Das Hotel hat die 4 Sterne voll verdient! Wir würden das Hotel jederzeit wieder buchen. Das Frühstück ist vergleichbar mit jedem 4 Sterne Hotel in Deutschland. Die Zimmer sind sehr modern und entsprechen auch absolut dem Standard eines 4 Sterne Hotels in Deutschland.

Für unseren einwöchigen Venedigbesuch suchten wir einen idealen Ausgangspunkt und haben ihn im Hotel Ai Pini gefunden. Auf dem kleinen parkähnlichen Grundstück (etwas kleiner, als die Fotos vermuten lassen) konnten wir unser Fahrzeug die ganze Woche sicher abstellen. Ca. 15 m vor der Hotelzufahrt befindet sich eine Bushaltestelle und mit der Linie 7 kann man ohne Umsteigen direkt zum Busbahnhof in Venedig fahren, wo sich auch die Vaporettostationen befinden. Die Busfahrt dauert ca. eine halbe Stunde - der Bus ist je nach Tageszeit relativ voll. Vom Busbahnhof in Venedig kann man in ein Vaporetto umsteigen oder nach Überquerung der nächsten Brücke direkt die Gassen von Venedig erkunden. Im Hotel konnten wir auch die Kombikarten Hellovenezia für Bus und Vaporetto erstehen. Diese kostete für sieben Tage fünfzig Euro pro Person und hatte sich bereits nach dem zweiten Tag gerechnet. Das Personal im Ai Pini ist absolut freundlich und sehr hilfbereit - angefangen beim Empfang bis zum sehr guten Restaurant (empfehlenswert). Es ist jedoch ratsam, die etwas größeren Zimmer möglichst mit Blick auf den Park zu wählen - darin kann man sich aber sehr wohl fühlen (auch wenn es keine Zimmer mit Balkon gibt). Alles in allem als Ausgangspunkt für Venedigbesuche sehr geeignet.
Lage
Hotel Paganelli befindet sich mitten in Venedig in der Nähe von: Chiesa di Santo Zaccaria, Markusdom und Seufzerbrücke. Nicht weit entfernt befinden sich: Markusturm und Basilika San Giovanni e Laterano.
Ausstattung
Dieses Hotel verfügt über Folgendes: Bar/Lounge. Es wird täglich ein kostenloses Frühstück angeboten. Ein kostenloser Highspeed-Internetzugang per Kabel steht in den öffentlichen Bereichen zur Verfügung. San Marco ist das eigentliche Touristen-Venedig. Der Piazza San Marco ist bekannt für die Tauben, den Markusturm, den Markusdom, den Dogenpalast und teure Cafés und darf bei einer Stadtbesichtigung nicht fehlen. Die schönen Aussichten auf das Wasser sind legendär, und nirgendwo sonst in Venedig warten so viele Gondeln wie hier auf Passagiere. Während der Saison ist der Piazza mit Tagesausflüglern dicht bevölkert, während nur ein bis zwei Ecken weiter die Straßen ruhiger sind und es noch mehr Museen und Paläste zu entdecken gibt.

"sehr gute Lage nahe Markusplatz"
Ideale Lage, schön und geschmackvoll ausgestattetes Zimmer und Bad sowie Frühstücksraum. Personal zuvorkommend. Gutes Preisleistungsverhältnis. Negativ: Zimmer sehr klein (man kann am Bett nicht mehr vorbeigehen), Aussicht in tristen Hinterhof. Alles in allem würden wir vielleicht auch wieder hingehen.

"Das Hotel Paganelli liegt sehr günstig"
Das Hotel liegt sehr günstig zu allen wichtigen Sehenswürdigkeiten und Ausflugszielen (Marcusplatz, Dogenpalast ca. 200 Meter, Bootsanleger ca. 20 Meter). Das Servicepersonal ist sehr entgegenkommend. Das Frühstück hat fast "deutsches" Niveau, sehr gut, um den Tag entspannt zu starten.
"Super Lage in gutem Hotel"
Gutes, sauberes Hotel in der absoluten Nähe von S. Marco. Idealer Asugangspunkt für Venedig. Frühstück war sogar richtig gut, was selten in Venedig ist. Rezeption immer besetzt und sehr hilfbereit. Das Zimmer war nur sehr klein, aber man ist eh den ganzen Tag unterwegs.

