The stay was good. when we got there it was crazy because i asked for a kimg and they gave me a double but they fixed and the rest of trip was great..

Room and service were great. Location not so great. Hotel parking was slightly an inconvenience. Not much in the immediate area surrounding the hotel, but sunset station did provide a shuttle. Breakfast at the hotel was good, variety wise.

the hotel was very convienent to everything. close to the highway . close to restuants. and close to bar/clubs. plus the hotel it's self was very clean and roomy.

Broken elevator made upper floor access aggravating. Poor stairs design left little choice but to wait for the elevator. Otherwise great access to Alamodome and reasonable access to riverwalk

Stayed here overnight. I personally don't find the parking as a disadvantage as other review. The hotel parking lot is small (only 10+ spots), but the extended parking lot is a block away in Amtrak station and only 3 minutes walking along the drive way. The suite room comes with a small kitchen, a bedroom, and a small living room which was wonderful […] for the price. We had 3 people so one sleep on the sofa bed and two other sleep on the bedroom bed. The sofa bed was decent and comfortable. The kitchen was fully equipped with utensils and dishes. The front desk has DVDs and boardgames to borrow for free. Mehr

I'm starting to become a big fan of Staybridge Suites! The rooms are always clean, comfortable and large...perfect for families. The value is great for the price. I love having a full kitchen in the room and during the week they have complimentary evening receptions with food, beer and wine.

Our room was small, with cramped kitchen and with very dirty carpet. Our infant was sick all 3 days when we were there. Faraway from river walk. Not a 3 star hotel. Breakfast was alright. Parking was free but have to walk two blocks.

The Staybridge Sunset Station is only two or three blocks from the Riverwalk, and very close to the Alamo, etc. It was clean, comfortable, convenient, and friendly and at less than half the price of hotels on or near the Walk. My wife and I found it to be very nice and definitely recommend it for anyone visiting San Antonio; especially if you are wanting […] to see the sights that S.A. is famous for. This is the second time I stayed at this hotel and the staff was did an awesome job of accodomating my son who has asthma. The room smelled of smoke and they used an ozone machine to clean the air. The hotel was very nice and the accomodations were wonderful. The location was perfect for going back and forth to the riverwalk and night time festivities.

Just unbelieveable! Expecting a king sized bed... not a completely stocked condominium! The greatest 5 hour layover I've ever spent anywhere!

This hotel had exactly what I was looking for! The AC was extremely cold, the water in the shower extremely hot, and the bed nice and cozy! Plus, they had free burgers in the hospitality area as soon as we checked in!

the front desk manager was rude, acted as if she was being bothered by us showing up and with our questions. the location was bad, in no where land. the parking was bad, the carpet in the room was stained... overall our exeriance was not good at all.

This hotel is close to the Riverwalk, close to transportation to get anywhere you want and close to shopping and restaurants. Security around this hotel is very good.

We stayed at this hotel because this is where the bride arranged for out-of-towners to stay. It was perfect! We were able to catch a bus right across the street for all of the tourist attractions, purchase an all day pass right at the front desk, and the best part was that the wedding reception was right across the street and stumbling distance from […] the hotel! Several of our party even walked to the river walk with no problem. I would recommend the Staybridge Suites Downtown at Sunset Station to all of my friends headed to San Antonio, TX. Good view of the city. Only a short walk to Riverwalk but, had to travel across interstate traffic.

I really recommend this hotel, the service is good, the condition is really great, the rooms are big, flat screen and the free breakfast is really really nice. Thank you Staybridge Suites

This place is great for couples, families, singles...EVERYONE!!: beds very comfortable, lots of space in the room, and FREE breakfast and parking! Very close walking distance to Riverwalk just a few blocks. Great location, you can explore downtown with out having to deal with driving your car and try to find parking. We loved the hotel and plan to stay […] at this hotel every time we come to San Antonio. Spent a couple weeks looking for the best deal during the busy festival weekends on other websites and this site always had the best deals. Mehr

Hotel is perfectly located inbetween my family 's house and the riverwalk. We had a great time there. Dislikes: elevator rug stinks and needs to be changed. Hallways needs to be vaccuum.

This hotel has an excellent, friendly staff. The double suite was amazing and had gorgeous views of downtown San Antonio. Definitely will stay here again!

