Nice 1 night stay. A little difficult to find the entrance in the dark. Overall a good hotel.

The staff was what made this place worth staying at...would def stay there again. Nice room and wonderful breakfast.

The staff that worked in the hotel were very nice and and the girl behind the front desk answered all of our questions that we had. The room was very nice awesome shower nice bedding and comfortable. I would highly reommend staying there and I will go back.

Hotel was a little far out of town but was very easy to find. Rooms were very clean and comfortable. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

Everything was GREAT!

Stayed here a couple of times now, always clean and dependable. Definitely recommend it. Only problem, a bit of a drive from Ashland downtown (10-15 minutes).

This was my first say. Room was clean, pool was small and breakfast was great.

We stopped here on our way back from Virginia to Illinois. The hotel was super clean, friendly staff, great breakfast, and the pool was perfect for my family to unwind between days of long car travel.

We came from Indiana to visit my niece and her family. We had a great time the only issue was that the hotel was so far from where she lived. The hotel itself was great. Big breakfast, very clean rooms, nice spa type shower, good hot tube, average size indoor pool, and friendly staff.

Everything about our stay at the Holiday Inn Express - Ashland KY was wonderful. Everyone working there was friendly, yet professional. They made us feel right at home. I wish you could guarantee the same comfortable feeling at all of your Holiday Inn Express.

everything was perfect. anyone that would have any complaints about this place is a person that cannot be pleased in any way.

Over all, We were happy with our stay at the Holiday Inn Express. The shower was nice. The rooms were clean. The breakfast was OK.

Great Hotel - Huge Rooms. Perfect for a family of five with the sleeper sofa. Great Pancakes on the breakfast bar. Staff was very friendly.

Very nice hotel. Had really nice showers with built in body sprayers! First time I have seen that in ANY hotel. Easy to get to. Not much around but there is one very good restaurant/bar near by. Will stay again.

This Holiday Inn Express is a very nice place to stay if you are passing through, or will be staying in the area for a while. Room was very nice, clean, and quiet. My mom and I stayed at this hotel on 180, right out of Ashland, KY last weekend. We had a wonderful room, with two very comfortable queen size beds, a spa like shower, and a super HD TV. There was a good size refrigerator in the room also. The staff were always smiling and very willing to help with whatever we needed. It is a very clean hotel and the […] breakfast buffet is a good bonus since there is no restaurant in the hotel. The pillows even said "firm" and "soft" on the beds and we each had four pillows, which is good because that's what we sleep with at home. Don't hesitate to stay here. They also have a nice little fitness room with a water cooler and a rack of clean towels. The pool was down for maintenance, but it is sizable for the hotel. I have not stayed at a Holiday Inn Express before and I was very impress with this Inn. It was very clean, the staff was very friendly and knowledgeable about the area. I liked the location. It was close to the interstate, but far away from it that you did not have the traffic noise. It was not a bad drive to downtown Ashand. We were excited when we walked into a clean room with fairly comfy beds. The only down side to our stay was that the breakfast room never seemed to have an empty table for the family to sit at. We had to bring the food back to our rooms and have our 1 and 2 year-old children eat there. Not comfy as you can imagine! Otherwise the stay was great!

All I will say is I will have to make a once am month trip to Ashland Kentucky for at least another 8 months or so and I WILL STAY AT THIS HOTEL EACH AND EVERY TIME AND WILL REQUEST THE SAME ROOM #.....................***********ONLY THING I WOULD SAY ROOM FOR IMPROVEMENT WOULD BE THE CONTINENTAL BREAKFAST AS FAR AS OPTIONS.What I had was good.

This hotel is a little drive from the downtown Ashland /Ironton area. Despite having few amenities what it lacks in location it makes up in friendly, quality staff, spacious, comfortable rooms and a plentiful breakfast buffet. Kind of nice when you're on a budget. I found this hotel to be very clean and comfortable. The staff were very polite and helpful and it is located near everything I needed. I will definately stay here again when I am in the area.

