It was really nice. Only dislike was internet service and the couch could've used a shampooing. If you're going to have to pay $150 cleaning fee...the room should be clean. Room was comfy and nice otherwisw though. I'd go back.

It was very inconvenient having to drive two miles down the rode to check in since it was after 5. Also, we had to pay over $100 in fees, that were not mentioned on the advertisement for the hotel stay. One of the tubs in the room was dirty. The movie channel was messed up, and the staff were not very interested in helping us get it fixed. if you dont like to walk so much dont rent it! , the parking lot is across the Street of the buliding so you need to walk trhu, if you parking at 3 floor of parking lot, you need to walk to first floor and then go thru you floor, is way so long, if you are of the beach and you wanna go to the lobby, is long way walking... thats the olny thing i didnt […] like it it all, they cahrge u 45 bucks for acomodation fee, what is acomodation fee___ is for people whos help you with you bags.... nobody did it!, so you havo to do averithing by yourself, no even valet parking for avoid al the walking, customer service desk was a lady very nice, no complaints about her it all! and very helpfull, security guard check everibody wristband to make sure the pool by the beach keep it private....... the guys from the beach rent 2 chairs and umbrela only for resort guess only for 40 bucks at day... i think is eay so exensive i been in other resorts the give u for free just for be a hotel guest.the sayd thay have free wii fi, they do. but only at the lobby thats it! no at the romos, but like i said the lady at the front desk very nice provide me the cable for the intenet for my lapto. the cell pone signal is dead, so you gona feel like you are the room was very nice and clean excep for the master bedroom cartpet it was nasty, but the rest was very nice and clean, nice location, nice pools i love it the kitchen has everithing you need Mehr

Disappointed by what is referred to as a beach resort. The room furniture was old and damaged. The carpets had stains everywhere. The front desk was closed on Saturday afternoon and Sunday morning. No beach towels so we used our bath towels. We asked for replacement towels twice but never got them. You can't charge anything from the tiki bar or Starbucks […] to your room. Overpriced for what is referred to as a resort. I would not recommend this place unless you don't mind everything mentioned above. In fact I will never go back to Panama City Beach again. Mehr

The service was the worst I have ever experienced. After driving all day it was after 4:30 when we arrived so there was not a staff member anywhere. We had to drive somewhere else to check in. We returned to Emerald Beach to go to our room, but our keys didn't work. We drove back to the other location where we were told that new keys could not be made […] until morning. We were sent back to our room and security would meet us to let us in. After an hour of waiting they finally showed up. They determined that the lock was broken and called someone else to fix it. When we entered the room we realized they had put us in the wrong one. I had chosen a deluxe, but this was the most basic of them all. It came with a clogged toilet and holes in the wall. I drove back to the office and was told to go back to a new room and wait on security to let us in because we couldn't get new keys until 10 am. After waiting outside our room and making endless calls to the office I finally noticed security sitting on a bench outside. He had to call the office to find out what was going on and finally let us in our room. All of this took over 4 hours and we couldn't even leave our room together to get food or drinks until 10 am when we finally were able to stand in line for another hour to get keys. I politely mentioned all of our trouble to the front desk worker in the morning. Her response… “That sucks.” I will NEVER stay at Emerald Beach again! Mehr

first of all, the hotel has no free wifi, not like expedia said"free wifi". They charged a different amount 45 dollar, not the same as expedia stated 40. I never see one staff help around anywhere other than checkin desk. Good side is the direct beach access, and nice view.

We had a great time.. there were a few things about the condo.. the sliding glass door going out to the balcony was broken and we had a hard time getting it open and we reported it immediately when we got to the room but maintenance didn't show up until the next day..luckily we had already been able to open it.. also the mattress in the smaller bedroom […] is in very bad shape and very uncomfortable... also the condo needed to be painted really bad.. it looked like someone had been finger painting on the walls .. and the dishwasher didn't work.. Nice stay, but a few things to note...the property itself is a Wyndham Resort and "Emerald Beach" just happens to be on the same property. The services onsite were catered more to Wyndham guest, which can make an Emerald guest feel "second rate". For example, if your keys are deactivated after 5pm, there is no one onsite. For assistance you have to […] go to another property 2 - 3 miles down the road to have them reactivated. Certainly an inconvenience when you're ready to get into your room. I did have a similar experience but on check in. We had all of our luggage and "stuff" in hand only to get to the room and the key was not working. Thankfully it was still during normal business hours but still what a pain! My other concerns were primarily with the unit itself. It was nicely furnished with flat screen tv's and modern decor. HOWEVER, I don't think the comforters on the bunk beds or on the master bed had EVER been washed! Also in the unit, there was no light kit on the ceiling fan nor was there a real lamp in the room. There were 2 night stands with little lamps with output to be classified as "dim" at best. Due to weather, we ventured out to find other activities. If we had spent more time in the condo I think I would have been a bit more agitated. Overall we had a pretty decent stay. For a short stay, it was adequate, but I don't think I would stay at the Emerald again. Mehr

The hotel was nice as well as the room. Great balconies and spacious rooms with good HVAC. Comfy, clean beds and other furniture. Bathrooms were very standard, nothing special. The kitchen was nice but not furnished well at all. Had to go buy a frying pan and spatula. Did have blender, toaster, microwave, etc, that you would expect in a "furnished" […] kitchen. This hotel claims to be a resort and spa but was far from it. Not even so much as a hotel info brochure in the room. The staff was basically non-existing over our 5 days there. Never got fresh towels or turndown service. Thank god for the washer/dryer. The people in the room above us were very loud. It sounded like there kids were having their own Olympics up there from 7am to midnight making it hard to get a good night sleep.. No matter how many times or when I called the front desk, no one ever answered to help. On the beach they tried to charge us $40 per day for their beach chairs which is robbery. They should be included if its really a "resort". We bought our own across the street for $15. Even though there is no cleaning fee, they charge you an extra $40 at check-in as a "hotel fee". What a crock! All in all... A nice room, a decent stay, and horrible service. I actually would stay there again though, I would just arrive more prepared. Mehr

We enjoyed the visit and had a relaxing time on the beach. I do think the resort needs to seriously think about new matresses for the rooms!! I did have a sore back every morning! The carpets can also do with a good cleaning or be replaced.

