Not included in price is a cleaning fee and a room bracelet fee. I am not a spring breaker so don't treat me like one. The room was not all that great and the shower lacked any water pressure. Not a place I will stay again

They charge a $45 non-refundable damages fee and a minimum $85 mandatory cleaning fee (depending on what type of room you rent). This is NOT explained on the Hotels.com web site! When we arrived, the paint on the walls of the room we rented was chipped and it was definitely not worth the price we paid, the price PRIOR to being blind-sided by the additional […] fees. The Majestic resort is very nice . HOWEVER, the parking is quite an issue.Very inconvenient, garage is across the street. Cross bridge is on 3rd floor , but as guests you are not allowed to park on that floor. It is like being in a maze from the rooms to garage. The whole experience was amazing! The hotel was everything you could ever want or need. The weather turned out to not be amazing, but the hotel more than made up for it! Definitely would recommend to anyone.

Came for motorcycle rally. Appreciated security around the garage area. Staff helpful in locating streets and restaurants. Thought the cost to clean the room was hefty.

My husband and I visited Panama City Beach for the first time on this trip and choosing majestic was an easy choice. The view, the staff, and the amenities the hotel had to offer were all excellent. The only things that we would ha e changed was one the t.v. in the room was a 27 inch my husband said as far away it was from the bed hurt his eyes to watch, […] for the mass amounts of people that can stay a few more elevators, and the top of our refrigerator was dirty. If it would have been a regular size the average person might not have notice but the top was at eye level and considering you charge an extra cleaning fee that really bugs me. Would definitely refer someone to the Majestic and hope to bring the kids back in the summer to really enjoy and take advantage of everything they had to offer. Thank you for a wonderful stay Mehr

Get ready to pay another $112 in the lobby when you arrive, even if you just stay 1 night, so you pay over $200 per night on this not-big-deal condo, where there isn't internet service and you are barely get signal for your cellphone. To be honest for the high you are pying for this condo you can get better rooms, better hotels, better service and better […] location. This was my first and last time I stay here. The Indoor and semi outdoor pools are boring and parking lot is super far from your room. Hotel was in a great location and very clean. As a college student on spring break, I did not mind the noise. However, I would not recommend this for a family vacation at this time of year. Definitely will keep this hotel in mind again for next year.

The concept was wonderful: full amenties. However, I thought it incredibly ironic that a "cleaning" charge was built in when I had to clean when I got there. While there we were made to wear armbands. I understand the security measures, but to be threatened to be escorted off the property by security and the police called if its not worn. no matter how beautiful the beach is, the hotel leaves alot to be desired....to say nohing of the $112.00 dollar housekeeping charge. Fot two nights, we were charged $112.00 and for that we had to ask for shampoo and lotion. there was no coffee, and NO housekeeping. they only clean after you have left...and then not well. The room was very nice. The only thing i'm truly dissatisfied about is that there was a $45.00 ( non refundable) deposit for damages that i was never told about until i arrived at the hotel. The hotel staff was very courteous.

This condo was perfect for us. I requested 3 bedrooms and 2 baths. The condo had what was requested plus a bonus room with bunk beds. The condo was clean and had everything we needed for our stay. The balcony was laarge and we had a great view of the water and awesome sunsets

Hotels.com made it very clear in the confirmation email that my reservation had been fully paid off along with any taxes and service fees. The hotel still went ahead and forced an additional service fee. One of the bathroom doors did not lock - the latch was out of alignment. This is my first review to Expedia. I felt it had to be written. We had such a poor experience at this hotel. Every encounter we had with the empoyees were unprofessional. In the condo, there was tons of hair on the sheets. All bedding had to be washed! We were exhausted from traveling all day, and now had to wait for the bedding to wash and dry. At […] 4pm the next day, we were having a drink in the outdoor hot tub. We were the only people in the pool area. A security guard told us not to drink in the pool, saying drinks had to be at least 4 feet from the pool. I sat our drinks 10 feet from the pool, got out of the pool each time to take a drink. I handed my wife's drink to her, she took a drink and handed it back to me. The security guard returned, and asked us to leave the pool area. Saying he had been watching us on camera, and saw me hand my wife a drink while she was in the pool. He said if we refused to leave the pool, we would be arrested. We felt disrespected and treated like children, but left the pool. As we were leaving, another security guard dressed in plain clothes, arrived with several children. With such strict rules, why is a security guard bringing several children to use the pool?? We asked for an email address for a manager, the girl at the front desk said he didn't have one and they basically tried to blame the experience on Expedia. We ended up checking out at 3:00 a.m., after being awakened by a screaming man outside. This was the last straw! Wow. Mehr

Very disstaisfied with overall Hotel false presentation with room size and info and hidden fees at the time of arrival. Rude and unhelpful staff. Missing items in condo such as paper, pot and pan and simple kitchen utility. I had much better service and rating at 3 rating condo. WIll not go back to this place again.

Upon arrival the property charged a $45 damage waiver fee; non-refundable. We did not know about this fee until we arrived. The property also charges $10 per day for Wi-Fi and between $.80 and $4.80 per phone (local and long distance). The property was close to the beach and it was safe.

