Customer service wasn't all that great in the beginning but it got better after one phone made to the manager

In town to visit a client for the first time and I was unclear where to stay. The photo of this hotel caught my eye and the location next to La Cantera let me know I was near a very nice area. The hotel was " happening'"! It's across from UTSA and there were families in the hotel visiting their college kiddos, other business travelers and some foreign […] exchange students., There is a Social hour every night with music and a great hustle and vibe. I usually got back too late to have time to enjoy, but coming throug the lobby and hearing everyone talking and laughing was nice. My room was quite and cozy and the staff were SO nice. They have a shuttle that will take you to nearby places and pick you up. Workout facility had great equipment. I was able to entertain clients each night at very nice restaurants at the Shops of La Canterna and be back to hotel in less than 5 minutes. This place is either for the business traveler if you need a place in NW SA or pleasure (Fiesta Texas is right down the road). I will be staying here again. Mehr

This hotel was further from some the things I wanted to see. The kitchen had not been cleaned. Bed was soft.We will never stay there again.

The location of this hotel was perfect. We had a great stay. The front desk staffs was very helpful and friendly. Our room were very clean. Although our room is equipped with a functional kitchen, refrigerator and microwave, we didn't need to use them because they provided us with free hot breakfast each morning. The hotel is in a great location, it's near the mall a CVS you can walk to and lots of restaurants down the highway. The rooms are a good size, microwave, fridge, stove and two televisions. Also has a dvr so you can rent movies from the red box at CVS. The room wasn't very clean. It states that they do light cleaning on the weekend and clean during […] the week. Well it looks like that didn't happen. Hair was all over the floor and sheets and some of the towels. They obviously don't vacum the rooms, hallways, and the elevator. Immediately when you step onto the elevator there are crumbs and debris all over the floor. I expect a hotel to be clean. The only bright side was a helpful young man named Jose. Other than that I wouldn't recommend staying here. They have free hot breakfast but you can get that at another hotel that prides themselves on being clean. Mehr

We loved the two bedroom suite perfect for our family of four. With 3 Tv's no one fought over what to watch. Very close to upscale mall and University. Friendly staff.

The hotel room was very comfortable but the shower curtains were very dirty and the bed sheets had a brown stain. It look like a burn. Cleanliness will be my only complain.

Wonderful! The desk staff was very helpful, the room was perfect (even had a small kitchen and coffee-maker that made delicious coffee). Room would have been considered a studio apartment in Helsinki. Breakfast was well-provisioned and tasty, with lots of options for lactose-intolerant and vegetarian guests as well as the traditional eggs-and-bacon. […] Coffee was, again, delicious. The hotel operates a year-round shuttle to Fiesta Texas; we were the only ones wanting to go, and they drove us there and back within 7 minutes of our request. I so wanted to stay here for the location. We were very disappointed with the service. The electrical outlet in our bath area wasn't working which is where the blow dryer is located. We made three phone calls speaking with three different people that all sounded as if they were going to have someone come and fix this problem. Needless to say we were […] there for a week and no one came in to even look at it. Fortunately, I was able to take the dryer from the wall and dry my hair in the bedroom without even a mirror. That being said, we will not stay here again. I do like Staybridge Suites so we will probably find a different one and give it a try. Mehr

I was pleasantly surprised at the spacious size of the room. The location was excellent for shopping at La Cantera and enjoying Six Flags Fiesta Texas. It was clean and the staff was wonderful.

The breakfast buffet got a little crowded at times, but otherwise it was comfortable and pleasant. I would come again. A nice jogging road over to Six Flags and not far from a big shopping area off of I-10.

Overall pleased with location and cleanliness. Staff was friendly, exceptinally so. Only downside is the walls are a little thin could hear the people above me clearly but was quiet during sleeping hours.

we stayed with our 3 year old grandaughter here, The hotel staff was amazing and helpful, they met our every request with smiles, I have never stayed in a hotel with so many pleasant people. Even at 1030 pm at night when she wanted milk the front desk got it for us no problem. The hotel rooms are big and spacios, the kitchen set up is amaing and had […] everything we needed to prepare meals, The room was clean, as was the pool. The breakfast will serve all tastes. I booked a suite (2 bedrooms 2 baths) the large window in the one bedroom leaked huge amounts of rain water. Massive!!! Staff did not seem to care, offered us nothing. We had to use all the bath towels and then beg for more. We were there 3 nights room semi cleaned once. Checking out the girl asked at the desk if everything was ok, I said no not really […] and she said thank you. Could have cared less. Also, no coffee in room for second day, because of no cleaning. AC was not working good but could be because of window leaking. Black mold will be growing soon. Pricey for what it was. Will not stay there again. Mehr

Very clean, comfortable beds, and breakfast from available till 10:30 a.m. If traveling with family, it is close to Fiesta Texas and Cantera Mall. Stayed only 1 night but plan on returning again. We really liked the hotel.

This is the second time we've stayed here and we'll defiinetly stay again. The rooms a large, clean & attractive. The staff were all frendlly & helpful. Good breakfast & nice variety, including hot items. Really close to La Cantera & The Rim shopping and Six Flags. Great golf courses in the area too. Easy access to 1604 and a 20-30 minute drive to the […] Riverwalk. If you don't mind a short drive, we like Rudy's Barbeque in Leon Springs and El Chapparal mexican in Helotes. Mehr

The hotel was great, loved the ammenities and the staff was friendly. The one thing that stuck out as a little gross was a really bad ring around the toilet stain in the room we had, not sure if it was the result of a strong cleaner left there too long or what but it was a sore sight for an otherwise clean room.

Excellent service. Traveling with kids so shuttle to Six Flags and the RIM saved us time. Breakfast was great. It is very conviniently located right on Loop 1604. Will stay again.

We stayed here for a night during a 2 day trip to Fiesta Texas. It was less than a 5 min drive to the park. The hotel was great! The one bedroom suite was spotless, I was not expecting the full size fridge and little kitchen with dishes and utensils. Will definetely recommend this hotel to anyone that is staying in visiting Fiesta or the surrounding area. Very convienent to our daily destination @ the Rose Palace and also to downtown San Antonio.
