Das Hotel war super, nur ein paar Stationen bis zur Oxford Circus und dem erstaunlichen Westfield Shopping Center auf der anderen Straßenseite. Große Zimmer mit hervorragender Ausstattung, vor allem sehr ruhig. Das Personal war unglaublich hilfsbereit. Das Hotel hat alles, was man für einen City-Trip nach London braucht. Frühstück nahmen wir nicht in Anspruch, dafür gab es alles nah in der Umgebung. Für Selbstversorger bestens geeignet.

"Super Preis-Leistungsverhältnis"
Wir waren nicht nur positiv über den günstigen Preis, sondern auch über das tolle Hotel und das freundliche Personal überrascht. Die Zimmer sind klein und einfach, aber gut. Das Hotel ist zudem ziemlich neu. Der Bus fährt direkt vor der Haustür ab und die U-Bahn-Stationen sind auch sehr nah. Wir waren mehr als zufrieden.

Lage des Hotels ist in Ordnung, Zimmer für 4 Personen sehr klein! Frühstück verbesserungswürdig; zu wenig Toaster für zuviel Gäste, Rührei aus Trockenpulver, kein Käse, keine Wurst als Belag. Fazit: Als City-Hotel OK, Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis in Ordnung, allerdings ohne viel Flair & Charme.
"Preiswertes, empfehlenswertes Hotel (Familienzi.)"
Das Hotel und die Zimmer sind sauber und ordentlich. Wir hatten für vier Tage ein Familienzimmer mit 2 Erwachsenen und 2 Kindern (13 und 10 Jahre) bewohnt. Das Zimmer war zwar nicht üppig, aber ausreichend groß. Allemal gut, wenn man nur zum Schlafen im Hotel ist. Mobiliar: Ein Doppelbett, ein Schlafsofa, ein Schreibtisch, eine Garderobe mit offenem […] Regal für die Wäsche. Einen Schrank gab es nicht. Das Bad (Waschbecken, Dusche und WC) war ebenfalls ausreichend groß und gut gemacht: Die Eingangstür zum Bad konnte nach innen geklappt werden und diente so als WC-Tür. Bei Bedarf konnten sich also drei Personen gleichzeitig im Bad aufhalten: Eine am Waschbecken, eine unter der Dusche und eine auf dem „verschlossenen“ WC. Vom Hotel aus kann man die drei umliegenden U-Bahn-Stationen (West Brompton, West Kensington oder Earl’s Court) in jeweils ca. 10…15 Minuten gut zu Fuß erreichen. Die Gegend um das Hotel ist zwar nicht die „beste“ Wohngegend, aber wir hatten nicht den Eindruck, dass man sich dort um seine Sicherheit Sorgen machen muss. Das Frühstücks-Buffet war zwar nicht gerade üppig, ist aber für ein paar Tage akzeptabel. Aus „deutscher Sicht“ fehlte dort Wurst- und Käseaufschnitt. Tipp: Selbst mitbringen, dann ist es o.k. Die Fahrt zum Hotel (Dover – London) per Auto und Navi war relativ einfach. Allerdings herrscht in London allgemein dichter Straßenverkehr. Gute Nerven und etwas Geduld sind also gefragt. Das Hotel verfügt über einen eingezäunten Parkplatz, verlangt aber m.E. einen etwas zu üppigen Preis dafür. Mehr

"Das Hotel Holiday Inn Express liegt in einer ruhig"
Das Hotel liegt in einem ruhigen und netten Stadtviertel von London. Man erreicht von dort aus in ca. 5 Min. die U-Bahn und die Bushaltestelle befindet sich direkt vor dem Hotel.Mehrere Geschäfte sind in unmittelbarer Nähe. Selbst Nachts kann man dort auch alleine auf die Straße ohne Angst zu haben. Das Hotel und die Zimmer sind sehr sauber. Da wir […] ein Vierbettzimmer hatten war es zwar etwas eng und wir vermissten einen Schrank aber zum Übernachten war das so OK. Die Klimaanlage funktioniert einwandfei und ist individuell einzustellen. Leider gibt es am TV keine deutschen Sender. Das hotel war in einem sehr sauberen zustand. Leider aber mit den kindern etwas zuweit von der underground station entfernt. Kann das hotel aber weiter empfehlen. Das frühstück war auch zu unserer vollen zufriedenheit.

Ideale Lage von Heathrow, nur 10 min. zur Tube, sehr sauberes und gut geführtes Hotel.
Für uns - 2 Erwachsene, 2 Kinder, 1 Familienzimmer - ideal, vor allem auch wegen des Preises, aber das Hotel ist ganz in Ordnung und wir können es jedem gerne weiterempfehlen.

Es scheint eher ein Hotel für Geschäftsreisende zu sein, da es keine Kästen im Zimmer gibt, nur einige Haken beim Eingang zum Zimmer und man aus dem Koffer leben muss, ansonsten total ok.

"Nice hotel in a cool area"
We spent 3 nights in this Holiday Inn. It's close to West Kensington subway station and Fulham broadway station. Lots of pubs, restaurants, shops around. Friendly staff. No bad surprises. We recommand. PS: easy lugages storage if you arrive earlier or leave in the afternoon.

