Ruhig gelegen, Innenstadt trotzdem fußläufig erreichbar. Direkt an der Jamson Distillery gelegen. Supernettes Personal, hilfsbereit. Leider ließen sich in einem Zimmer die Fenster nicht öffnen. Als wir uns beschwerten, bekamen wir ein neues Zimmer. Zimmerausstattung ist einfach aber sehr ordentlich und sauber. Die Gemeinschaftsräume im EG sind sehr ansprechend, großzügig, loftmäßig, modern, auf mehreren Ebenen. Super Atmosphäre. Gut für jung und alt.

Der Aufenthalt im Hotel war angenehm, das Personal freundlich und hilfsbereit. Die Zimmer sind sauber, allerdings sind die Betten nicht die Besten, die Matratzen sind sehr weich und durchgelegen. Das Frühstück ist völlig in Ordnung, vor allem preislich. Die Lage direkt in der City ist ideal für Städtereisende, Haltestellen und Einkaufsmöglichkeiten sind in unmittelbarer Nähe.

Dieses Hotel ist sehr modern und gut ausgestattet. Die Zimmer sind sauber und haben die übliche Ausstattung. Die Lage ist auch ziemlich gut - man kann eigentlich zu allen Sehenswürdigkeiten laufen (auch wenn man bis zur Südseite der Innenstadt vielleicht 20 min braucht). Die einzigen zwei Nachteile waren, dass es nachts auf dem Flur recht laut war und die Tür nicht richtig schallisoliert ist, und dass das WiFi nur in der Lobby, aber nicht im Zimmer funktioniert.

Wir waren für fünf Nächte im einem Dreierzimmer untergebracht. Allerdings im Basement, was aber durch die Grösse des Zimmers wettgemacht wurde. Badezimmer und Hotelzimmer waren sehr sauber. Die Lage ist hervorragend, viele Sehenswürdigkeiten zu Fuss erreichbar. Das Frühstück war lecker und die Angestellten freundlich.
Für zusätzliche Personen können Gebühren anfallen, die abhängig von den Bestimmungen des Hotels variieren können.

Der Flughafen von Dublin befindet sich 10 Kilometer nördlich des Zentrums. Der relativ kleine, jedoch belebte Flughafen wird momentan ausgebaut und 2010 durch einen neuen Terminal erweitert. Der Flughafen ist über eine Buslinie mit dem Stadtzentrum verbunden, das in etwa 30 Minuten erreicht werden kann.

"Gut und preiswert"
Das Hotel ist ruhig gelegen zwischen Airport und Innenstadt. Die Anbindung zum Flughafen kann (abhängig von den Flugzeiten) kostenlos mit dem Airport-Shuttle erfolgen. Das Hotel ist sauber, die Reception und das Personal freundlich. Das Frühstücks-Buffett ist, trotz anders lautender Ausweisung des Hotels, kostenlos, gut und ausreichend, wen auch nicht […] sehr abwechslungsreich. "Fuer eine Nacht ok"
Das Hotel ist sauber und nah zum Flughafen gelegen. Wir haben dort nur eine Nacht verbracht, um am nächsten Morgen sehr zeitig den Flug zurück nach Deutschland zu nehmen. Das Hotel liegt gleich neben dem Crowne Plaza in einer Privatzufahrt. Auch der Shuttle Bus ist der zum Crowne Plaza. Wenn man mit dem Auto unterwegs ist, muß man 6,-EUR pro Tag für […] die Parkanlage bezahlen. Man kann aber das Auto 15Minuten vor dem Eingang zum Check-in abstellen. Da ein Shuttle Bus zum Flughafen verkehrt haben wir es so gemacht. Das Auto danach bei EuropCar abgegeben und mit den Shuttle vom Flughafen wieder zurück zum Hotel. Man muß sich am Flughafen etwas durchfragen, um den Abfahrtsort der Hotel Shuttle Busse herauszufinden. Der ist hinter der Kirche. Vor der Kirche fahren nur LinienBusse und andere Shuttles. Im Hotel hatte man uns erst ein Zimmer mit Doppelbett für "3 Personen" gegeben. Nach meiner Weigerung auf das Hausmädchen zu warten, um ein Sofa hinein zu stellen, gab man uns ein anderes Zimmer mit Sofa. Die Zimmer sind sehr klein, insbesondere für 3 Personen. Das Doppelbett ist für große Leute zu schmal und hat nur eine Bettdecke. Das ausgezogene Zustell-Sofa ist zu unbequem, um wirklich gut darauf zu schlafen. In Höhe der Hüfte ist eine Kule und die Knie liegen hart auf einer Kante. Das Zimmer besitzt eine Klimaanlage, die man ausschalten kann, trotzdem dringen vom Dach die Geräusche der Kliimaanlage ständig ins Ohr. Für eine Nacht mag das gehen, aber gut geschlafen habe ich nicht. Das Bad ist sauber, klein aber ausreichend. Interessant die Tür zum Bad hat zwei Funktionen, schließt einmal das Bad oder trennt die Toilette vom Bad. Gut, wir haben einen Beutel mit Muffin, Joghurt, Banane, Apfel und Wasser um 5:15Uhr bekommen, obwohl es Frühstück erst ab 6:00 Uhr gibt. Der Preis mit Frühstück ist sehr günstig und schon deshalb ist das Hotel zumindest für eine Nacht empfehlenswert. Mehr