The trip didn't start out well... the entrance was blocked for some kind of construction. NO signs were present to tell people what to do, such as park in the adjacent tower (I thought it was part of another property, so I didn't know I could park there.) When I climbed around the yellow tape, the automatic doors to the check-in area wouldn't open, […] and the clerk was oblivious behind the desk. Finally other people showed up and began banging on the glass door. We figured out from her pantomiming that we were supposed to go around to the side, where an equally unmarked door was open for us to come in through. Really? We were supposed to just automatically know where to go when the check-in parking area was blocked off and the lobby doors wouldn't open? The room, however, was very nice, very clean, with a fantastic view of the ocean. The bed was comfortable, though the living room furniture was a bit old and saggy. The location was pretty good for me, there were plenty of restaurants close by. The biggest downside was trying to figure out how to get from the parking garage to the skyway so I could cross the street safely. Clerk didn't explain it when I checked in. You have to find an obscurely-located elevator and navigate a maze-like "amenities building". Fortunately a friend familiar with the place met me and led me through. Overall a nice stay, good location with a nice room, but I wouldn't count on much help from the staff. Maybe they're sharper during the on-season. Mehr

We loved the location and enjoyed our stay but the lack of reliable wi-fi was very frustrating! $25 for a week of sitting in one place just to get a very weak signal is ridiculous! Work sometimes cannot wait and without wi-fi that is functional, forget it. Other than that, our room was not cleaned the entire stay! The H2O bar and market on the ground […] floor were very convenient for the morning Starbucks and great food and drinks! Will stay there again if back in PCB but hopefully they will find their way into the 21st century so we can get work done and enjoy more beach time!!! Mehr

I'm not one to complain nor am I a picky person; however, I must say the room did not feel clean at all. The floors were so sticky, the bathroom and kitchen area I ended up cleaning myself bc they were not clean. I actually found two pubic hairs in the bath!! The bed felt grity & was very uncomfortable. The hotel was great! Checking in was fast and the employees were friendly. Our room was very clean with up to date furniture and furnishings. We never waited over 1 minute for an elevator and we were on the 14th floor. We will definitely be staying at the Majestic everytime we visit Panama City Beach!!!!

The "good"- beautiful beach, rooms were clean. Parking was convenient, pools and beach were very nice. Nice that they gave a free dvd rental for the kids at night. The "bad"- The initial impression was as suprise $45 cleaning fee, the front desk clerk told me it was required. Said Expedia should have informed me about it, but it was not charged on […] the Expedia site, even though the rest of the trip costs were prepaid to expedia when I made the reservation. Then, the beds were very uncomfortable. My children even complained that their bunk beds were extremely hard. The "free" wifi, and even cell phones only worked in the hall near the door. The kitchen was missing most of the utensils. Seems nit picky, but it's frustrating to not be able to fry an egg because there is no spatula. Can't make coffee because there are no filters with coffee maker, etc. All in all, I was fairly disappointed. It seems like the furnishings were all just a little "tired". Mehr

We arrived 10/5/12 with four of our close freinds. We were greeted and checked in by an efficient and freindly staff. The rooms were more than we expected, the ocean view was great. The market had all the thing we forgot plus many other items including a great breakfast and internet. The H2O bar was perfect, great food and drinks, especially the Grouper […] Sandwich and lots of cold beer and drinks. Nick is and outstanding Bar Tender. From the looks of the hotel when we got there I was excited. When we checked in I found out that I was being charged a NON-REFUNDABLE damage deposit. I had booked this hotel through Hotels.com and it did not make me aware of this charge. The employees at the front desk were less than hospitable when I went to the desk to get a receipt for the charge. […] In general, the employees weren't very friendly either. The carpet in the main living area was stained rather bad and there was mold in the corners of the bathroom by the tub. We were in room 715 which was by the elevator and could hear the elevator all night long. The price of the drinks at the restaurant/bar downstairs was astronomical. The Starbucks restaurant was to open at 6:00 a.m.. I was there at 5 minutes until 6:00 and it didn't open until 6:17. It was just an overall bad experience. Great view of beach from balcony. Pools seemed clean. Indoor pool was heated. Outdoor pools were cold for first week of October. The only complaint I have is they market themselves as smoke-free facility, but allow smoking on the balconies. We found that out when we arrived there.

Resort as a whole was great, so was the condo. Food and drink prices were a little steep, but I guess you pay for convenience. The only complaint about the condo was the bed - very uncomfortable. Otherwise it had everything you could need and was nicely decorated.

Apart from the great location of the hotel everything is just an average stay. Name (Resort) is just misleading as I did not find any "resort" like amenities included with your stay !.

Incredible hotel! Great view! Very clean. Very easy to just walk out of hotel and walk to beach. The hotel let you rent dvds which was great. Unfortunately of the 4 we rented 3 were so scratched that the movies were unwatchable. Another bad spot is that there is a bar right beside the outdoor pools which unfortunately attracted people who cant handle […] themselves and don't monitor what they say around kids. We booked the Majestic through Expedia..We really enjoyed our stay! -Check in was easy. Our room wasnt ready when we got there but they went ahead and gave us our parking pass and hotel IDs so we could start relaxing..The front desk called us when our room was ready! -The room was just as we expected although we were suppose to have a washer/dryer but […] not a big deal on this trip. We booked a studio which was plenty of room for the 2 of us.There was some trash left in our room and we had no paper towels but thats about the only complaint. We were on the 4th floor in tower 1 right next to an elevator..perfect location. -The hotel ammenities were wonderful. The gym has plenty of equipment and is well maintained. The pool area is really nice. The H2O bar was opened for our stay and the food was good. -Our room also came with free DVD rentals..They had a pretty good selection. -They was plenty of security -The location of the hotel is wonderful..Close to everything!! We will definitely stay here the next time we visit PCB We had no trouble with the elevators being slow..we actually thought they were pretty quick!!! Mehr