"What you paid is what you will get!"
Everything was pretty average (inside the hotel). Staffs were ok (lack of smiles though). The buffet breakfast was average. We don't really like the neighbourhood around that area. The closest Metro station for this hotel is the West Kensington Station (5-7 mins walk from the hotel), not quite handy if you are gong to the sightseeing attraction areas […] (lanes changing quite a bit inside Metro station). We would recommend you stay at the Holiday Inn in Hammersmith Station if convenience is your 1st priority. Mehr

Friendly, welcoming staff, rooms are well laid out and ours was spotlessly clean. Plenty of choice for breakfast and continuously topped up. A great little hotel for a short stay in London, only a few minutes walk from the underground. I will be returning, many thanks!

Great clean hotel, great breakfast. 5 min walk to the metro- amazing indian restaurant next door. If you are comfortable walking (I mean able) to the metro it is a great place to stay. Has a beer and snacks downstairs at night. We enjoyed it. Biggest thing to us is cleaniness and they were spot on!

"Ideal location for Earls Court"
We booked this hotel for an overnight stay whilst visiting the Exhibition centre. The hotel was approximately 15 minutes walk from the centre, and about 6 or 7 minutes walk from West Brompton tube station. The hotel was located in a farily busy location with a lot of small shops, minimarkets, restaurants & takeaways. As the hotel doesn't cater for […] evening meals, the number of restaurants & takeaways proved to be very useful. And if you like fish & chips, I'd recommend the "traditional fish & chips bar" a few doors aong the road fro the hotel! The reception staff were very friendly and efficient and the room itself was very clean, tidy & comfortable. The bathroom was spotless, as was the toilet. The shower was excellent, with plenty of pressure and consistent hot water. Soap & shampoo/shower gel was provided via wall mounted dispensers. There was also a small notice in the bathroom that said that if a guest had forgotten to bring any toiletries, the hotel would supply complimentary items such as a face clocth, razor, shaving cream or a comb. I did actually take them up on the offer when I realised that I'd lost my comb during the day and they did indeed provide a new one, free of charge. The air conditioning seemed to work okay, but it did seem a little bit slow to operate and the hair dryer that was fitted in the room was a little on the weak side, but it was just about adequate enough for one day. Tea & coffee making facilities were also provided, but in our room these were "just enough". We had only enough to make 2 cups of coffee (1 each) and that pretty much wiped out the supplies! To be fair, I'm sure they'd have provided more on request, but I think that they should put a few more in the room in the first place. The bed was very comfortable and the pillows even came with removable tags marked as "soft" & "firm"!! Hotel is what you expect from a Holiday Inn Express. Good value for money and clean. Hot breakfast selection was limited but again for the price was satisfactory. The ony reason I would not stay at this hotal again is it is a slight walk to either of the nearest tube stations and the surrounding area can be a bit intimidating at night. The hotel was OK - nothing fancy, but I didnt expect that either. I normally do not write reviews, but in this case I feel I have to, because of my experience at Holiday inn. I checked in late, came tired, and got a room at 1st floor. The entire night we could hear water dripping ( I think we were located above the restaurant etc, so the noise was VERY […] loud), I do not have problems sleeping, but this sound was very annoying and kept going the whole night! So of course I wanted to change my room and when I talked to the receptionist it seemed as if they knew this room was bad "located" regarding the noise - but still took the change to give it to some naive tourist. We got the room changed, but our first night was not worth mentioning. This is not the kind of standard I expected, and obviously they do not want us to come back when they show this kind of attitude. Mehr

Good hotel with good service. Nice continental breakfast. WiFi solution could be better and the ekstra bed was terrible. 5 min walk to the nearest Underground Station West Kensington and from here approx. 25 min to Piccadilly Circus. But all in all a good hotel I can recommend.

the hotel is in convient location for tube and rail stationsand on a good bus route. it is nice and quiet in rooms. the beds were a bit uncomfortable (too soft and springy) and the bath towels were stupidly small. the room and beds were very clean as was the bath room, which was very nice, and there were no problems with the room. the breakfast choice […] was a bit limited with no real healthy option. their idea of that was tinned fruit or cereal, all of which were kiddie cereals and no healthy ones. it was all white bread too. on the whole not a bad stay and everything you expect from a budget hotel xxx Mehr

one of the elevators was broken so it took forever to go up and down floors also we were charged a large amount to make a local call and were not warned about this at check in or prior to the call the breakfast area is quite congested and makes it hard to get breakfast, they need a better layout to help move the flow of people.

Very clean modern hotel, friendly staff,5-10 mins walk from West Kenington Tube (depends on speed of kids etc!) so good base to get to anywhere in London. Will stay here again.
The hotel was clean and the staff helpful. Breakfast was good, as we were expecting a continental breakfast with croissant and buns, instead there was a buffet style with sausages and scrambled eggs as well as the normal cereal and toast. We were given a room which was for the disabled, not a huge problem but would have preferred a normal one.

My family (wife, 2 kids & me) stayed 3 nights prior to joining a tour which starts around the area. The hotel is conveniently located within 5 minutes walk to either West Brompton or West Kensington tube station. There is a coin-operated laundromat just across the street. Along the street, there are lots of shops and restaurants. The breakfast is great. […] The family room we had is rather tight. There is a double bed and a sofa bed. The sofa bed is very uncomfortable. Wished they had put in two double beds instead. The staff were very helpful and friendly. On the last day, they opened up breakfast for us early so that we can have some cereals prior to joining a tour which starts at 6am. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for value for money and wanting easy access to the tube stations. Mehr