We were impressed with the friendliness of the staff, the cleanliness of the hotel, and how quiet it was even though we were on the first floor near the breakfast eating room. Free wi-fi was so easy to connect to. I would be happy if all my hotel stays were this worry free.

Very nice and the price was great. The staff was friendly and helpful. The breakfast well served. Very clean throughout. There was a little plumbing noise from upstairs room, but did not effect our stay. I will stay again if passing through the area. I booked thru Hotels.com, and the map that their sight gave was not correct. The map showed the location […] to be on HWY 60 not correct. The motel is located on the west side of HWY 180 instead. It took a phone call to the motel to correct this error. This mis-information was not the fault of the motel. I hope that Hotels.com corrects this error. Mehr

The hotel personnel & facility were great except for re-finishing the spa. The paint that was used was very high in VOC's & if the MSDS info was read it would recommend not breathing the fumes for an extended period of time. Unfortunately our room was directly across from the spa & my wife & I were unable to get away from the odor. It did lessen later […] but we still had to breathe the fumes throughout the night. The next day my wife was nauseous & I had a headache. This situation could have been avoided if they had rented an industrial exhaust fan & put it in the door way to the outside of the building. They did have the AC fan running with the door open but it wasn't sufficient to remove the fumes. Mehr

This hotel was very clean and updated. The breakfast buffet was very nice, and different each day. However, during my stay, the indoor pool was closed for annual maintenance. I do not have a problem with that, but I have a large problem with the way it was done. The very small pool was going to be closed for over a week, which is way too long. The pool […] was repainted on a Saturday, the busiest day of the week for a hotel! The paint used to do this emits very strong and dangerous fumes. Why would hotel mgmt allow these fumes to be in their building for a Saturday night. I stayed on the 3rd floor, pool was on 1st floor, and it was a harmful odor. I had to suggest to the front desk agent to open the door which led from the pool room to the outside for some ventilation. I was told that Saturday evening that I would be contacted by the hotel manager along with all other guest complaining about the fumes. That did not happen. So I called to talk to the manager, and here the manager was on vacation during the pool renovation. Mgmt should have known that this process is an inconvenience to their guests and they will have complaints, they need to be available to their guests and address their concerns. Mgmt could have scheduled the pool project for another time period when they were not scheduled for vacation. It is an indoor pool open year-round, so they have 52 weeks available to work with. Mehr

everything in our room was perfect. the room was clean, the air and heat worked, it was quiet and peaceful. my only complaint is the pool was down half the time which was the only reason we booked that hotel. also, the beds were a little hard.

Great things: 1 - Breakfast was generous and good. 2 - Room was clean 3 - Bed & pillows were comfortable 4 - Check in/out was a breeze Not Great: 1 - Pool was Out of Order due to chemical levels out of balance.

I was very impressed by the hotel. The room was immaculate with new towels and nice bedding. It was the best hotel I've stayed in in months for the price I paid. I would definitely recommend it and stay there again. They even had free continental breakfast.

Very nice hotel. Staff was very helpful and kind. Room was very clean and nicely furnished. The shower had a very nice extra nozzle that sprayed on your lower back area that was very unexpected BUT nice!! Would definately stay here again..

Check-in was seamless. Employees were very friendly and efficient. Rooms were clean and well appointed. The breakfast buffet was not very good, but did have more choices than most complimentary breakfasts at other hotels. Over-all, had a good stay.

The staff was friendly and helpful. The room was nice and clean and quiet. I was pleasantly suprised to find a business center with 2 computers and printers for guest use. The complimentary breakfast was better than expected with all the usual offerings plus hot sausage, gravy, and biscuits.

Hotel was clean and comfortable. A bad smell in room when we entered, but we brought our own spray so we were able to take care of it. Entrance not clearly marked on rd. We thought the breakfast was very good and way more than most hotels offer. Overall experience was great for the money.

Had a seminar in Ironton,OH and the Holiday Inn Express in Ashland, KY, only 20 minutes away, was very accomodating for me and my family.