Als erste bzw. letzte Übernachtung ein guter Tip. Flughafenshuttle leider nicht nachts. Pakplatz gebürenpflichtig! Ansonsten durchweg empfehlenswert, in einer Privatstrasse in Flughafennähe gelegen.

Bequeme Betten und angenehme Luft finde ich am wichtigsten in einem Hotelzimmer und genau das haben wir auch vorgefunden. Das Frühstück war sowohl delikat als auch umfangreich. Das Hotel liegt nicht besonders zentral, dafür kommt man recht schnell mit Auto und Bus sowohl zum Flughafen als auch in die Innenstadt von Dublin. Das Hotel liegt zwar in der Nähe des Flughafens, aber in Dublin ist nicht so viel Luftverkehr. Hat also nicht gestört. Vom Hotel ist Dublin City bequem mit dem Linienbus erreichbar (z. Zt. 1,80 € one way, 20 Minuten - besser man hat das Kleingeld passend, Überzahlung erhält man nur als Gutschein zurück, den man in Dublin bei der Buszentrale einlösen […] kann) Hotel ist für ein City Hotel gut ausgestattet. Allerdings wäre ein Pool schön gewesen. Service freundlich und zuvorkommend. Haben auf den kostenfreien Internet-Zugang im neben liegenden Crown-Plaza hingewiesen. Im Holiday Inn Express hätte es 8 € die Stunde gekostet. Parkhaus direkt neben dran, kostet aber auch 6 € am Tag. Frühstücksbuffet war o. k. - nicht sehr üppig, aber von der Preis Leistung vollkommen in Ordnung. Insgesamt für den einfachen und kostengünstigen Aufenthalt in Dublin mit guter Anbindung und direkter Parknähe zu empfehlen. "Very convenient to Dublin airport"
Excellent value. Included shuttle and breakfast. Staff extremely welcoming. Unfortunately, we got a smoking room. Staff tried to change us but there was no other room available
"Convenient and Economical"
The hotel was in great condition and the staff were very friendly. I like the security of the elevator requiring room key access. The bed was surprisingly comfortable (and I'm picky). THe breakfast spread was perfectly adequate if not noteworthy. All in all, one of the best values I've experienced in European hotels.

"Great value for money!"
This was our second stay at the Holiday Inn Express and we were very pleased once again! We were going on a long haul so we decided to spend a night in a hotel close to the airport to break the journey. Perfect location and value for money. Will definitely stay there again!

I stayed with my two young children after a late night flight. The room was not overly large but perfect for a short stay. It was extremely clean and surprisingly modern and fresh. Plus, the breakfast was wonderful!!

the hotel was closed when we arrived but we had been moved to the hotel next door and upgraded. This hotel was very good , excellent service and food but pricey . shuttle service was excellent and on time. I would use this hotel again.

Very close to airport with free shuttle to and from every half hour. Very reasonable rate. Free hot breakfast. Only a couple restaurants close but just a 5 minute walk to bus stop for city centre. U.S. and French electrical outlets also in room. Clean. Would definitely stay here again.

