"das Hotel liegt zentral als Gateway zu den KEYS"
Das Frühstück war super. Unsere Tochter 10 war begeistert! Der Pool war clean . Die Zimmer waren sauber und ruhig. Das Personal war nett und freundlich! Die Lage des Hotels is Zentral . 20 Minuten zu den Everglades und 40 Min bis Key Largo. Wir können das Hotel weiterempfehlen.

"Florida City Hotel Wonderful"
Enjoyed our stay no problems great food will definitely reccomend to anyone and that will be our hotel pick whenever we are in the area again. ( Great Hospitality )
"Holiday Inn Express, Homewood, FL - Ugh"
The night before we stayed here, we stayed at the Homewood Suites in Dania Beach, Fl. The cost of the room was exactly the same and both hotels have rooms with beds. That is about the limit of their similarity. The Hilton was outstanding. I wouldn't send my mean sister-in-law to this Holiday Inn Express. Pros: 1. Lobby was clean and inviting 2. Check-in […] was prompt. 3. The breakfast _area_ was pleasant. 4. Coffee with breakfast was good. Cons: 1. We reserved 2 queens; we got a king. 2. The room can only be described as shabby ... unless you prefer "grungy." It even smelled musty and dirty. 3. Oddly enough, there were TWO tables but only one chair, which was uncomfortable and squeaked if you leaned back. 4. The mattress was OK, but there were four tiny, soft pillows (king-sized bed, remember.) Two were labelled "firm" but .... not even close. One of the pillows smelled. 5. No extra pillow or blanket. 6. Refrigerator in the room had to be unplugged because it clicked. 7. Very flimsy plastic glasses. 8. Breakfast selection was OK, although the hot items we tried (premade omelets, sausage, biscuits and gravy) were all horribly oversalted. I threw out mine and settled for raisin bran with yogurt and the cereal was stale. I cannot recommend this hotel to anyone. In fact, I'll think twice before I stay in a Holiday Inn again. Mehr
"Horrible service and musty - Stay Away!"
We will never stay in this hotel again. Our first weekend it was rainy the entire week and the room smelled musty and damp. I was sick for over a week after this stay. Had to go outside in the middle of the night for fresh air. Then, we found out the hard way that there is NO HOUSEKEEPING in the evenings. We needed towels for showers before dinner and […] had to pick them up themselves. And plumbing issues had to be taken care of by ourselves. Very nice hotel, clean, freshly painted. The breakfast had a lot of variety and was fresh. Room was very comfortable and clean. The staff were.friendly and very helpful. I would.stay here again.

It's a very, very old hotel, tables, chairs and pool not clean.
This hotel was perfect for the night stay that we did. Conveniently located by the Everglades. Staff was friendly and helpfull.

Great hotel and very clean. Had a good breakfast and very friendly staff.
This is a great place to stay when you're on your way to or from the Keys or seeing family in the Homestead area. Rooms were very clean; the mini refrigerator and microwave were clean. Although there were never enough cups in the room. My only recommendation is to look at the bathrooms walls before the end of your stay. I found mold at the top of wall […] next to the shower tile. "Great breakfast and staff"
The included breakfast is hot and terrific, cheese omelets, bacon or sausage, hot biscuits& gravy, hot cinnamon buns, several kinds of bread and bagels with many toppings, cereals, yogurt. At night the staff made chocolate chip cookies for the guests. The pool was clean and well maintained.

Reasonable hotel, every you expect as standard. Great location for Everglades NP and Upper Keys . Not many good places to eat in Florida City , we drove 40 miles down to Islamorada. We have stayed here before and would again to visit the Everglades.

Hotel looked new, staff very accommodating and friendly, the continental breakfast was good and included hot food, coffee available in lobby allday as well as being able to make in own room. Holiday Inn quality and a great free breakfast. Note that a 2 bed suite is really only an oversized hotel room with a small couch and 2 beds; not a 2 bedroom suite. Last hotel before the drive to the Keys therefore cheaper than staying in Key Largo.

"Recommended considering choices!"
The hotel is the second best hotel in the FL City/Homestead area. Staff is always friendly and courteous. Rooms are a bit musty, but you get over it quick. Location is convenient to Keys and surrounding area.

Everything was superfine, fast, efficient and nice, tidy, comfortable King room for the price. The location is EXCELLENT 15 mins to Everglades / Biscayne / Miami Downtown

"Decent hotel in good location"
Clean rooms were a cramped for family of 4 and felt a bit "tired" and run down. Excellent breakfast in nice big foyer dining area. Good location near retail, groceries and restaurants.
"Totally meets the price"
Very nice hotel for the price. The room is clean and large enough to feel confortable. As it is on the US1, it is easy to find. Close to Everglades National Park and to Key Largo. Nothing to complain about this hotel!

"Nice room bad pool"
The room was Nice with cushy bedding but the pool needed cleaning. All over the pool, brushing, skimming, and vacuuming was needed.
The Holiday inn was a stop before heading to the keys. I was pleasantly surprised the bed was extremely comfortable. Our room was clean, the hallways had a wet type of odor, but that is my only complaint. The continental breakfast was the best on the trip, and it was included. I recommend this as a hotel and quick stop.

"Only affordable hotel in the area with a fitness room"
I stayed at this hotel in October 2009 whlie doing some work in Florida City. This was the only hotel in the area with a fitness room as well as inside room doors (doors to the hallway, instead of to the outside). This isn't in the best area, but it was where my client was so it was my only option. The help was very nice, and the room was adequate. […] Breakfast was better than expected (but I don't want to know how many calories were in the cheese omlet). I will be staying there again in the future. Mehr

Der var generelt problemer med et meget støjende nabolag, samt manglende rengøring på hotellet fra den ene dag til den næste. Ellers ok.

Goed middenklasse hotel voor bezoek Everglades en Key Largo. Florida City zelf is niet veel. Klein zwembad. Ga op tijd ontbijten want om 9.30 wordt alles weggehaald ongeacht hoe vol de ontbijtzaal zit.
Hotel un peu rococo a rafraichir. Sinon environ sans interet hormis les everglades impratquable en juillet aucun animaux tous caches , sauf moustiques bien visible et bien actif ,
