Das Mediterranean Inn liegt etwas außerhalb des Zentrums Seattles in der Nähe des Seattle Centers (mit Space Needle). Es ist bequem per Bus (tageszeitabhängiger Preis zwischen $2,25 und $2,50) zu erreichen. Gleich nebenan ist ein Starbucks, dessen Kaffeeduft in die Lobby des Hotels zieht. Unser Zimmer war mit einer Mikrowelle, Spüle und einem Kühlschrank sowie großen Flachbildschirm ausgestattet. Leider hatte es keinen Safe, was aber nicht schlimm war. Das Bad war sauber und groß. Leider ohne Fenster. Der Ausblick aus dem Zimmer ging in den Innenhof des Hotels. Schade aber nicht so schlimm, denn die Dachterrasse des Hotels erlaubt einen Blick über Seattle. Die Angestellten des Hotels machten einen netten und hilfsbereiten Eindruck und haben uns auch um 4 Uhr morgens bei unsere Abreise geholfen. Das Hotel verfügt über WLAN und ein Business Center. Das WLAN ist für $5 pro Tag nutzbar und kann mit einem Fahrradausleihprogramm (in Summe $7,99) kombiniert werden. Im Sommer bestimmt sehr sinnvoll. Das Business Center ist kostenlos nutzbar (ebenso wie die Drucker und Faxgeräte darin). Außerdem verfügt das Hotel über einen Fitnessraum und diverse Münzwaschmaschinen und Trockner). Noch etwas zur Umgebung. In unmittelbarer Nähe (3-5 min zu Fuß) sind diverse Restaurants, Kneipen und auch ein Kino. Ebenso wie ein Safeway Supermarkt.

Die Vorzüge des Hotels sind eindeutig: 1.) Die ausgezeichnete Lage für Reisende die möglichst schnell (ca. 200 m zu Fuß) vom Hotel bis zu Check-In Schalter kommen möchten. Wegen der Kürze des Weges geht das sogar zu Fuß bei Regen ohne Schirm! 2.) Die unmittelbare Nähe (ca. 250 m) zum LightRail Link zwischen Flughafen und Seattle Downtown, wobei die Tageskarte ca. 5$ kostet. Fahrtzeit ca. 35 Minuten. Ansonsten war das Hotel älter in der Ausstattung (ungefähr 70er Jahre Bauzeit) mit einigen Upgrades (z.B. zwei neue Flachbildschirme). Das Standard-Zimmer (Bad, Schlafzimmer, Auftenhaltsraum) war sauber. Die Lounch und der Frühstücksbereich des Hotels gepflegt. Das Frühstück war hingegen nur Durchschnitt, so daß man eher in Seattle Downtown frühstücken möchte. Der sehr Nahe gelegene Flughafen bietet diesbezüglich auch nur wenig an. Einzige Kritikpunkte meines Zimmers auf der Seite zum Flughafen war der laute Straßenverkehr des 'Internationl Boulevard' for dem Hotel (der Fluglärm hingegen war gut erträglich). Und die Klimaanlage, welche in Seattle aber selten nötig wäre, wenn man das Fenster öffenen könnte. Das ging zwar mechanisch problemlos, aber bei dem Straßenverkehr-Krach ... Ich würde das Hotel dennoch weiterempfehlen. In der Summe war es rund.

