While the gentleman at the desk was nice, the rest of the stay was awful. The towels were stained. The sheets and blanket were stained. The bed was terribly uncomfortable with springs that poked you no matter where you lied. There were only two pillows that were approximately 1" thick. The toilet ran. The carpet was dirty. It was fairly clean, but the air conditioner didn't work very well. The room wasn't hot, but it definitely wasn't very cool. There weren't any ice machines, though there were a couple of ice trays in the refrigerator. They didn't serve breakfast. It was awful!!!! When we went to check in we found that the room had its carpets cleaned earlier that day, it was extremely hot and there was mold growing in several places in the room. Quite disgusting and we are very disappointed that they would even rent a room in that condition! Room was small but adequate. AC had been turned to lowest setting so room initially freezing. Having a mini-kitchen very handy, especially for being able to eat breakfast in room. When I first checked in 6 hours before typical check in time, I knew I was going to be happy. I arrived early on the morning of check in day because I wanted to get ahead of the hurricane that may or may not have been affecting the area. After driving up from Florida and having been awake 24 hours, needless to say I didn't even need to ask to check […] in early. The gentleman at the front desk could apparently see my exhaustion, checked me in at 8:30am and wished me a comfortable rest. I was checked in quickly and proceeded up to my room for much needed sleep. Overall the room was very clean and very comfortable. I noticed upon taking off my shoes that the carpet (clean in a vacuumed sense, mind you), it felt a little sticky. However, in all fairness, being a smoker I had a smoking room. I know the consequences of smoking indoors with virtually no ventilation. Surprisingly though, for a smoking room, it was not smelly. Just the carpet being a little sticky. Tub didn't drain very quickly as a shower was taken, but hey, the water pressure was great and hot!! Work took me to that area and subsequently kept me there an extra day. I was told that the hotel was (over) booked solid for the (Labor Day) weekend when I had inquired about an additional room for my crew that had to come down. Going through Hotels.com I ended up making a reservation for two rooms for the next day. Kept my room and got another. The next day, the clerks made things happen, rechecked me into my room and kept their promise they'd call when the second room became available. And again, allowed my crew to check in early. The location of the hotel could not be better. Plenty of restaurants, stores (especially those types where you may need something while traveling such as Walmart and Target) all within the immediate vicinity. I joked that they should list that as ammenities!! My work had me going all over the VA Beach/Chesapeake/Norfolk area and the hotel was so conveniently located. All in all, the po Mehr

The room is good and rather clean, but the air conditionner is rather noisy. The elevator gets bad smell of cigarette smoking an the hallway leading to the room is too. The carpet is not clean. If you improve that your hotel will be mor clients coming Sincerely

This hotel was cheap...but not even worth the low price. The room was dirty, the bathroom was disgusting (mud on the tub, hair on the floor, etc),and the sheets were like sandpaper. Our "non-smoking" room reeked of smoke so horribly no one could even sleep the first night. OLYMPICS ALL HOTELS WERE FULL THE KITCHENETTS MADE IT EASY TO FEED OUR ATHLETES PLUS THE LOCATION OF THE HOTEL IS GREAT FOR SHOPING AND DINNING EVERYTHING IS WTHIN WALKING DISTANCE . the staff were awesome, the carpet in room needed updating or super cleaning, there were deodorizer discs in a/c causing very strong smell in room, could not get extra pillows, noisy guest leaving at 4 am this lasted for about ten to fifteen minutes doors closing loudly and talking, bed needed new mattress.

If you are desparate for a hotel and have no money, stay here. Very loud and noisy and can hear through the walls. I didn't expect much for the low price per night. Room was sparce, no hangers, chairs dirty and no extra's at all. Blanket on bed needs to be replaced. It's convenient to food and Walgreens and a Starbucks. When we first got there our room wasn't ready, they wouldn't give us another room until our room was ready so we had to waste 4hrs til check in. Finally got the room it was very nice queen bed wasn't aware the small kitchen was included very nice to have as a addition to the room. It made it feel like home and saved us money from buying out food every […] night. The cleaning of the room could have been more thorough including under the bed. but over all the stay was enjoyable, secure, and worth the money for the quality amenities we received Mehr

- Located right behind several $100+/night hotels - VERY low price, almost half of neighboring hotels - clean, quiet, comfortable - kitchen, fridge, microwave inside Perfect. I will be going there time and time again.

For the money its a good deal. The location is great, its near the malls, places to shop, eat and relax. I would recommend this hotel to people who are not looking for alot of luxury or bells and whistles. My only complaint is you have to take out your own trash and there's no front desk service after I think 11pm. The price I paid for the room on a last minute reservation on a Friday was exceptional. each floor could use a ice machine.

For the price paid, I suppose my stay could have been worse, but I'm not sure that I'll stay here again. The whole staff is incredibly friendly and helpful. Also, the rooms are cleaned very well. Parking is easy, free, and abundant. Location is close to the highway and amongst many stores and restaurants. However, the bed, bedding, and pillows leave […] a lot to be desired. Having a comfortable bed at a hotel is important, and it seems that its been years since the beds, bedding, or pillows have been replaced and/or upgraded. Also, I tried out their "fitness center". It was so bad, they really should not advertise that they even have one. Both cardio machines were broken. And the weight machine thing was pretty run down and only half functional. The cleanliness of the room needs improvement. I have a problem with seeing the housekeeper's hair in the shower/it also could've been a lot worst. But, I can't complain as much as I can, I did get a bargain on the room for a couple nights. Sometimes you can't beat a sale!

There was always a group of people standing right outside of the door at all hours of the day and night. Made us feel very uncomfortable. We were put in 3 different rooms. And one of the rooms that had placed us in had a random man sitting on the bed watching TV. Very disorganized hotel!

I had to wait 1 hr to get checked in front desk was helpful, no pots and pans were in the room, tub was dirty, dishes were not cleaned, and front desk closes at 11 which was an inconvience. My room was close to the side door which was like a revolving door because all hours of the night people were going in and out, children running up and down the […] hall, people standing around outside (didn't feel safe), and parking spots were scarce once you move your vehicle. Will not stay again unless I am working construction because they completely took over the place. Oh, I forgot about the commode not being bolted down to the floor I almost fell off of it when I was using it. Mehr
