InterContinental the Clement Monterey - Monterey

Wir haben eine Rundreise gemacht und waren eine nacht in monterey. Das Hotel hat uns sehr gut gefallen und gehörte zu einer der besten. Das Restaurant "the C" können wir empfehlen.

für amerikanische verhältnisse ein luxus hotel. super empfang,beste lage,jeder erdenkliche komfort.wer es sich leisten kann,soll es sich leisten.

Das Hotel ist tadellos - als Businesshotel. Die Lage und die Zimmer sind sehr schön. Als Unterkunft für eine Familie würde ich nächstes mal aber ein etwas persönlicheres Hotel bevorzugen.

Our room faced the multistory parking lot - lights very uncomfortable. Only one chair in the room. We had to call housekeeping for a second robe. Restaurant & bar service amateurish - waited 15 minutes just for a menu. Drinks finally came after 3 inquiries. Needless to say, we will not go back

We were upgraded to a suite and were so happy! The staff at the hotel was so nice--helpful, cheerful, willing to help in any way. The food in the restaurant and room service too was fantastic. Since we had the suite on the waterfront, our view was facing Monterey bay and so beautiful. There are two sides to the hotel, one being on the waterfront and […] the other being across the over-street walkway located across the street. I would not want to stay in the rooms in back because they would not have a view of Monterey Bay although they are of the same quality and perhaps cheaper. The quality of the hotel was superb. The location is great with fun eclectic shopping, the amazing Monterey Bay Aquarium a block away, Pacific Grove walkways/paths along the water right there, a small spa available at the hotel. We stayed there for one night and visited the aquarium. Yes, it is little pricey but with two little kids, it was such a great location. When our baby got tired, I just simply head back to the room and was able to tuck him in for a nice two hr nap and watched a movie(!!!) with peace and quiet. (this doesn't come often. lol.) Very clean, very comfy bed, […] great interior. Bathroom was awesome. Everybody was super nice and accommodating. One thing negative was their coffee machine was not clean. I tried to boil a water for the baby's food - they had one cup brewer- then there were this weird looking green with black dot specs were in the water. I tried to flush them by boiling water 4-5 times but it kept coming out. Anyways, it was no big deal. I'd definitely stay here again to visit the aquarium. Mehr

This hotel is well located in Cannery Row. You can walk to many restaurants, shops, the aquarium, etc. I also loved that it was located on the running/biking path, so you can walk right out the door & be on the path.

The staff are so great, everyone is welcoming and want you to have a great time! We will go back to the Clement Hotel again! Also we will look into future stays at other locations for the Inter Continental hotel.

Very nice and clean hotel. Perfect for where I wanted to be, which was close to the Monterey Aquirium. All the staff was friendly and very helpfull. Would stay there again.

We stayed three nights in late March. After having stayed in hotels in New York and Boston prior to comin g to Monterey, the Clement was far better in all respects,- and cheaper.

I wanted a place that was convenient to Cannery Row, and you can't get more convenient than the Clement. We checked in after driving the 17-mile Drive. Top notch desk personnel. Very personable. Rivals the best hotels I've been in in D.C. and NYC. Valet car service was convenient, although you do need to give them 20 minutes notice if you need your […] car early in the morning. Rooms were bright. We had one that was on the side near Bubba Gumps. Made us feel part of the locale, and the windows kept out the sounds when it was time for bed. The bed was super comfy. I don't normally rave about bedding but it was great. It rained the night we were there so we didn't get a chance to sit out by the outdoor fire places but it is right near the ocean, which comes up under the front of the hotel. The bathroom was huge. A large walk-in shower on one side, and a large, deep tub on the other. We'll be back when we get to Monterey again. Mehr

We thoroughly enjoyed our 2 night stay at The Clement Monterey - a very high quality modern hotel with exceptional staff in an excellent location on Cannery Row. Our only wish would be for a buffet breakfast which wasn't available to us in the restaurant mid week

This one of the better places I have stayed in a long time,. The staff was very friendly and out going. The location was perfect !! Great place for a weekend retreat!

On the plus - very friendly, helpful staff. Clean, modern hotel. Very comfortable bed. On the minus Internet was not working. Ice bucket leaked all over credenza, side chair was dirty. Very pricey for what you get. I had to move to another hotel with good Internet access. Just got a "sorry."

Loved the hotel it was clean comfortable and convient.

We had agreat time, the Hotel is at the center of everything, next to Bubba Gump restaurant, all walking distance to great places to visit and eat.