Die Eastside von Seattle ist einer der wohlhabendsten Bezirke Amerikas. Die Anwesen mit einem Wert von mehreren Millionen Dollar am Ufer des Lake Washington dienen als luxuriöses Domizil für einige bekannte Milliardäre, darunter auch Bill Gates. Mit ihren riesigen Bürohochhäusern und Bankentürmen steht die Skyline von Bellevue Downtown der von Seattle in nichts nach. An der Eastside sind mehrere Hauptfirmensitze angesiedelt, u. a. die von Microsoft, Nintendo of America und Eddie Bauer.
Alle Hotels in Bellevue ansehenKomfortable großzügige Zimmer, unseres mit komplett eingerichteter Küche. Sehr gutes Frühstücksbuffet mit Obst, Joghurt, Müsli etc. Minishop und ebenfalls ein kleiner Starbucks sind auch im Hotel vorhanden. Die Lage ist der einzige Minuspunkt für uns gewesen, da sehr weit vom Innenstadtbereich entfernt (zu Fuß ca. 25 Minuten). "One of the best hotels I've stayed at!!"
This hotel was great. My room had a mini kitchen area with full refrigerator, granite countertops/sink, small table and a also a couch. There was also a great free BBQ dinner and free breakfast in the morning. Staff was very friendly. Will definitely stay here again!!
"Great place to stay"
Staff has been very helpful, rooms clean and well appointed. We didn't have enough time to play, but the kids were impressed with the game room. Breakfast was delicious. Would recommend going to breakfast earlier than later on Sunday morning, it was crowded, but staff had tables cleared as soon as guests moved away from the table.

Loved it
"Warm and cozy"
I stayed here one night with my kids. They loved the place. The room just too overcrowded with furniture and I had a hard time getting stuff in and out of my suitcases. Otherwise, the pool, breakfast, bed, location, staff were all very good.

My husband and I really enjoyed the large buffet breakfast and the room was wonderful! The only negative was that the bed was hard as a rock! I love a firm matteress, but we literally woke up and both commented on how sore our necks and back were.

This hotel was nearly new and was very clean. Staff members were all polite and friendly. Our room with the kitchenette was very comfortable and clean and quiet for the most part - there was a slight road noise from the highway. The daily breakfast was very generous with just about anything you could want. Would stay here again.

Bellevue is a beautiful city! Our room was delightfully appointed. Unfortunately, neither of us were able to sleep well due to uncomfortable beds and a thermostat that was obviously off. (we were too warm to sleep well)

very nice and comfort place to stay. nice breakfast and the service is good as well. One thing though which should be changed: you need to pay extra 10$ per night in order to park in the hotel parking lot and they don't realy leave you any choice. but it was a nice stay overall.

"Love this hotel"
Truly enjoyed it! Free breakfast, free wi-fi... and the kitchen is such a great amenity.... The staffs were great and they had a lounge that had Xbox, Kinect and computers. A must place to stay...
"Home away from home"
Very nice surprise. Great deal for a nice size comfortable room. They should add a food/drink vending machine to each floor and an ice machine for customer convenience but otherwise a perfect stay. I look forward to staying again.

Great hotel....good breakfast....parking spaces tight, but convenient....computers and xbox/WII all in one room which made for great family atmosphere. The staff are friendly and helpful. Michael who worked the front desk is the reason to stay there. He made all the guests feel welcome and had real conversations with you. Great job, Michael!

The Marriott Residence Inn was everything we could have asked for and more. The rooms were spacious and included a full kitchenette with a dishwasher! Very nice furnishings and amenities and a free shuttle service to the Bellevue Square Mall on request. All the staff were super friendly and most helpful. This hotel is a gem: it's sparkling clean, convenient, and comfortable. Everything is new and well kept up. The game room is spectacular if you have kids and need diversion for them. Excellent breakfast; free wine/beer/food in the evening; extremely courteous staff; beautiful rooms with small kitchenette (fridge, microwave, stove, utensils, etc.) DRAWBACK: Parking costs $10/day; very tiny parking spaces; covered spaces get filled very quickly so I have to park on the roof. The room was quiet and the breakfast was one of the best buffets I've seen with real scrambled eggs, potatoes, sausage, biscuits and gravy, waffles, and a choice of yogurts, strawberries, blueberries, granola and other cereals, along with the usual pastries, fresh fruit, milk, juices and coffee. This hotel was very new and modern. Very clean and comfortable. We enjoyed our stay very much. We had a suite with a kitchen and the size of the room exceeded our expectations. The pool and fitness center was wonderful. My son loved the xbox game systems and free access to computers. The hot breakfast buffet is one of the main reasons why we stayed […] there and it was outstanding. My only little complaint would be the parking structure. The spots were very close together. If I had been driving any larger of a vehicle it would have been much more difficult. And twice my key card wouldn't work in opening the gates so I had to go to the front desk to have it reactivated.
