Mich hat es dienstlich nach Fort Saskatchewan verschlagen, und ich bin mittlerweile dreimal im Hospitality Inn abgestiegen. Ein neues Hotel, sehr gepflegt und mit sehr nettem Personal. Vermittelt familiäre Atmosphäre. Gutes Preis/Leistungsverhältnis. Ich habe nichts auszusetzen. Allein Fort Saskatchewan ist, zumindest im Winter, kein Ort, der zu längerem Verweilen einlädt.

Ziemlich abseit, es hat jedoch einige Restaurants in der Nähe. Nur Morgenessen erhältlich im Hotel. Guter Arbeitsplatz schnelles Wifi.

Unser Zimmer war sauber und sehr ruhig. Wir waren 2 Nächte im West Edmonton Mall Inn, haben uns wohlgefühlt und würden das Hotel wieder buchen. Das Personal war freundlich und kostenlose Parkplätze waren in ausreichender Zahl vorhanden. Auf dem Zimmer waren ein Flatscreen Fernseher, Kühlschrank, Bügelbrett und Bügeleisen. Gefehlt hat ein Safe. Surfen im Internet per WLAN war leider nur gegen Gebühr möglich. Schade, denn viele Hotels bieten dies inzwischen kostenlos an! Frühstück gab es keines. Man konnte aber gut in der Mall frühstücken, z. B. bei Alberts, einem Frühstückscafe direkt im Eingangsbereich.

I think this is the only boutique hotel in Edmonton and its close to the downtown core so its convenient if you don't have a car. The breakfast is great and staff was great too. I would stay here again.

my stay at the matrix was better than previous hotels. we got upgraded which was most appreciated having 2 children with my mother and i. the only downfall was that they booked me into a single king room when i had requested 2 double beds. the hotel was booked up that weekend so we never got the seperate beds despite my complaint. all in all, it worked […] out very well and was completely satisfied with the hotel itself. will definately stay again! "Anniversary Getaway"
My husband and I booked two nights at the Matrix for its convenient downtown location and updated modern decor. Though we did not encounter them often, all the staff we dealt with was very professional and efficient. The bed was pretty firm -- ok for me but not for my husband. "Matrix in Edmonton - family weekend"
My 21-year old son and myself stayed there over Thanksgiving weekend. Overall, we found the room pleasant, exept for the bathroom door, which was a sliding one. Not great for intimacy! It was very noisy on Saturday night as there were groups of youths sharing rooms, one of which was next door to ours. I was awaken at 3:30 am by people talking very loud. […] Before I could fall asleep again, someone pulled the emergency lever at around 4:00. Luckily our floor was not evacuated, but we waited around for a while not sure if we had to go down in our pj or not! Not the most restful night. I really enjoyed breakfast and the wine / cheese tasting. Staff was very courteous and helpful. The apples on the reservation counter is a nice touch. Mehr

We stayed 2 nights and really enjoyed the complimentry breakfast which to our surprize even included eggs, breakfast potatoes and a wide selection of hot beverages (not just the regular fruit, toast and cereal other places offer). "Will stay again and again"
We love this hotel, and can see why Expedia users would rate it so highly. They have great perks (free wine and cheese, free hot breakfast), super comfy rooms, and amazing service. We've stayed at the Matrix 4 times now and plan to be back again soon.

Lovely hotel and quite possibly the friendliest staff I've ever encountered. Only complaints I would have (and I'm really nitpicking here) are that the elevators are a little slow and the bathroom lights are very bright and don't have dimmers.

I loved Matrix. The breakfast was huge and fantastic; the bed was comfy, the bath was spotless and laid in it forever; and my husband made use of the fitness centre. Great staff, beautiful furnishings, very clean.

We have stayed at the Matrix in Edmonton for 3 or 4 visits now when we go shopping in Edmonton for a Holiday. The staff is always helpful, and our little dog has come to love riding up and down the elevator. The included breakfast is superb, when we stated dissapointment at running out of croissants, the manager brought some to our table for us. The […] cereal bar makes a great night snack, too. I love the Matrix. I stay there on every occasion I am in Edmonton, and love it every time. The hotel is very modern, with great decor in all the rooms. It's has a new, fresh feel to it, compared to some older hotels that are still stuck in the 80's. Great Hotel to stay at, free breakfast was good. Room was nice however, there is limited parking An overflow lot on the side has limited backing out space especially when you have a large pickup truck..otherwise great hotel.

There was no blankets on our bed. Said none of the 4th floor had blankets unless asked for. Very very weird!! T.V. did not work!! Even thought the T.V. was advertised as part of the hotel pkg. we did not receive a refund. UnpleaSANT stay mainly because of the bed.

I found the Matrix to be an excellent hotel - small and newly updated it provided me w/everything I needed. The complimentary Sunday breakfast buffet was great.

It is a very pleasent hotel, situated very well in the Jasper Avenue/downtown area. I found the wireless network speed in the rooms quite painful, but apart from that a very nice hotel.
The breakfast buffet is not great and the staff very slow and not too bright.

This place was great! it was super classy and the beds were sooooo comfy!! We were going to a concert at rexall place and it was super convienent for us! we took the LRT which was literally right around the corner, took us straight to rexall place in less than 10 minutes and then took us straight to oil city roadhouse coming home which was the bar we […] wanted to go to after! and it was also just right around the corner from the hotel! we really loved every aspect the free wine, breakfast and LOCATION LOCATION LOCATION. we'll stay here everytime we come to edmonton! super stay! This is the hotel that we always stay whenever we are in Edmonton and the services and location are very convenient for us. The only negative point during last stay was Air Conditioning as it was not working properly whether due to maintenance issue or something else, I do not know. "Great downtown location"
The Matrix is a great hotel in downtown restaurant. We like the rooms and the big king size bed. The complimentary wine tasting is a nice touch and they the Wildflower Restaurant is one of my very favorites all time. I highly recommend it.

Overall the hotel was pleasant. The pull out sofa did not have a mattress, but one was brought up fairly quickly.

Matrix hotel is an OK place in a slightly dull and dubious area. Like all hotels in Edmonton it is seriously overpriced. Matrix doesn't give any airmiles credits. The hyped wine and cheese is nothing special -- dull cheddar cubes and cheap plonk. Rooms are Ok but have a very annoying satellite TV system that requires constant fiddling.

Love this hotel. Have stayed there many times. Great full complementary breakfast. Be aware that they host many weddings and Fridays and Saturday's could be noisy at night time in the hallways.

I was there for taste Edmonton downtown. Its a boutique +hip hotel, clean and nice, really good among hotels in Canada. Don't expect it's a resort type and you will be really satisfy for your staying.

This was my first experience staying at The Matrix Hotel in Edmonton, and I can guarantee that it won't be my last. The room was contemporary but comfortable at the same time which is something that tends to be overlooked at some "boutique" style hotels.
