Zentraler geht's nicht mehr, und die Zimmer sind sauber und schön. Frühstück in einer schönen Bar, was will man mehr von Städeferien

Although a bit difficult to find (there are two hotels of almost identical names) the service was exceptional and the room was adorable. We were looking for a quaint, local hotel for our stay in Rome and we certainly found it. Breakfast left a little to be desired as it was not on location but offered at two local bars. It mearly consisted of a croissant, […] coffee, and orange juice, but the price of the hotel certainly made up for it. We could certainly afford a more involved breakfast with the money we saved on accommodations. The hotel is conveniently located to many restaurants, public transports, and walking distance to several "attractions" of Rome. Would definitely recommend... Mehr

I chose this hotel, or guest house as it is called, for the location. It is about a 15 minute walk to the Vatican, 10 minute walk to the Panththeon and 20 minute to the Trevi Foutain. Overall the room was nice and clean. I stayed 3 nights and the first night a fuse blew in the middle of the night and I had no lights in my room and no one is at the front […] desk during the night. The room had windows but very little light came in and it was a little difficult trying to get ready in the morning. The next morning I did tell the front desk about it and when I came back later that evening it was repaired. The third night when our room was cleaned no bathroom tissue was left at all and again no one was at the front desk. The TV never worked the entire time we were there but that was not an issue for us. The neighborhood was quaint and a taxi station was only a few minute walk. The front desk guy let me use his computer with the printer so I could buy tickets to a museum which was helpful. Mehr

Hotel was pretty nice. The bathroom was nice as well for an Italian hotel and was newly renovated. No real complaints about this place except a lack of breakfast (I think you get a voucher for one of 2 local cafes). There is some city tax you need to pay on top of the hotel booking. The room was too simple, but honest, the staff was friendly. And that's it. No luxury. The location, though, is the most impressive in Roma. Right on the corner of Piazza Navona. There is no other hotel with a price not even close to this that near to the main spots. Piazza Navona, Fontana di Trevi, Piazza di Spagna, Sant'Angelo Castel an the Vatican […] are on our way back to the hotel! And everything else within a really close "walking" distance. Mehr

The location is very good and the apartment is fine. Be careful regarding checking. Weekdays is from 9am to 7pm, Saturday 9am to 5pm and Sunday 9am to 1pm. You better show up in those times or call before arriving. The place was good enough. Awesome hotel.....one thing to be aware of....we got there on a Saturday night I think, like 530p....we were dropped off at the alley, walked to our hotel....when we got there, there was a code to get into the main door....like an apartment. (This main door was not directly to the hotel, it lead to several other apartments and the hotel was a renovated […] apartment to be a hotel)....So we did not know the code. We rang the bell....no answer.....we were stranded. There was a couple however inside the main door . they had arrived and had been waiting 2.5 hours to try to get a hold of someone at this hotel. They said the hotel emailed them the code to get into the front door, but there was no one at the front desk of the hotel! No one told us anything about having to get to the hotel before a certain time. If this couple had not also been stranded, we would have been on the street looking for another hotel. What ended up happening, was at the door of the hotel was a gold canister, in the bottom was an envelope with our last name on it and keys inside saying what room name we were in. We let ourselves into the hotel/apartment door and the front desk was empty. we found a room.....our key fit and we let ourselves in. There was no check in. we then continued for the next 45 minutes trying to help the other couple stranded. they eventually got a hold of someone and they were coming over to the hotel to help this couple.....turns out this couple was staying at a different hotel that this hotel owned, but the address they were given was for this hotel. Anyway.....point being........if you book on hotel.com or whatever else.......call the hotel yourself! Ask for the code to the door and when you need to check in by........this was ridiculous and should have never happened......very unprofessional. This actually happened again to another couple a few nights later.....again didn't know about a check in time.... However, the location was absolutely beautiful! We walked to the Piaz Mehr

It is a guest house. Simple, clean and honest. Pretty good surroundings. Really close to the Navona Square.