das hotel schien frisch renoviert, das zimmer war elegant eingerichtet, der ausblick aus dem fenster sehr schön, das badezimmer großzügig aber schmutzig ( blut von mehreren mücken am boden, schimmelbildung am badewannenrand ), der zimmerboden wurde während unseres aufenthalts sicher nicht gesäubert, die auswahl am frühstücksbuffet war begrenzt, der […] platz des hotels und die aussicht machen vieles wett, trotzdem würde ich es nur für einen kurzurlaub empfehlen Mehr

Our room in the main hotel was lovely. The bathroom was large and very clean and modern. The water bus stops right outside the hotel and the hotel itself is right next to St Marks square, which is right where you want to be. The people at the desk were very helpful and friendly. Price was good and I would stay there again.

dont book a room here! you can hear everything from all surrounding rooms. tv..talking...walking above...showering....etc. it was 945p. and we couldnt sleep ...we had to leave and the owner offered us another room that was secluded but wanted to charge us 50 euro more. we told him no! we shouldnt have to pay more in order to get sleep so we got our […] refund and went elsewhere to find a place to stay. The staff were universally friendly and efficient, especially Marco (front desk). The room was spotless. The location is superb -- very close to the Vaporetto stop for St Marks (San Marco). Breakfast was excellent, served cheerfully. Highly recommended.

The annex room is located at the back door of the main hotel so that there is no view at all and the window faces the next building closely. The room is like an apartment room, nothing like a hotel room. Therefore, it is unlikely to have a 3 star hotel. Breakfast is not good enough.

"The WORST experience"
The smallest shoe box I ever spent a night on. The Hotel is nothing like the pictures. I was given a room on the 2nd floor, 38 narrow stairs to navigate, no place to keep anything, had to put most of my stuff on the floor.

The Hotel Paganelli is located just a couple of minutes walk from St. Mark's square and is right on the waterfront. Having never been to Venice before and arriving at night, the location was perfect as our transfer stopped at the quayside right in front of the hotel. During our stay we saw many people wandering aimlessly through the streets with their […] suitcases trying to find their accommodation - we then realised how lucky we had been. The room was delightful. We chose a superior room with an internal view into the courtyard. Although small, the room was very comfortable. The bed was excellent and the linen and towels good quality. The bathroom was modern, clean and the shower was superb. The breakfast buffet was plentiful with a good selection of food and drink. We found the staff very friendly and helpful and because the hotel is small we always felt the service was very personal. We would definitely recommend Hotel Paganelli to friends and family as we felt it offered great value for money. We wouldn't hesitate to stay there again. Mehr

This hotel is in a great location and was easy to find. Conveniently there are water bus stops all along the front that take you almost any where you would like to go. The room was a good size and nice and quite. The room was also very clean and tidy a must when i rate a hotel. Room decor was nice gold and cream. The hotel staff on the reception were […] very nice and helpful to explain how to get anywhere and they also let us stay a little bit later after check out as we weren't flying out till late. If there was anything i could have a gripe about was breakfast... the breakfast lady was a bit grumpy and almost felt like she just couldnt be bothered with you, never smiled and felt a bit like she wanted us to hurry up as we had a small child that made a little bit of noise. Also the breakfast selection was a bit on the small side but still ok as it was free and any breakfast is better then trying to find some. If this is your first time to venice i would also recommend you try and find somewhere that offers a dinner service as finding good food at a reasonable price is hard, unless you can eat pizza for days. "Good price but rather cramped"
For the price you pay for a hotel in Venice, you simply can't ask for more. Free wifi and breakfast, but rooms are very small. With a water bus stop just outside the hotel, getting to the hotel is very easy, but might take up to 30 mins to reach from the railway station. For those rushing for trains, this is something to take note of.