This hotel is better than we expected. Modern, clean, good food, good service and right in the middle of Monterey. We planned on staying in Carmel, but couldn't find a good hotel to stay most of the ones in Carmel are really old. Overall, I was really satisfied with my hotel choice for our mini-moon. The only thing I would complain about is the very very expensive charges for the in-hotel movie orders. Otherwise, it's a great hotel for honeymooners and even family of four. Hotel room was really spacious and comfy.

Gorgeous hotel, extremely helpful hotel staff, gorgeous view, gorgeous fitness area. Only con: Parking is a bit pricey.

Great hotel. Looked brand new and was extremely clean. Good location with close PAID parking. Other than the parking being a little expensive for the area, it was awesome.

We loved staying at this hotel,it worth every penny you spend,the staff is very courteous,we found out at 1 am at night that there is no tooth paste and the hotel staff came up with a whole stock of things that we might need also we went to sat on the deck late night and found out that locked our self on the deck but of of a very nice staff person came,opened […] up the door,switch on the heater for us...wonderful staff and hotel..will surely visit again. This hotel says that it is 4 stars, but I give it 5 stars without the high price of a 5 star! I took my wife to celebrate a special birthday, and this hotel helped me to give her an excellent day! From the time we pulled into the hotel, we were taken care of perfectly,and one the staff knew your name,they remembered you like you were family. The whole […] hotel is awesome,and next door to everything and in walking distance. Our car was parked till we needed it to leave.Their in house has A+ food, and we are already planning our return trip. Another reason we went here is because they have their own day spa,witch my wife got pampered and she loved it. Bonus, it was just down the hall from our room. Mehr

The hotel is clean, stylishly furnished and decorated with excellent service from it's employees. The room was large with a smaller bed than we are used to but this was not a problem for us as we only stayed for 1 night. It is situated on the busy wharf area and really close to the Monterey Aquarium. It is really touristy here and the shops, bars and […] restaurants close by reflected that. The old town is in-land from the hotel and would be a long walk I think, but looked to have much more choice for eating and shopping. The hotel car park is a block or so away and you can park your own car or have the concierge do this for you for an extra $3 plus tips. Mehr

Very nice contemporary, classy hotel that seems somewhat out of place in the less-than-classy tourist neighborhood. Staff was very friendly and would stay there again as a home base for other area attractions.

This was a great location if you want to be within walking distance of all of the Cannery Row attractions. Walking distance to the aquarium and many of the restaurants in the area. Spent 2 nights with family (kids) in this hotel and enjoyed very much. Perfect placement in Monterey and very close to the great aquarium - also beautiful tracks for promenades/running south of the hotel. We enjoyed our stay and can recommend the hotel!

My husband and I chose this location for a couple nights of our honeymoon. What a delight! The valet, concierge and front desk staff were all very accommodating. The room was wonderful; the bed was ultra comfy and design of the room was spacious and modern. We will definitely be back!

This hotel is what you would expect from a 4 star hotel at a destination resort. You pay for the location, service and quality of facilities, and get what you pay for.

We enjoyed our stay and breakfast. The only minor complaint: the stall shower door on the hinge side was leaking on the floor. Maids should check on that whenever there is water outside the stall shower.

Fabulous location right on the heart of Cannery Row overlooking the waterfront - beautiful rooms with a fabulous bathroom. Highly recommended!

The hotel was beautiful! The staff was extremely helpful and friendly. The hotel is located right in the middle of everything - a few steps to the aquarium and many restarants and other things to do. It was fantastic!

This is a very nice hotel! We were in a King sized room, it was actually a very large room which was great. All the staff was very friendly and helpful. When we checked in we mentioned wanting to go eat next door at Bubba Gumps and he gave us a coupon for a free appetizer! The only thing I would say is lacking would be the pool. It is beyond small. […] Like so small it makes you wonder why they even bothered... I think maybe it was an after thought? But for us it didn't detract from our stay. Would go back again for sure. The Staff was very helpful in assistance, the hotel was better than expected, the pool was a bit small but it was still fine to use and the hotel restaurant was a bit pricey but it was worth the price- very delicious food. All in all, me and my family were very pleased with our Stay :)

For us it was all about loication. Our friends saved $60 by staying in Seaside but for us being right in the center of Cannery Row was worth it. Fireplace didn't work when we were checking in but I mentioned it and within 5 miniutes someone was there that fixed it. A nice clean feeling Hotel.