The owner has 3 hotel locations. This is not clear at all on the Expedia or Hotels.com websites. This review is for 2 locations.The Residenza Domizia is on Via Coronari and the Residenza Domizia Sancti Angeli is across the Ponte Sante Angelo. A friend travelling with us also booked a room as advertised with Hotels.com. She was placed in the Sancti Angeli […] location and we were in the Coronari location. The Coronari location is on the second floor. There is no lift. The building entrance is shabby with holes in the wall. We were put in a very, very small room that was in poor condition. The glass on the shower stall was falling off. The room did not look like any of the pictures online. No headboard on the bed, no desk. The advertised room amenities (bathtubs w/handheld showerheads, shaving mirrors, ceiling fans) did not exist in the rooms we had. There also is no dining room. We paid for a double room with breakfast buffet included. There was no breakfast buffet. We were given a coupon for a coffee and a croissant to be redeemed at a local cafe next door to the Sancti Angeli location but about a 5 min. walk from the Coronari location. The 5 rooms in the Sancti Angeli location were very nice and updated, with sufficient room for two people. We asked to be moved to that location (to be with our friend) and we wanted to stay in the nicer place since we paid for 7 nights stay. The owner/manager was very accomodating and he switched our room to the other location after two nights. Both residences are close to Rome sights. BUT, next time I book, I would be specific and only book the Sancti Angeli location. Mehr

this hotel was in an amazing location. quiet alley yet near piazzo navona. only weird thing was having to walk up some stairs and enter a locked doorway to get there, and no real attendant after hours or services... so once you check in, it's kind of like staying in someone's really nice apartment. the staff at the front desk is super nice and helpful. […] oh, and awesome showers- small but powerful. We had a wonderful experience! The room is small by American standards but very comfortable, clean and a wonderful place to return to after a long day of sightseeing. Air conditioning was great and I would recommend sleeping with ear plugs as the walls are a little thin and if a family is staying next door it can get loud. This is not a wheelchair accessible location and you will have several flights of stairs - I slid my suitcase down the staircase which worked just fine :-) Mehr

Great location. A little difficult to find but near to Piazza Navonne. Lots of very nice restaurants within a very short walk. Lacking some of the conveniences of a standard hotel and the stairs are a challenge with luggage but we would stay there again.

We wanted a cute hotel that wasn't to expensive in a great location and we were not disappointed! The room was stylish and clean, the location was perfect and it was fantastic value! We managed to explore the whole of Rome on foot from this location, and the surrounding area at night is brilliant! Lots of little cafe's and bar's dotted in the wonderful […] little streets. After reading the reviews of this hotel we decided to give it a try. This is the most ideal location to stay in Rome. Literally 1 minute from the Piazza Navona and walking distance to every point in ancient Rome. It's not your typical large hotel - no amenities. From the outside it appears like a residential apartment and once you get to the second […] floor you enter what appears to be an apartment but is instead the entrance to the lobby and other rooms. Each room has a name instead of a number - we stayed in the appropriately named "Piazza Navona". The room was very clean, spacious and charming - completely unexpected for the very reasonable price we paid. Our room overlooked a quiet side street and had 2 large windows with a Juliet style balcony. It was very quiet at night. The rooms are wired for internet access so bring an Ethernet cable with you - I was not able to catch a wireless signal but the wired worked perfectly and was free. There was no in-room safe but they did have a small fridge which was nice. They also have another building with additional rooms across the street, which is where breakfast is served - your basic croissants, cereal and coffee - nothing fancy but nice to have nevertheless. If you happen to get a room here, you will likely hear some noise during breakfast hours - if you are up by 8am then it shouldn’t be an issue, but if you are a late sleeper then try getting a room in the main building. Otherwise we really loved the place and would stay here again. If you need only a room for few days then you can't go wrong. Mehr

The property we stayed at was near the spanish steps and very easy walking distance to all the major sites. The room is nice (by European standards) but small and without air conditioning. It was pretty clean. Be aware that there are quite a few steps that you must carry your luggage down to reach the hotel. And also note that the front desk staff is […] not available 24X7 and the person who manages the front desk spoke minimal English. This can be a problem if you run into a situation like we did when our key didn't work. It took us over an hour to reach someone and we were then informed where to find the "hidden" keys which led to some concerns about the security of the hotel. Overall not bad but we probably wouldn't stay there again. This hotel is for you if you want a boutique or B&B type hotel but otherwise opt for a larger hotel with a front desk staff always onsite. Excellente situation géographique à proximité de la Piazza Navonna et du centre historique, dans une rue calme. A proximité également de nombreux arrêts de bus. Jolie chambre confortable, salle de bains rénovée. Petit déjeuner dans un café à proximité, très sympathique. J'y retournerai avec grand plaisir.

