other hotels of the same category in Bangkok but if I compare the Aspen Suites with these other hotels it's like I would compare a Toyota with a Mercedes or a BMW. The hotel is very nicely located Sukhumvit soi 2 near Nana Plaza. They provide to you a Tuk Tuk service up to near BTS Station nearby. Rooms are clean, and they have a small kitchen which is handy. Pool is small but nice. Overal very nice value !!!

This is not a 4 star hotel. The star ratings on various websites for this hotel are misleading. This is one of the most lousy hotels I have ever stayed in. Bad smell, bad furniture , poor lighting are characterics of this hotel.

I stayed in 3 different hotels when I was in Thailand. 2 of them were a 5 star property and the 3rd was Aspen Suites however I enjoyed more in Aspen.. Some key features of Aspen suites - Friendly english speking staff - good location - Spcious Rooms - well equiped kitchen - very reasonable pricing Overall a great hotel to relax..

We had booked this hotel for the second time, after staying here in April 2012 as we started our nine month trip around the world. We were finishing our trip in Jan 2013 and wanted to stay here again. We were upgraded without asking from a standard room to the best executive suite which we were so pleased with. The room was amazing, huge. We had so […] much space and it was great. The staff were all so nice and happy, and we got one really well with all the resturant and kitchen staff. The pool is lovely and the patio area. Only downside was that the sun did not reach the pool area during this stay. It did in April, so obvioulsy down to time of year. We had a wonderful stay and it was alovely place to start and finish our trip. The hotel is a 5min walk to the main Bangkok street and the BTS train. We were very happy here. Mehr

The Aspen is a nice botique sized hotel in a good location on Soi to and walking distance to Nana area Soi 4 and BTS.I've stayed quite afew times at the Aspen before. This is a conveniently located service apartment in Bangkok. The room is good for the rate and staff is helpful. But, water faucets (bathroom sink and kitchen sink), bathroom shower stand, etc. are old and were broken. Also, bathroom towels were very old with holes in it.

I have been traveling in and out of Bangkok for about 6 weeks and every time I stay at Aspen. The rooms are clean and the service is great. My only complaint is the breakfast is a bit pricy. (if not included in the price.) over all a good value.

The room was OK, a bit dark as our window looked onto an alley but it was OK for a 3 day stay . Breakfast was abundant and had a good selection. A bit hard to find for cab drivers, so it's best to mention the JW Mariott a few hundred meters away.

A short cut gets you to Soi 4 pretty easily (if overweight western men perving over thai girls if your thing) and a short BTS ride or taxi ride to Soi 11 and 14 which are very fun. It's a small hotel, it's first impression to me was a little disappointing. Room wasn't too bad but not too great. You get what you pay for. It is located in small street, they have toktok service during day time but felt little dangerous at night to walk. However all staff were excellent.

INITIALLY I WAS PUT UP ON A FLOOR WHICH HAD ONLY ONE ROOM WITH OTHER TWO ROOMS BEING FOR STAFF. We really enjoyed the Aspen Suites due to the huge room and comfortable space. The location was good, at the end of Soi 2 meaning it was quiet and yet easy to get to everything else that Sukhumvit offers. They even have a fee shuttle to get you to the top of the road but the walk is easy. Staff were fantastic. They really were there to ensure your stay was to be enjoyed. If I had a request it was either dealt with immediately or within minutes. They even have their own Tuk Tuk service to take you to the Sukhumvit main road which is about a 8 minute walk and not fun in stifling heat. For a little contribution the Tuk Tuk man would take […] you direct to a destination in the local. Wireless internet from my room a bit hit and miss but they had wired internet also in the room so not an issue. The rooms were comfortable. I made use of the small gym and small swimming pool. If I had any criticism it would be the open area by the pool and gym, which was mosquitoe city and the Hotel should think about doing something to alleviate the pests. The staff were also very unobtrusive, they hardly ever seem to be around you when you were in the vicinity of the hotel but once you moved out of your room, dining area, pool area, they were hard at work again cleaning the area. I probably wouldn't agree with the 4 star rating of the premises but maybe for Bangkok it is a fair rating. Mehr
