The hotel was hard to find at first, but once found it was a snap to get out and about. The room had ants on the air conditioning unit, two light bulbs were out in the lamps, stains all over the couch and the carpet was tore up in places almost look like someone bled all over and red on the walls which made me question the hotel lol. I enjoyed my stay.

-close to everything just confusing to find. -hallways were hot. didn't feel like there was any air conditioning. -the room smelled extremely musty/damp. i did read this on other reviews and figured that they would have fixed the issue - they have not! it is horrible!

The hotel itself is great is the customer service. I have stayed at this particular location several times and this was the first time that my bathroom didn't look clean. The bathroom floor had footprints on it and the toilet looked as if it had not been cleaned.

On our way to Atlanta, we stayed (3 incld. our daughter) two nights at the Holiday Inn Birmingham - Homewood. When we first arrived, there was a big party spilled out in front of the main entrance of the hotel with people smoking & drinking. The hotel was poorly maintained, smelled musty all over, including the corridors and our room!. Next day, we […] left the hotel at noon and specifically requested housekeeping from the person at the front desk.. Since we all took showers, we needed clean towels, as well. When we came back that evening, we saw that no housekeeping was done, all dirty towels were still on the floor. So, we had to call the front desk to get new towels at least & we had to go down to the front desk later to get them. This hotel is terrible, even Motel 8 has a much better service and maintenance. Hotel was good. If you book hotel room on hotels.com this hotel will NOT give you a receipt for your stay. They do not tell you this when you check in. How am I suppose to know if there was something more that was changed on my credit card or not.That was very disappointing. Other than that, the hotel was comfortable, clean and convenient

Hotel was in good location. Lots of eateries, gas stations, and easy on/off interstate. Beds were comfortable. We only stayed one night, so my experience was limited; the staff was friendly and helpful as far as we needed them. My complaints would be that the water pressure was low, but adequate. Some of the finishes in the bathroom seemed poorly done […] and made a new hotel seem well-used. And worst of all, my shower was lukewarm at best. This made for a very chilly wakeup! Mehr

Only problem I had was being charged by hotels.com then charged again by hotel. Hotel was very helpful in rectifying the problem.

Very nice, modern. Beds are super comfortable. Great location.