The hotel was great for our short stay in Dublin. We arrived early in the morning and although our room wasn't available for us, they did offer to have the room cleaned as quickly as possible and allowed us to store our luggage while we went site seeing. The shuttle was easy to catch to and from the airport as well.

A great value. There is a free shuttle to Dublin Airport. Be aware that the shuttle bus is also for the Crown Plaza next door and the smaller of the two buses has only the Crown Plaza name printed on the side of the van/bus. Although the Holiday Inn Express does not have a restaurant, you can walk through to the Crown Plaza's restaurant and pub, a few […] yards away. The Holiday Inn does serve a free buffet breakfast. "Convenient to Airport"
Spent our last day in Dublin at this hotel, we had just got back to Ireland from 4 days in Scotland. Good location. Used hotel shuttle and public bus transportation to spend day in Dublin city for sight seeing and shopping. Breakfast was easy and tasty. Room clean and fully practical. Internet also worked well.

We needed a hotel as a transit stay before catching an international flight the next day. The hotel shuttle to and from Dublin International was very convenient. Not much choice of restaurants around the hotel, but the Crowne Plaza was next door and we had a nice and reasonably priced dinner in the bar restaurant. As usual in Europe, cigarette smoke […] permeates everything - even on non-smoking floors. We could smell it in the hallways, but thankfully not in the room. This hotel was in a great location. the room was clean. The only bad part of the review is that the "sofa bed" was not comfortable. The mattress was so thin that it was like sleeping on the rails. I suggest a thicker mattress.

We had an early morning departure from the airport, and the Holiday Inn Express was perfect. The airport shuttle was large and clean, and it left on time. Our room was clean and comfortable with modern furnishings. It was also spacious and quiet. We would return to this hotel.

close to the airport with free shuttle. right next to a higher rate hotel and sharing the shuttle. the restaurant and bar of the other hotel is open and busy. the breakfast in the Holiday was good. the shuttle right there. i had not problems. arrived late and left early. it was a good alternative. rooms sparse but in good condition and clean.

This was the best value hotel I have ever experienced near a major airport. An almost new building and rates that include a really good buffet breaky- what more can you ask. "Very bare bones hotel - fine for a limited budget"
This hotel was clean and reasonable. We would have been happy to pay more (not too much) and have stayed at the adjoining Crown Plaza which at least had some amenities. The free shuttle left promptly for our very early flight which was good, but dropped us off some ways from the terminal. At an airport as tiny as Dublin, it seems they could have stopped […] at the two terminal entrances. This is a good budget choice but we were looking for something a little more comfortable. Mehr

Great Location.... there was a Shuttle to pick us up from the Airport and take us to the hotel after we landed and a Shuttle to take us to the Airport when we were ready to leave. The hotel is about a 10 minute Drive from the Airport. Breakfast was including in our stay which was worth it ! Location of the Hotel is Great. You can Take the Bus which […] is one block away from the Hotel and its about a 15 minute Bus ride to Central Dublin where all the major Attractions were or you can take a 12 Euro Taxi to the City but the Bus was one 2 euro so you do the math. The Rooms Were clean and not super small Either. The Staff was Helpful and they even did Currency Exchange at the Counter. The Stay was worth the Money and in a Good Location for the Price. "A good place for airport access"
We had a meeting nearby. Colleagues came from all over the EU. All were happy with the hotel. Its a great 3 star and next door is a great 4 star - the Crowne Plaza, which one of my colleagues stayed in and was also very impressed. The shuttle gets to the airport in 10 mins. "Modern and comfortable...if you can find it."
The hotel was sleek and comfortable though the room was a bit compact. The only problem was finding the place. The hotel is on a private road set back from nearest through road by 200 meters and there aren't any signs along the way to guide one to the site. Advertised for convenience of location, but is located too far from airport to walk and requires shuttle bus. The shuttle bus only holds five people so cost us 10euro to get to airport .
"overnight stay"
Just spent two nights at this hotel and it was fine for our needs. Room was clean and the hotel was fairly quiet. I would recommend this hotel for a quick stay.
