Bewertet von einem Hotels.com-Gast am 25. Feb. 2013Auch wenn mein Aufenthalt nur eine Nacht dauerte (EuroLeague-Fußballspiel), war ich sehr zufrieden. Kleines, aber recht ruhiges & sauberes Einzelzimmer. Auch das Hotel an sich liegt in einer eher ruhigen Seitenstraße, obwohl die viel befahrene Via Cavour gerade mal 20m entfernt ist. Da ich mit der Bahn anreiste, war mir die kurze Entfernung (ca. 10 Fußminuten) zum Hauptbahnhof Termini sehr wichtig. Mit dem Frühstück in einem etwas kleinen Raum (3 oder 4 Tische) bei gemütlichem Ambiente war ich ebenfalls zufrieden. Müsli, Joghurt, Ei, Schinken, Marmelade, Honig, Brötchen, Crossants ... dazu Saft & Cappuccino/Kaffee - reichhaltiger geht es für ein 2-Sterne-Hotel mit günstigem Preis wohl kaum noch. Das freundliche, junge Personal an der Rezeption (die Tag & Nacht besetzt ist, so dass man seinen Schlüssel abgeben kann) trug schließlich zu meinem guten Gesamteindruck bei. Der einzige Negativpunkt ist das nicht richtig schließbare Fenster (ließ sich bei Druck leicht öffnen), dafür konnte ich jedoch die Jealousiene außen zumachen und innen die Vorhänge zu ziehen.

Bewertet von einem Hotels.com-Gast am 25. Feb. 2013Ich war nur kurz hier zu Gast, was aber schon ausreichte, um die viel gepriesene Hilfsbereitschaft und Serviceorientierung zu erleben und spüren. Ich konnte bereits um 10 Uhr Einchecken, etwas arbeiten (WLAN zuverlässig), bevor ich zu meiner Abendveranstaltung ging. Am nächsten Morgen musste ich bereits 6 Uhr das Haus verlassen. Problemlos und Frühstück zum Selbernehmen (und EInpacken) gab es auch. "Feel at home!" hieß es am Ende des Herumführens beim Einchecken. Das war auch in der Tat der Fall!

Als ich die Bilder von den vielen schönen Zimmern und den Preis gesehen habe, war ich erst skeptisch, da es zu schön schien, um wahr zu sein. Die Vermieter haben uns dann am Tag der Anreise gleich angeschrieben und uns beim Finden der Pension und der Anreise Tips gegeben. Sie haben uns dann sogar einen Treffpunkt genannt und uns abgeholt. Als wir einmal ein Problem mit dem Schlüssel hatten, haben Sie uns auch sofort geholfen und waren innerhalb von zehn Minuten da. Die Wohnung ist ziemlich weit oben, man muss also einige Treppen hoch, dafür hat man von der schönen Terrasse einen super Blick! Der Rest des Apartments ist auch toll, Fernseher, Sofa, zwei Schlafzimmer mit Küche, in der man sich auch bedienen kann (Geschirr, Töpfe, Salz, Kaffee, Nudeln und Pesto). Das Bad ist ganz frisch renoviert und supersauber. Und man ist mitten in der Stadt! 5-10 Minuten zum Piazza Novana, 20 Minuten zu Fuß zum Colosseum und dem Forum Romanum, 10 Minuten zum Trevi-Brunnen. Alles in allem ein Glücksgriff!

Spanische Treppe - Trevi-Brunnen und Umgebung
Der größte und spektakulärste Brunnen Roms ist der Trevi-Brunnen (Fontana di Trevi). Er ist ein barockes Glanzstück und bildet mit seinen antiken Meeresgöttern und sprudelnden Wassermassen den Mittelpunkt einer kleinen Piazza. Der Brunnen erlangte in Fellinis Film "La Dolce Vita" Unsterblichkeit. Wer eine Münze hineinwirft, bewirkt damit dem Volksglauben nach seine sichere Rückkehr in die Ewige Stadt. Die drei Straßen, die von der Piazza abgehen, führen ins historische Zentrum und zum Quirinal, einem der ursprünglichen sieben Hügel.