Overall was very pleased with Emerald Coast Resort. Good Security, Lighting, Pools and Profesional employees. I would reccomend this resort for people to stay in.

Great room and convenient location. Access to beach and pools (adult and kiddie) were excellent. There is a $40 resort fee, not included in the booking fee.

The resort was very nice and clean and overall we enjoyed our stay. The only thing that we did not appreciate was when we arrived at 4:10pm our room was not ready yet. After driving all day it was a little disappointing to have to wait 30 minutes before we could check in, especially since check in time was supposed to start at 4pm.

The condo was clean, tastefully decorated but not enough cookware (1) skillet. Dryer had a bad bearing so when used it disturbed everyone above & below our unit (noise was awful!) Took 4 calls to front desk to get maintenance to show up only to tell us it could not be fixed until the next day. Our view, and the actual Beach were beautiful. The balcony had a table and 2 chairs and a chase lounge. Those were fantastic. The room was lacking in a few areas though.. The master bedroom is right on the hallway, ZERO view, exept if you were a passerby, you could see our entire bedroom, needless to say, we had the blinds closed at all times. (kind […] of dreary for a beach condo) There was no Ipod hookup, and no coffee filters for the coffee maker, and we remembered coffee! We actually slept on the fold out bed in the living room with the sheets from the bedroom, it was more comfortable, and we loved the sound of the beach. Overall, a great place for a great price, we stayed at Calypso last time, and would recommend it much more than the emerald. PCB was a blast. Mehr

The condo was what I expected since I have stayed in similar places before. It was difficult to find the check-in desk which was across the street from the condos. Confused it with Wyndoms check-in. Had to go up the elevator, across the walk, down the elevator, through double doors and up another elevator to get to our room. That was rediculous. Wish […] they would supply a small box of laundry detergent and dish soap so you don't have to buy it for just a couple of days worth. Did not go to the pool. Overall, it was fine. Overall the stay was great except for disappointing feeling towards internet service. I just cannot believe such an upscale condo has no free wireless service. Check in was somewhat difficult. It was across the street from the hotel. Other than at check in, I never saw a hotel employee the whole stay. We were told we had to wear arm bands for security, to prove we were supposed to be there. We were also told we had to keep a dash card visible or our vehicle would be towed. Condo was clean, spacious, modern. Everything we needed was readily available. View was fantastic, beach was fantastic. I've stayed on the St. Thomas Drive end of the beach for many years and I was pleasantly surprised at how the new high rises on the west end of the beach have spruced up the neighborhood. I loved this hotel/condo. The room was clean and very spacious. Awesome view of the ocean from the living room. I didn't even have to go out on the balcony. The layout of the hotel was a bit confusing. One side of the building is Emerald Resorts and the other side is Wyndham Resorts. The really crazy part is that the check-in area,gift shop and Starbucks […] are across the street. Very inconvenient. Yes there is the skybar that connects the two buildings but you have to go to the third floor to get there. Again, inconvenient. The people at the front desk were very nice and helpful, however the housekeeping staff could have been a little friendlier. We ran out of trash bags and asked someone from housekeeping if there were any available and they told us no. Its a hotel, how could you not have trash bags? Aside from that it was a great place to stay. Pier Park is about 3 miles up the street. Good to walk there if you want to check out some of the other shops along the way. Wonder Works and Ripley's Believe It Or Not museum are in the opposite direction. About a 5-10min drive depending on traffic. Overall great experience. Great location. Mehr

The room was relatively clean with the exception of many stains on the carpet. I was pleasantly surprised to have a full kitchen and washer/dryer but also surprised to only get 1 set of towels and only 2 rolls of toilet paper for the week. When we asked for more or new towels we were "encouraged" to wash our own but the hotel didn't provide laundry […] detergent. We were also told that the hotel didn't provide any more toilet paper so when we ran out on the forth day we had to go buy some. Had we'd known about the towels and toilet paper we would've been better prepared. Other than that the location was great right on the beach. Would highly recommend renting a car for any family first timers to Panama City Beach. Lots to do but fairly spread out. Mehr

My hotel room did not have two bathrooms despite the fact that I paid for two bathrooms. It was disgusting with dirty stained carpet. Red stains on the walls from ugly red chairs that went to a table that did not have a top. I called the front desk and complained and they did absolutely nothing. One of the chairs on the balcony was broken. The sofa […] smelled like pee. All and all it was one of the worst hotels I've stayed at for the price that I paid. The person at the front desk practically interrogated me and was very rude. Also, we got locked out of our room late at night because none of our four keys would work and we had to get the resort they are shared with to help us. I will never stay here again and would never recommend this place to anyone. You will get more for your money anywhere else. Mehr

Had a great time! We went there for Spring Break and the rules were pretty strict. We abided by them and still had a gret time! Wish we would have thought to bring dishwasher and laundry soap since you have to wash your own towels. Also wish we would have known that we had to bring our own toilet paper after the first stock ran out.
