Hotel Monte Carlo - Ocean City

Very nice hotel..clean in a good location..only problem indoor pool was not heated. & me & my boyfriend was looking forward swimming this weekend.

Nice room. Great location. The only not so great thing was the breakfast...

Hotel had a good location which was only half a block from the boardwalk. Hotel didn't have ice machines which was annoying, but they did sell ice for 4.50

First the you can't find parking in a lil parking lot then the whole hotle smiles like subway the rooms didn't look like the picture the swim pools are a joke the inside pool was cloud and very tiny and the upstair pool was little the rooms was so noise u heard loud music all night long but the worst thing is that the hotel was 2 b smoke free but when […] I walked down the hallway 2 use the only elevator which took forever since there is only 1 for 6 floors. we smell odor of cigarettes and other smokey odors and no one did anything about it when we tried 2 explain then it took me 25 minutes 2 checkout when I had a 6 hr drive 2 do this hotel will never ever get any more of my business Mehr

Walking in after a very very stressful morning. We were greeted by 2 of the biggest smiles I have ever seen. We were so very early, but they managed to put us in our room without delay!! Overall the room was very clean at first sight, but don't inspect the bathroom too well, there you will be disappointed. The next morning we went to the parking lot […] to go on a day trip, only to find our rented van and another car was hit. The parking there is the worst, I would only recommend you have a very very small car. After bringing it to the front desk's attention, and asking if there was a manager on site, still have not seen or heard from him!? Nothing was said or done about it. I washed a load of clothes in the only washer and dryer provided by the hotel only to find which may have been my mistake, the washer was loaded with sand and the dryer didn't work. We stayed 3nights still not fixed. So I got to go to the laundry mat on my semi vacation. Still no manager. After speaking to the manager on duty at night, and relaying all that has happened to us, she let us know that they get in trouble if they summonds the general manager!? So with this being said, Mr. Manager, (who ever you are) give up your job, and take your probably very hefty salary and spread it amoungst your desk help, they hid you well. You and the owners of The Monte Carlo should be ashamed. Girls thankyou for everything Mehr

Stayed with my daughter for spring break as a last minute arrangment. The price was perfect, the staff were friendly, the room was ok but bathroom was DISGUSTING. There was mold all over the ceiling, the shower head wouldnt stay attached and there was rust on everything. The toliet made obnoxious noises everytime we flushed it, and there were loud rattling […] sounds all night long. I would not stay in this hotel again! Mehr

The hotel overall was good but there were some concerns (like anywhere). Parking was bad and it wasn't even the summer season. Like people before me have said there is only 1 elevator so unless you are a patient person that could be a problem. They advertised a indoor pool, hot tub and fitness center. The indoor pool is about as big as my bathtub!! […] You can stand in the middle of the pool and put both arms out and touch each side... Better than no pool I guess. The hot tub is not open during the "off season" and the fitness center well to be honest was a complete joke. It consists of 3 machines and a tv. The room is very small and to make matters worse there was a stack of boxes next to one of the machines to make the room even smaller. During my stay the eliptical machine, the treadmill and the tv did not work. Other than that our stay was good. Before we went I checked the reviews and read a bunch of negative ones and was very nervous about the place but once there it was fine. I would recommend this place. Mehr

I was pleased with the Hotel. Its location was good and the pools and hot tub were a plus. The only problem I had was with the cleaning service letting a confused man in to my hotel room. Normally this wouldn't have caused much of a problem except for the fact that it was timed perfectly with my walk to the shower in the morning.