Die Lage ist einfach genial, man erreicht alle Hauptattraktionen locker zu Fuß, Restaurants, Cafes und Einkaufsmöglichkeiten sind um die Ecke. Auch die Metrostation ist nur 5 Minuten zu Fuß. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und sehr hilfreich, die Rezeption war 24 Stunden besetzt. Die Betten waren zwar ziemlich hart und die Kopfkissen ebenso, die Räumlichkeiten […] etwas eng und das Frühstück für deutsche Verhältnisse dürftig, für ein verlängertes Wochenende aber durchaus ausreichend. Das Hotel war ideal mitten in Rom gelegen. Der perfekte Ausgangspunkt für eine Städtereise. Die Zimmer waren gemütlich und liebevoll eingerichtet und die Mitarbeiter an der Rezeption immer supernett und zuvorkommend, wenn man Wünsche oder Fragen hatte. A friendly family run business. They couldn't do enough for us. Beautiful decor, fantastic central location within reach of all the major attractions and a good price. "Great central location!"
Fabulously clean. Room was cleaned and tidied each day. Staff were really helpful and friendly. Shower was disappointing, very basic. You have to struggle up 3 flights of stairs if the lift isn't closed properly on another floor. A little noisy, paper thin walls! Plus I booked a smoking room via Expedia but the guest house is a smoking. Brilliant location […] for exploring central Rome, everything is within walking distance (The Vatican is a bit of a trek!). On arrival someone had been smoking in the reception area which is by all the bedrooms. As non smokers this was not a good start. Didn't smell the smoke again so maybe a one off? Used the toilet immediately in the room and the flush breaks every time and need to manually fix it after each flush. Very annoying. Breakfast served in the bedroom which was […] a bit weird but ok once we had got used to it! Stain on the bed cover which wasn't good. Bed and pillows comfy though. Air conditioning good and quiet,small fridge in room and tea and coffee. Location was great lots of restaurants,shops,sights nearby all walking distance. Staff very helpful. This hotel was very well located and was within walking distance of many tourist attractions and was air conditioned and a quiet location as well. It also had a lift to be able to access the room. The room had a very nice decor with a painting and elaborate mirror and contained a good normal double bed which did not accidentally separate into 2 single […] beds in the middle of the night. The staff was very helpful with everything we asked for. We also made use of the free WIFI The advertised facilities did include a buffet breakfast but that was not included at all, instead it was a continental breakfast which was delivered to the room at the requested time. The room was mostly clean except that the sheets did have a fairly obvious stain. The most annoying thing was that whenever the room was cleaned our things were moved to different places. While this was a minor inconvenience, this was the only time in all our travels that we have ever experienced this interference. Overall it was well priced for the location and good service. The location of this hotel is excellent. 3 minutes walk from the Spanish Steps, 4 or 5 minutes from Trevi Fountain, 7 or 8 minutes from the Pantheon. The Colosseum is also within easy walking distance and you see lots of things along the way. There is a metro station round the corner near the Spanish steps but we only used it once as it's nicer to walk […] and see more of the architecture. The room itself was fine. Quite clean and tidy. The mini bar is reasonably priced (for a mini bar). The bathroom was new and modern although the shower didn't drain properly so the tray would fill up and overflow, cascading down the steps from the bathroom into the bedroom area. The only problem we had was that there was a connecting door to one of the other rooms and the first night we were there the people nextdoor were talking loudly and playing some kind of God awful euro dance music and sounded like they were in the room with us due presumably to the thin door. We spoke to the guy on the 24hr reception though and he phoned their room and asked them to keep it down which they did immediately. Worth bearing in mind if you're a light sleeper though. The hotel staff were very helpful overall, telling us where all the sights were, recommending restaurants, etc and minding our bags for us between check out and departing for the airport. The continental breakfast was nice too. Overall I'd recommend this as a great place to stay if you're staying for the weekend and want to be close to everything. Good points: Great location Great breakfast (served in your room whenever you like, many options!) Very friendly and helpful staff Very clean and tidy Bad point: The noise. You could hear every conversation in the rooms around you and were waken up with the sound of the staff making breakfast. "Great location, friendly and helpful staff."
This was me and my wife's first visit to Rome and I cannot believe how lucky we were to have booked this hotel. The location could not be better only 5 minutes from the Spanish Steps, 10 minutes from the Trevi Fountain and around 20 minutes’ walk from the Vatican. It is also very close to the Spagna Metro station which makes visiting locations further […] afield and getting to and from the Fiumicino Airport. The room itself was small but not untypical of descriptions we've heard of other boutique hotels in Rome. That said it was sufficient for our needs of a crash pad to rest our heads in central Rome. The room was clean with an excellent bathroom, air conditioning, free Wi-Fi and best of all a small fridge which allowed us to have chilled bottles of water for our hot days out in Rome. The hotel itself is in a residential block of flats with a very old fashioned small lift (just enough for two people) with the hotel occupying the third floor. It is in a high fashion shopping precinct with a choice of many restaurants nearby. Our recommendation would be a restaurant in Via Della Vite called life.. The staff could not have been more helpful even assisting us in booking tickets online for the Vatican. Breakfast is served in your room with a choice of continental breakfast at a time of your choosing. When we return to Rome we will definitely stay here again and would recommend it to anybody wishing to stay in Rome and is just looking for somewhere to rest their head at night. This hotel is on the 3rd floor and you have to take a very small elevator to access. The front desk is literally in the hallway of the hotel that connects about 4 hotel rooms. So needless to say the receptionist was right outside our door. They do not have space for breakfast so you have to place your order the night before and they bring your breakfast […] to your room. Located in the Fashion District but within walking distance to most of the sights. Only suggestion is to not stay here in the hot summer months. Hotel does not have good air conditioning. My husband and I came down with a cold and instead of staying in the room to relax I found myself extremely uncomfortable in the heat of the room and could barely breathe. "hotel idéalement placé"
Nous sommes partis quelques jours en Février, le rapport qualité/prix à été excellent. L'hotel est très très bien situé, dans une très belle rue chic, et tout est a proximité. abbiamio passato tre notti in questo hotel, situato in una posizione davvero ottima per visitare la città: non abbiamo quasi mai dovuto prendere i mezzi per spostarci. le camere sono davvero pulitissime e la biancheria da bagno viene cambiata ogni giorno ed è di ottima qualità come le lenzuola. il personale è molto disponibile per qualunque dubbio o […] consiglio. volendo essere pignoli le uniche cose un po carenti di questa struttura sono la promessa di una doccia idromassaggio che invece non funziona pienamente ( almeno nella nostra camera seppur avessimo prenotato una matrimoniale superior), la mancanza di insonorizzazione tra la reception e le camere ed una colazione un po povera. in ogni caso consiglio questo hotel e spero di tornare presto MehrAuthentische Expedia-Gästebewertung

Personnel accueillant, serviable, vraiment très gentil.. Et parlant français. La chambre est idéablement situé pour visiter Rome à pieds ou en métro car est très proche de la ligne A.