I stayed at the staybridge suites for 4 nights. The Level of customer service was outstanding! I have never experienced better service. Everyone from the front desk to the happy hour staff was courteous and polite. But it went farther than that. They were actually helpful, volunteering information on a topic we were discussing. For most people now, […] you have to ask exactly what you want to know and they will give you nothing else. They have done something right at this hotel. I dont write reviews bc i think that most of the time workers or management write them, but this time i felt i had to. The hotel is great if you are having a conference at the conference center (7 min walk). Oh, and they have a great happy hour on mon-thurs. I give it an A+. Mehr

FREE BREAKFAST WAS GREAT EASY TO DOWNTOWN RIVERWALK. sTAFF WAS HELPFULL PLAN TO STAY THERE AGAIN.

The parking was far from the hotel which was an inconvenience .

The Staybridge Suites was just a couple of blocks from the Riverwalk--a short walk for sure. The rooms were very nice and clean. The complimentary breakfast was wonderful with both hot and cold food--well stocked! We would absolutely stay here again! What a value!

Will stay there again - this time with family.

This hotel has a small kitchen and it quite comfortable. Nice managers reception and breakfast in the morning. Pool is small and there is no hot tub. Not much in the surrounding area, only 2 restaurants within walking distance.

Well the place was everything I expected. It was very nice and roomy, very close to downtown, the only thing was that we had reserved two rooms to be side by side or at least in the same floor and when we checked in they told us they werent able to not any rooms available :( Oh well but other than that I will definitely recomment this place and will […] stay here again! I would recommend this hotel to others. When I first arrived I realized my door wouldnt lock but the maintenance guy came right away and fixed it. Definitely would stay here again

The hotel is on the east side of downtown San Antonio but is less than a 10-minute walk to all the sights (Alamo, etc.), for less than the big-name hotels in the center of town. It was very comfortable, the staff was knowledgeable and polite, and the breakfast was great. The only lack we could see was a TV schedule for the HBO channels and a correct […] lineup in the folder. The hotel quality and service actually exceeded my expectations. My only problem was we requested a crib and they did not have any available when we got there (we went during Spring Break and the hotel was at capacity). If we had any idea there would not be a crib available, we would have brought our own. So we ended up having to go buy a cheap one […] at Walmart (which was not too far away). We were in the one bedroom suite. This is ideal for us because we have little ones that go to bed early and my hubby likes to stay up late. So he could watch TV or play on his computer in the living room area. There was also a small kitchen with a full size fridge and ice maker. A few dishes (plates, glasses, silverware) were also provided as well as a few pots and pans (although we did not ever use them). There was a decent breakfast although the "hot" breakfast consisted of making your own waffle or a scrambled egg substance of some sort (seriously, I have no idea what it really was). But they also had the usual (cereal, muffins, bagels, toast, juice, coffee....) as well as fresh fruit and yogurt. Parking was a little crazy. There are only a few spots right near the hotel. They have a lot about 1/2 block away-however with it being Spring Break that lot would fill up too. They had another lot you could park at but only if the other 2 lots were full. And the parking attendant would have to specify which spots you could park in. I did not mind the extra walk to the parking lot, it was a pain to have to check 2 lots first and then be told where to park (got a little frustrating after a long day walking around). The hotel is right near downtown and the Riverwalk, but I would not walk there (especially with little ones) because you had to walk under I-37 to get there. Of course this means you also have to pay for parking downtown if you go over there. The front desk said there was public transit available, but I did not check into it. Not immediately downtown, which was nice, we did not have to worry about the horrendous traffic. Staff, cleanliness, and surrounding area were all great.

We loved our stay! We were happy about the room size and were also happy with how clean and well maintained the rooms were. The only drawback to the room was the loud air conditioner, the loud ice maker (which we shut off for the night), and the tub that doesn't drain during showers. I would have liked better coffee service in the room (only powdered […] creamer available), however I could have fixed the situation myself by simply bringing up some liquid creamer from the breakfast area. The breakfast was good too - very simple but filling. The walk to the Riverwalk was about 10-15 minutes, but the area is not bad and actually the walk is a pleasant one. Parking for our car was little far, luckily my husband was willing to run and get it so we could all load up in front of the hotel. We would definitely stay here again! Mehr

The hotel was great. It was clean, modern and had all the extras, like refrigerator, burners, microwave, TV, DVD...etc. It was in a good area, and only four blocks from the mall and main river walk restaurants. It was the only one we could find with free parking, which can save you a lot on a long or short stay. The free full breakfast was fantastic. […] The pool and exercise room were also very nice and clean. The staff were very helpful and friendly. I will go out of my way to tell others about this place and I will be coming here again. Mehr
