Das Hotel ist gut an die U-Bahnlinien DLR und Jubilee angebunden (nur wenige Minuten Fußweg), einziger Nachteil: die Haltestelle liegt in der Zone 3. Hotel und Zimmer waren sauber. Leider nahmen es unsere Nachbaren nicht ganz so ernst mit der Nachtruhe, so dass wir aufgrund der Hellhörigkeit einige Male um unseren Schlaf gebracht wurden. Das Frühstück […] war so weit in Ordnung, wenn mal ein paar mehr Leute gleichzeitig gefrühstückt haben, kam das Personal oft nicht mit dem Auffüllen hinterher. Prinzipiell bat das Frühstück wenig Abwechslung war aber vollkommen in Ordnung. Wir können dieses Hotel trotz kleiner Mängel weiterempfehlen. Mehr

Optimales Hotel für Städtekurzreisen, da gute Anbindung an das öffentliche Verkehrsnetz. Auch für unerfahrene Linksfahrer gut mit eigenem PKW erreichbar. Weiterempfehlung nur OHNE Frühstück! Völlig OK für einen günstigen 3 Tage-London-Sightseeing Trip. Günstige Lage zur U-Bahn. Kurze Wege in die Stadt. Frühstück: naja, Englisch halt, aber OK. Sauber. Es kommen aber auch ganze Schulklassen. Dann wirds beim Frühstück schon mal lauter.

Zimmereinrichtung ist alt aber sauber. Zum Sightseeing der City ist die Lage vielleicht nicht ideal, aber wenn man eine Veranstaltung in der O2-Arena besucht ist es optimal!! Nur 1 Station. Jederzeit wieder!

Das Hotel hat unsere Erwartungen an ein 3*** Hotel in London doch übertroffen. Das Zimmer war sehr sauber, das Frühstück angemessen und die Innenstadt war mittels U-Bahn in 10min zu erreichen. Die Lage des Hotels ist etwas außerhalb des Inner Circles von London, aber gut mit 2 U-Bahnlinien sowie einem Bussammelpunkt angebunden. Das Personal an der Rezeption ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Die Zimmer sind klein aber mit allen Notwendigkeiten ausgestattet. Kritik: Frühstückschaos! An beiden Tagen waren Tassen und Teile des Bestecks über […] längere Zeiten nicht vorhanden. Vergriffenes wurde nur sporadisch nachgeliefert. Alle leeren Tische wurden nach dem Frühstück über 40 Minuten lang nicht abgeräumt/gesäubert außer von Hotelgästen, die ihrerseits einen Tisch brauchten. Das sichtbare 2-Mann starke Personal war total überfordert und liess sich nicht oft blicken. - Grundsätzlich war die Auswahl beim Frühstück gut und ohne das genannte Manko wäre die Bewertung wesentlich besser geworden. Excellent, great views and excellent helpful staff

Stayed for weekend break and hotel was great. Right beside train station. Basic but very comfortable. 2adults and 1 child plenty of room. Enjoy

Staff at the hotel were great! Very helpful and attentive. Difficult to control room temperature - warm for sleeping and too loud to open window.

I just want to say a huge thank you to the staff of the Holiday Inn Express!! No request made was a problem. They helped us with directions finding our way around town, printed boarding passes for us, helped order delivery when we arrived at 11:00 pm from our flight starving and even heated pizza that we brought back to the room and plated for us. The […] staff goes above and beyond which is refreshing in a time when you usually feel as if the staff is doing you a favor by letting you stay in their hotel. The location is less than 5 min walk to the tube. Take the Jubliee line to Canning Town Station. When exiting station, follow signs for the busses. Once you exit the bus station, walk about a block and HIE is on left hand side of street. You can reach central London in about 25 mins. There is really nothing in the neighborhood except a small convenience store and Italian restaurant next to the hotel but you are in London to see London! The room was exceptionally clean. I think we lucked out with space (had an end room 101). We had a cut out in the corner that the sofa bed pulled out for our daughter so we had plenty of room. The other rooms we walked by didn't appear to have that much space. Bed was not the greatest but we lived. There is a little bar in the hotel that is open until 2 am. We met some great people one night and had a few pints. It was nice to relax in the hotel and prices were very reasonable. Breakfast was great. Sausages, eggs, beans (it's a British thing, we Americans don't understand), toast, cereal, fruit, yogurt, fresh crossiants, etc. We were able to get our fill each morning that kept us going well past lunch time. If you are travelling to London on a budget and can't afford to stay in central London then I cannot recommend this hotel highly enough! If we are ever fortunate enough to return to London, we will definitely be back :-) Mehr

Near to metro station. The neighbourhood itself isn't too good but nothing to be afraid of. The room was very noisy. We got a loud neighbour and room with a window to street which increased the noise a lot. Otherwise I'm very pleased.

