nice, quiet and safe

Nice stay but was a little disappointed that we had to walk at least a block through the parking lot after driving all over it looking for parking. Then we got a parking charge for both days. I think if we are being charged to park, we should at least be able to park closer to our hotel!!! Other than that all was fine.

Very disappointed. It was the understanding that we could leave our vehicle there while on vacation. Needless to say it costed me anotherj $130. Then they brough us up another invoice for $13.00 for the actual night we sleeped there. Since when do you have to pay for parking at a hotel while you sleep there? my wife and I were coming in on the bus from Iowa City IA for the night in Chicago, and by the time we got to the hotel we were exhausted, and it was such a nice reprieve, the staff were very friendly, our room was so comfortable, we accidentally spilled nail polish in the bathroom, we felt so awful, and the lady at the front desk said it could happen […] to anyone and she alerted the maid to come clean it up...so thoughtful and accommodating...overall, a wonderful stay Mehr

room and condition of location was very good. the lady at the desk was not pleasant, i dont like 2 b talk down 2, we were very tired after a long plane ride. also why charge 4 vehicle when we are staying there.

I have stayed at this hotel at least 5 times now; very good location close to Midway Airport, free shuttle to and from airport. Good eating places all aroun the hotel...one located within the parkling lot at the hotel. Very friendly staff and a very nice breakfast buffet in the morning. I plan on staying again.

This was our second stay at this hotel. We will use it again in the future. We were charged $13 a night for parking, for which we were not the first visit. We will also take our own pillows next time, as they were quite uncomfortable. The ladies at the desk, and perticularly the women who prepared the breakfast buffet were charming, very friendly. No extras. Just clean and nice. Staff were friendly, even at 6 am when we had to leave for the airport.

Easy access from Midway Airport with shuttle. Helpful staff. Breakfast was slightly above average for this market segment.

Overall a good stay. It would have been a little more convenient if the side doors worked. Two different doors we tried two different times with our key card and they didn't work.

I frequently fly into Midway on flights that arrive close to midnight. There is a free shuttle that runs consistently all night so I pick it up and it takes me to the door of the Holiday Inn Express. The night time desk person is warm and friendly. The Holiday Inn Express in Chicago @ Midway is very convenient. The shuttle service to and from Midway Airport, and transportation every 20 mins, makes getting around very easy. You can take a train to gust about anywhere you want to go, without needing to rent a car.

It is one of the hotels on the hotel campus. Even though they did no't have laundry machines at the hotel, they helped us and allowed us to use the laundry facilities at the hotels next door. Very convenient! It's very close to MDW and wal-mart. The only thing is that we had to pay extra for the parking, but I think it was worth it for the safety.

Great room, moved up to a suite, breakfast was good in the morning- service was terrific from all!

All the hotels in the new "Midway Hotel" complex are new, but if you don't have a reason to stay in this part of town I wouldn't recommend staying here. If you do need to be in the Midway area, then it is fine. The hotel is rather new, well maintained and clean. The rooms are well kept too.The staff was very pleasant and helpful, but compared to other […] hotels I have stayed at, it was over priced for what you get. Typically, you would pay 50% less for a similar property like this in any other city. I even had to pay $10/night for parking my car right outside my room in a standard hotel parking lot. That just seemed like an unjustified charge. Considering the distance the hotel is from downtown Chicago, you would be better off driving an extra 10-15 minutes more on the freeway and staying in the suburbs, which would save you quite a bit of money. Free Breakfast that had a lot to choose from. I think there was an exercise room on every floor (there was on the the 4th for sure). The airport is less than a mile away and they give free shuttle rides every 20 minutes. This was a great place to stay. The staff was very friendly and really cared about pleasing their customers. We did have to switch rooms because of noise from the street. The hotel was very clean, beds comfortable, free breakfast in the morning an added perk. The staff at the front desk were awesome, helpful & very friendly! Yes we would definitely stay here again.

The FREE trolley runs 24-hours from Midway airport to the hotel complex. So convenient. We rode the trolley to the airport to catch the El orange line as well.

Close to midway, free shuttle, free breakfast if you dont leave too early, friendly staff, nice room, close to restaurants.

It says there is a pool, but there isn't one. They have a great shuttle service that goes between the airport and the hotel every 20 mins. That's great! They gave us lots of directions, and were very helpful. All in all, this is a great place to stay if you are going to be out and about touring the Chicago area.
