Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites Harriman - Harriman

Stayed here with our 2 small kids as an overnight on our drive from NY yo Memphis. Boy were we pleased with our choice! Comfy beds, large room and beautiful views in a quiet area. This was much appreciated after 14 hours on the road.

Conveniently located off of the interstate. Not much around it as far as restuarants. Nice hotel though.

My only complaint was when the heater was in standby, it would make clicking noises all night (similair to space heaters). Due to this, I did not sleep well. I probably could have pulled the plug on the heat, but did not want to freeze to death! :)

ONLY COMPLIANT WAS THE MATTRESS, WAS TOO HARD

The hotel was great. Enjoyed the complimentary breakfast. Best coffee & pancakes. The only issue was the outdoor lighting that would shine thru the window due to broken blind. Other then that it was a great place to stay.

The property was maintained throughout, clean and quiet. You can see it from the road, and it's only a stone's throw from the interstate. That said, you have to go past what you'll think is the entrance/drive, hang a U-turn and turn right up a drive to the right. This is likely easier during the daytime. The gym is anemic, but I didn't want a gym. I […] wanted to drive an extra half-hour past Knoxville and save $30+, which I did. It's on the second Harriman exit, FWIW. There is a blue lodging sign on the interstate, so don't fall for the first Harriman exit (like I said, it was dark). This is lower traffic that Knoxville, just as clean or cleaner, quite new, and the breakfast was better than average. Not a resort, not the Ritz-Carlton, but a step up from basic accommodations, to be sure. I'll stay again given half a chance. Mehr

The hotel was really well kept and cleaned. It's obviously fairly new and 30 minutes to the 127 Yard Sale Route. We were 4 women in a 2 queen bed suite. Upon check in, I asked the young woman at the desk what I needed to do to make sure we would have 4 towels in our room every day, instead of the standard 3. She replied "Oh, just tell me." The next […] afternoon after we'd been gone all day in the high heat and humidity, we returned to find that the maid service had left no towels for us at all. Each day after that, we were left only 3, not the four that we needed. I will say that each time we needed more towels, the staff was courteous and helpful. Everyone we encountered was very nice. Other than this one issue, everything about our stay was fine. The pool was small but it was ok. The breakfast is exactly what you expect from a Holiday Inn Express. It suited our needs perfectly and the price was right. The lobby area was clean and uncluttered. Only one out of two computers worked at the business center. Overall, I would recommend this property. Very Clean and very accommodating! Friendly and ready to meet any need. Check in and out was efficient. We stayed there while "doing" the 5 state yard sale and the area seemed so safe that we left all large items in the back of our truck overnight! No problems!

Great hotel! Friendly and helpful staff! Good breakfast! Beautiful view!

Stayed for one week, 5/18 to 5/25. Great for extended stay. Nice desk work area with WiFi and CAT-5 wired, comfy bed and livingroom area, mini-kitchen. Definitely a be-back when in the area again.

Every one was fantastic My biggest complaint was the bed was hard need pillow top mattress.

All the grace and southern charm one could ever expect. I highly recommend this hotel.

The employees were extra special in helping us with local resturants and shopping. The were very cheerful and willing to help with anything we needed. They were very sincere in their helpfullness. Will definately stay there agin soon.

This hotel has a beautiful view. Friendly employees and nice breakfast also. I really enjoy staying at this hotel.

Hotel was more than expected - very nice, spotlessly clean and comfortable. Staff very friendly and helpful. Pool and exercise room spotless. View of mountains from room was great. Business center very helpful.

this hotel was great for the money. It was just not in the location i needed for my stay. i would recommend it to anyone. We asked for a late check-out and was assisted with no questions or problems.

Hotel was very clean. Staff was very friendly except the lady doing breakfast. Breakfast was good but be on time, breakfast is cleaned up if you are still eating or not. I watched the staff remove a tray out from under a customers hand. Tsk. Tsk. in this economy. Inside pool is great but hotel needs a hot tub.

Excellent hotel at a reasonable price. Other than horrible scrambled eggs, it was a great experience.