This hotel is a perfect stayover if you are going to an event at the O2 Arena. No minibar, but a bar in the reception. A simple and nice place. If you are planning sightseeing or a night out this hotel is a bit far away from anything. Expect 15£ a day for two adults to travel to the center. Nice modern hotel. Very clean and quiet for London. Bed, pillow and temperature just right and made for a great night's sleep. I never had to wait long for the lift. I ran at night & the next morning and was able to find a nice route. A nice Italian next door but other than that it was the DLR/tube back into the city for a choice of menus. Would stay […] again. A half term 2 day stay. Rooms a bit small, when we put the sofa bed up (we had to put it up and make it up ourselves) there wasn't much room left. Super bathroom tho. perfect location for the o2 and Westfield Stratford Shopping Centre. The room was a disabled room and if we got to go again would ask for normal size room as the shower quite small. take care .when using the vending machine as the hotel deny all responsibility for any problems might occur ! Overall a good stay .

stayed here for one night to go to excel arena ideal staff freindly nothing too much trouble although breakfast can be a bit of a free for all. location only a short walk to rail station and bus link easily accessible to central london although we did experiance a problem getting back to hotel when tubes closed due to snow will be coming back in summer […] looking to explore more of london Mehr

Hotel was basic, but clean. The room was freezing, no central heating in December! When I complained I was given a portable heater, which of course turned of automatically, each time we went out with key. Leaving us to return to a freezing room!! Breakfast was more quantity than quality, lots of beans and sausage...no bacon

Brillent stay!

This hotel is clean and very convenient to Jubilee Line Canningtown station and just one stop away from the O2 Arena. Would definitely use it again.

Me and my friend were in London for the ATP tennis tour finals at the O2. This hotel was in a great location - only one tube stop away. There's nothing in the surrounding area but as you are a minute away from the tube, anywhere is accessible.

Booked this hotel to stay in as going to concert in 02. The tube is literally 3 mins from hotel and its 1 stop to the 02 which when you get out of tube station is right around corner. Couldnt have been more convenient. Room was fine. Not luxury but perfect for what we needed. I would stay here again if i was going to another concert.

Staff were friendly and helpful. Hotel was just five minutes walk from the tube station so made it easy for getting anywhere you wanted to go. It was really nice and clean. Decent choice for breakfast which was buffet style so good for a quick start before going out for the day. Would definitely stay there again if the price was right.

Great holiday inn shame they have a very understocked bar!!!

We arrived and our room was ready. the hotel is close to several train stations and a good number of restaurants. In additions, you can take one of those hop on off buses a block away from the hotel. There is not AC in the room but late September is not hot in London and at night we left the window open and the room cools down very quickly. Yes we heard […] some noise outside but it didn't bother us because we were on the 5th floor. Hyde Park is just a block away and it is great place for running, biking or walking. Mehr

This hotel was clean and very well presented. The staff very friendly and helpful. The rooms were very clean and tidy and the beds comfortable. The tube station is a 2 minute walk and its only one stop to the 02 arena which is what we used it for. It was easy to just jump on the tube to the arena and just as easy back. Travelling from Belgium to attend a concert at the O2 : this worked out perfectly. Hotel was a perfect choice!

The hotel was clean, staff were pleasant, breakfast adequate. Not as close to the city as we would have liked but the station was a very short walk, unfortunately all hotels were booked out closer because of Wimbledon. Value for what we paid.

My family and I stayed at the above mentioned hotel and from the moment we arrived to checking out the service and friendliness of the staff was second to none. The only thing that marred an otherwise perfect stay was the road works outside this however was out of the control of the hotel staff. Very convenient for the O2, only one stop on the underground. Unable to turn the heating off in the room, too warm overnight, so slept with the window wide open. Apart from that, a very good standard of hotel with a variety of breakfast food. Would certainly stay here again.

WYSIWYG Very convenient location coming from M11. Easy access to central London. Room starting to look a bit tired but the brand basically delivers what it says it will.

This hotel is ideally situated for the o2 Arena, just a short walk (about 3 or 4 minutes) from Canning Town tube station which is only one stop from North Greenwich and the o2. This hotel is the standard economy hotel experience. No frills, but the rooms were clean, rooms and facilities new. Everything worked and the staff were friendly, especially the front desk staff. If you need to get into central London easily this is good. Very close to tube station. No surprises at these incredibly charmless but ruthlessly efficient H.I Express places. As long as you're only here to sleep it's fine. Canning Town area is depressing so this is definitely NOT a hotel for holiday - good for business or going to the O2.

Hi All, Me and my fine lady stayed here to do tourist stuff and shopping. Nice quiet location and 1 tube to town and took twenty minutes (not too busy). Hotel has free buffet cooked breakfast for all, did not know from bookings so sweet. Staff helped us photocopy for free, nice, but no free net. 8/10

Handy for the DLR but a little out of the way. Free breakfast OK but nothing special. Staff friendly. Bed a bit soft and only a small double. For some reason we were allocated a disabled room which we were not told when we checked in but it was only one night so we didn't ask to change.

We had to turn up early as we had a birthday party to attend but despite phoning the evening before they weren't able to give us an early room and so we waited in the lounge while they prepared a room. Whilst we waited they gave a room to someone else and so we had to just get changed in the bathroom and go to the party. Later when we got back afterwards […] they then informed me that they only had a twin room for myself and my wife. Service is not what it should be here and I would recommend you look somewhere else.
