I think this was a great hotel. I agree with the other reviews. The staff was very nice and curteous. I didn't get a chance to use the pool but the outdoor space was really nice. I wish I had more time to stay there.

My family and I stayed a night at Staybridge suites on March 16, 2013. We were quite impress with the staff from the first meeting in the lobby for check in and heading to our room; we found all the staff we encountered to be very pleasant. I can say we have never experienced until this time where all the staff behaved as if they were happy for you […] to be a guest in their hotel. The room decor was very nice. Loved the plantation blinds! Most importantly, the bed was very comfortable and we had a wonderful night sleep. The hotel is in walking distance to the various stores Target, Old Navy, Dilliards, etc. and several restaurants and fast food stops. We would recommends this place to our family and friends. Mehr

I came to StayBridge last weekend for a business trip in nearby Shorter, AL. I found the staff to be exceptionally courteous and good-natured. The room was very clean, the amenities were excellent. While I was not able to stay for breakfast in the morning, it looked and smelled wonderful as I passed by it on the way out. Overall, a great stay!

We only stayed one night. Hindsight the Hampton Inn across the street was probably better for an overnight stay. This hotel was very nice though and very kid friendly with the extra room. The area is very nice as well with lots to do within walking distance.

Wonderful for an overnight stay on our way home from Christmas break. I could actually live here. The staff was so friendly, and the fireplace in the lobby as well as the outdoor patio made for a cozy atmosphere. Light supper was served, with wine and beer, as well as a really nice hot breakfast in the a.m. Room was spacious, all the comforts we needed, […] including free use of the washer and dryer. The hotel was clean, my room was large, and the staff was all very polite and assisting. I enjoyed the breakfast buffet, which had a nice variety to choose from. Everything was super except this one maintenance guy who made my wife and I very uncomfortable. Initially, he came across as friendly but went on to make very unprofessional comments that made my wife very uncomfortable. Because of this, we ended our stay 1 day early.

The staff were informative and helpful . The entire facility was clean and well maintained. The buffet breakfast was hot with many choices for every appetite. We were there during inclement weather and the staff alerted all the guests of the conditions.

I really enjoyed my one night stay. The hotel was easy to find. It's about a mile off I-85. I didn't check in until 9 pm and I left before dawn so I can't really say what the property looked like outside. In the dark it looked nice enough. I drove by at least a dozen nice restaurants on my way from the interstate. Finding a good place to eat should […] be a snap. Checking in and out was a breeze. The staff I met were very nice and helpful. The room I booked was a studio suite. I had plenty of space and it included a kitchenette, couch, a 32" LCD TV and a nice bathroom. The room was clean and comfortable. The bed was also comfortable and I slept well. The AC unit kept me nice and cool. The room was cool when I arrived and stayed that way without me adjusting the thermostat. I will definitely stay here again next year when I return for the same race. Mehr

We ended up here because of the price and location and really lucked out. The staff was very friendly. The hotel is located near a mall and restaurants, in an area just off the Interstate. We had two stays at the Staybridge Suites during our voluntary evacuation from New Orleans for Hurricane Isaac. Both times when we arrived at the hotel, the reception and staff were very welcoming, like we were friends or relatives and not just guests at a hotel. Joe Muggs Coffee at Books a Million is better than Starbucks for taste! Back to the hotel, there is a fairly small but very clean pool at the back of the hotel and a big pond which provides a great view for all rooms on this side. The hotel is very clean, our room was very clean and comfortable. One room was open, but with a kitchen area and the other room was a suite and had doors between the rooms. I thought the young man at the front desk during check-in was a little short, borderline rude. I tried to go to the breakfast but it was not set up and they were nice and friendly. So, all of the staff was not bad ...........

I usually stay at Hampton Inns when traveling but I was amazed by the room and price for my weekend stay in Montgomery Al. WIll def be searching for Staybridge locations for any further travel plans.

we were on our way to Pensacola and spent the night in Montgomery. The Hotel was beautiful, the service great and the room was spacious and the bed comfortable. The breakfast in he morning was very good. If I ever come back to this area I would definitely stay there again.

The hotel was clean, quite, with a relaxing pool area. The king suite was comfortable and contained more than what we needed. The location was great. Dillard’s, Target, Kohl’s and Old Navy in walking distance (but we would drive). Also a slew of restaurants in walking distance. The hotel’s breakfast was good and the staff friendly. We will be back…

My husband & I were disappointed because we did not get the room we paid in advance for. We never even got an apology. When we checked out they tried to bill us twice even though we had paid in advance. Then they gave us our bill which turned out to be another guests bill with our name on it. Beautiful hotel. I spent time in the inside 'great room' and quite a while out on the pool terrace. I was in a studio suite and it was really big and comfortable. The breakfast buffet was top-notch. Staff was very friendly and made me feel right at home. I was not there for the weeknight receptions, but during my stay they had an open social event planned […] every night M-Th. The pool terrace, professionally landscaped and overlooking a small lake, with all sorts of sitting areas, outdoor fireplace, etc., had a sort of 'resort' feel to it. There were a few of us doing our "deskwork" out there--just needed the pina coladas to make it complete (alas, it was still too early in the morning)! The neighborhood is new development, mix of retail and residential, upscale. All in all in all, a super hotel and a great stay. Huge bang for the buck. Mehr

The hotel was absolutely beautiful. Cozy living room/kitchen combo with bar and two bar stools, and a separate bedroom with two double beds and bathroom ensuite. I had booked two queen beds, but that didn't matter to us so I didn't complain. The beds were extremely soft. We had a toddler with us and he loved it. He woke up the next morning saying "hotel […] so beautiful mommy." We had three groups of people over during our three night stay and everyone was so impressed. I asked the hotel the night before to please take out our trash between 8 and 9 the next morning as we were going to have people over but they didn't do it. However when I called at 9:30 they did it right away before our guests arrived. My sister and her bridal party got ready in our hotel room the day of her wedding and the hotel was very accommodating letting us come down to borrow scissors, thread, etc. the moment we asked for it. There is even a free laundromat down stairs. The outdoor heated pool is gorgeous but we didn't have a chance to use it. The breakfast was alright--I've had better, but it wasn't bad. The location is superb being only a 5 minute walk to Montgomery's nicest shopping center--Eastchase, including shops like Target, Kohls, Old Navy, JoAnn Fabrics, Dillards, Victorias Secret, and much more. Eastchase restaurants include Chilis, Red Robin, Panera Bread, Chick-Fil-A, Wendy's, and much more. I think this might be the best hotel experience I've ever had, and I travel a lot! Mehr