Las fotos publicadas son de uno de los 3 sitios en donde uno puede hospedarse según la disponiblidad. Otro problema es que cuando uno va a registrarse lo hace en la sede central y puede ser que su habitación esté aproximadamente a 300 metros de ese lugar con el inconveniente del traslado del equipage. Otro problema que en la sede cercana al Castel SantÁngelo […] casi no hay espacio para guardar el equipage cuando uno desea hacerlo cuando hace el checkout y tampoco disponen de un baño. Mehr

La residencia esta muy bien, su situacion es perfecta, y calidad-precio inmejorable, lo unico que no recomendaria es la habitacion pegada a la puerta (habitacion plaza de españa) porque te enteras de todas las entradas y salidas de la gente, pero lo demas todo muy bien. Un saludo

Erinomainen sijainti-aamupalan puute iso miinus! Huoneessa kahvintekovälineet, kofeiinilla saa siis aamun käyntiin. Avaimilla meno haasteellista, avain pyöri aina ympyrää kunnes respa neuvoi että sitä käännetään päinvastaiseen suuntaan kuin Abloyta. Henkilökunta viileän kohteliasta, liekö puutteellinen englannin kielen taito. Saimme kuitenkin kaikkiin […] kysymyksiimme vastauksen. linja-autolla pääsee kätevästi suoraan Terminille ja siitä kentälle. Huoneet pienet mutta siistit, sängyt kovat Mehr

Et dejligt sted at bo, rent og pænt.. Midt i hjertet af Rom. Vi havde 4 dejlige dage.

Vi valgte dette guest room, da det fremgik, at det havde bedre faciliteter end et hotelværelse. Vi savnede en stol at sidde på. Eneste mulighed for at hvile benene var at lægge sig på sengen. Beliggenheden var til gengæld meget fin............prisen pr. døgn uden morgenmad for dette værelse er dog meget i overkanten.

1min walk to Piazza Navona, 5min walk to Pantheon, Shopping, 10 min walk to Trevi fountain. Nice hotel. Small but cosy.

Hotellet kan varmt anbefaldes. Ligger godt og lækre værelser.

Hotellet ligger veldig sentralt, to minutters gange til Piazza Navona der det er tilgang til det meste. Stille og rolig gate, hørte ikke lyd om natten. Fint og rent rom, men vårt rom var litt lite. Frokosten er en vits ( en kopp kaffe og en croissant) og du må også ut av hotellet å gå til en cafe for å spise. Men nå det er sagt ,solgte de veldig god […] mat der så det gikk egentlig greit, men ingen vits å bestille rom med frokost. Mehr

Fantastisk beliggenhed, lige ved Piaza Pavona. Få minutter til Fiori og alle de andre dejlige ting. Fantastisk til prisen. DER VAR STILLE. INGEN STØJ. (Skyldes måske at vi havde værelse til baggården) Værelset var nyrenoeret med air con og fint rent badeværelse med brus. Morgenmaden var som den nu engang er i Italien. En croissant og en kop Cappucino, […] som skulle indtges på en caf 300 meter nede af gaden. Jeg synes simpelthen dette hotel var en god deal Mehr

I was very satisfied with my stay at Residenza Domizia, although there was quite a lot of noise coming from the street at night. I would recommend that everyone who stays at this hotel bring earplugs. You have to be a very good sleeper if you won't be bothered by the noise at night. Especially the motorcycles driving by the house make a lot of noise. But […] besides that, I was completely satisfied with my stay. We were eight people staying in separate rooms (I think there are ten rooms in total), and all rooms were nice and clean. The rooms in the main building were very small and hadn’t been renovated recently like the ones in the building across the street, but they all faced the courtyard so they weren’t bothered by the street noise. The rooms across the street were approximately 16 square meters with a nice bathroom (one room has a bathtub). These rooms are renovated quite recently so everything is new and not worn down at all. The beds are alright – they could have been much worse. Since it’s a guest house, there is no kitchen at the hotel, which means no breakfast, but you will receive vouchers for a cup of coffee or tea and a croissant at a café nearby. This is not proper breakfast, so I would suggest that you buy some fruit at a supermarket as a supplement for the croissant. Mehr

Værelset som sådan var fint nok, men opredningssengen var elendig. Meget larm fra gaden, det var svært at sove. Morgenmaden var ikke på hotellet. Man skulle gå 200 meter fra hotellet og hen på en bar for at få sin morgenmad. Desuden var morgenmaden elendig: én croissant og én kop kaffe. Intet smør, marmelade osv. Beliggenheden er rigtig god! huone on tilava ja siisti. Aivain kuin oma pieni asunto keskellä Roomaa. Hotelli sijaitsee pienellä kävelykadulla josta on hyvät yhteydet kaikkialle roomaan. Aamiainen on eri rakennuksessa kadun toisella puolen.