I stayed in the annex which, unless you need to have a view of St. Mark's Basin out your window, was perfectly fine. The room was small and a bit dated, but nonetheless clean and comfortable enough. if you just need a safe, convenient and clean place to sleep without a lot of bells and whistles, then this is a good choice.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Hotel Paganelli. Lovely,large room with a great bathroom with a bath. Customer service at reception was always helpful especially the gentleman (sorry didn't catch his name) who worked on the mornings we were there. The hotel has an excellent location close to St. Marks Square. The room and the bathroom were very small. We had a queen and a single bed in the room. There was a small closet, a small refrigerator and a safe. We were in a room facing the little court yard and we had a small balcony off of our room. (very nice atmosphere) Except for the smallness of […] the room I liked this room very much. When you are in Venice you just need a bed and a shower. There is a patio on top of the building that is accessible to all guests and is a great place for morning photos. The sun is there in the afternoon. The included breakfast is in another location about 50 yards away and was very clean and very good. The normal Continental fare.. bread, salami, fruit, coffee. The breakfast starts at 7:30 to 10:30. I feel the best attribute of this hotel is the location. It is about 30 yards from the water bus stop.. San Zaccara San Marcos and you can catch the boat to take you to the airport at the same stop. Much better than carrying luggage over 200 bridges. I strongly recommend the airport boat. The staff were great and very helpful and the hotel was very clean.. It could use a little cleaning on the hallway carpets, but the color was light. I stayed at the place next door last year bigger room and almost twice the price but I like this place better. In a superb area in Venice! The hotel is conveniently located to Piazza San Marco...where it's all at. Also located nearby is the vaporetto. One by reception near the water with the stunning views. These are for the suites. And, the other location is located in the adjacent alley, where everyone has breakfast. I spent my last night in Venice at this hotel. It was a last minute booking, but it turned out to be my favorite hotel during my trip to Italy. Great combination of value and location. I stayed in one on the annex standard rooms. The included breakfast was underwhelming at best, but it was enough to get me going. Excellent location, our room was in the Annex which probably meant it was quieter than the main hotel. There was no lift which made it fun with luggage. Lovely room with opening windows and shutters. Very impressed with breakfast.

Location is excellent -- a few steps from Piazza San Marco, and just at a boat stop. BUT -- important to know that you need to manage your own luggage from boat to hotel. Room is small and sparsely furnished, but courtyard and roof terrace make up for it. Breakfast is excellent. Staff is pleasant and friendly.

The best part of the Hotel Paganelli is it's location right across from the Zaccaria vaporetto stop and 3 minutes walk from the Piazza San Marco. The rooms were noisy from passing people in front of the annex. Fantastic option, especially if you are going in and out of Venice quickly. The Hotel Paganelli was very nice. The room was so beautiful. I stayed in the Annex which is right around the corner from the main hotel. The room had a lot of space with a shower and small tub. I loved everything about the room except the bed was a little hard but it wasn't a big deal. The location couldn't be better. The water taxi's and water bus […] station is literally right in front of the hotel. The stop is the S. Zaccaaria. It is right around the corner from St Marks but just far enough to avoid the loud noise. Everything was close by and you can take the waterbus anywhere you would want to go, like San Giorgio island or Morono or to the Rialto bridge. Amazing, great experience. Mehr

"Hotel Paganelli - Venice"
Staying for 2nights the last week of January, we got off the Vaporetto at S.Zaccaria and just to the right is Hotel Paganelli. Perfect location. Check-in was fine, our room got upgraded from an annex to a superior for no given reason but we didn't complain. Room was really nice, 26inch tv on the wall for those who understand italian and en-suite bathroom […] (slight smell coming from bathroom toilet upon arrival, however we found this smell to be common at times throughout Venice - Opening the bathroom window got rid of the smell). Room had a safe which you program yourself. Breakfast was between 7.30am and 10am, consisting of cereal, baguettes, ham, cheese, cake etc. Wide variety to cater for everyone. A 60 second walk after breakfast takes you to St Marks Square and the main attractions. Ideal location, nice hotel and would definitely recommend it to friends/family and stay again when we return. "Everything meets my expectation even beyond"
Hotel staff is friendly. Location is on one of the most strategic location in Venice. Piazza San Marco and San Zaccaria water bus stop are just step away. This will be my most preferred hotel for my future visit to Venice.
"Venice Hotel-very close to St Marks and the Bridge"
Very close to St Marks and the Rialto Bridge and its surrounding shops and restaurants. And the Vaporetto is right in front of the hotel. Hotel is older but clean. Breakfast was excellent. We had one issue......mosquitoes.......no screens!
