The hotel was very nice, we likes the room design and the breakfast has a variety of food. Beautiful roof top bar and pool area

The hotel was contemporary, clean, and very hip at first glance. The staff was polite and very helpful. We were extremely disappointed that every night at 11:30 or so music started blaring outside and people were partying until 3:30 or 4:00 am...not exactly what we were expecting from a 5-star hotel! We will not be back.

This was our first visit to Barcelona and we enjoyed it very much! The staff at the hotel were so helpful with suggestions of what to see and where to eat-plus the food at the hotel was great as well! We would definitely recommend it to others! Jane and Hank Stamford, CT.

Not a great neighborhood

We booked through Expedia Unpublished rate. We thought we were getting a 5 star hotel close to the beach. We stayed at a 3 star hotel close to the metro stop that gets you to the beach and the rest of the city. Upon arrival, the front desk staff was friendly and stored our luggage until we could check in at 3pm. When we arrived in our room, the room […] looked nice and comfortable. The bathroom floor was dirty with hair and some sticky substance on the floor. The sink was dirty. They never replenished our amenities, so no soap the 2nd & 3rd day of our stay 3 day stay. Overall the room was comfortable. There were 2 seperate beds put together so you can not sleep "together" only next to each other. There is a 4.50E charge for a bucket of ice. Upon departure, we tried to get an elevator to the main lobby to check out. The 4 small elevators were completely full every time it stopped on our floor. I waited 35 mins and finally stuffed myself into a packed elevator. After another 15 minutes of no DH, I asked the front desk to please help my husband who was stuck on the 9th floor. They said they could not help. He had to carry our luggage down 9 flights in order for us to catch a taxi so we wouldn't miss our flight. The wi-fi signal was weak at best. There was no signal 1/2 the time. It is free, so I guess I can't complain too much. We will not stay here again. We took a chance by choosing the Unpublished rate and we will not make that mistake again. Mehr

Very helpful and accommodating staff. Good restaurant and a quick cab ride to the sites. Beds are very comfortable too. Internet worked and was free. I would stay there again.

From the moment we got there, until the moment we left - our experience was superb. The staff spoke English, Spanish, and Catalan. They were extremely knowledgeable about the area and ALWAYS treated us courteously. Breakfast was so yummy and was even discounted after we signed up for their hotel membership. Being a spoiled sleeper, I am always hesitant […] when I travel to Europe...I was pleasantly surprised with how comfy both the bed and mattresses were. The service was excellent - way above what was expected. I had just come off a cruise, the room was not ready and I had several bags. They brought them up to the room when the room was ready before I got back to check in. That was very much appreciated. The hotel is very nice, the rooms are updated and modern and the free Wi-fi was perfect to get caught […] up on emails after 9 days with spotty satellite internet service. The automatic curtains are cool. The lighting options take a bit to get used to, but once you do it works well. But - my room was missing the shower door, the battery was not in the TV remote, and I believe there were food items missing from my minibar snacks, I'm hoping I do not get charged for those, a friend in another room pointed out I didn't have several items that was in their basket. There is also a definite smell of moldy water damage in the hallway on my floor that was pretty over powering. Mehr

I really enjoyed my stay at the Hotel ME in Barcelona. I found the staff very friendly and the Hotel was beautiful. I was a little disappointed by the view from our room on the 6th floor though. This hotel is a high tech looking place which most people staying at hotels are not used to seeing. The hall and the room door is made out of the stainless steel and brightly lighted. The room doors have proximity readers, which was cool. The room's window drapes and lightning are centrally controlled by the bedside control console. The room was well […] soundproofed, quite and comfortable. The shower was very nice, with a big overhead shower design. The only thing that bugged me was the windows were not kept clean which ruined the beautiful views out of the room. I failed miserably to take some clean pictures out of those windows. The breakfast buffet in the morning was great and the service even greater with friendly bilingual staff that spoke English! The hotel includes a nice parking garage for those driving down there like us, but it might get expensive for overnight stays easily for some travelers. Although we arrived at the hotel two hours early, our room was ready for us, and it was no problem whatsoever to check in early. The staff were all friendly and helpful and spoke excellent English. The hotel's motto is "everything is possible", and you are made to feel that you can ask for anything you need. The room was clean and bright, with one wall having large windows so you could see over the city. The facilities in it were great too, and the bed was the most comfortable I have ever slept in! Although the hotel itself is a little out of the city centre, it's still not far from things, and there are lots of places to eat and shop in the area, and the city centre itself is only a few stops away on the metro, which is a ten minute walk from the hotel. Hotel de diseño con tendencia hortera. En las habitaciones no se puede leer porque apenas hay luz. Es imposible maquillarse con la luz del baño. venlig modtaget ,og så hørte alt også op,de var flinkee til at finde andre spisemuligheder da i de 4 dage vi var der kunne vi ikke få bord i deres restaurant .alt for meget larm ,med dico med folk der kom kl 24 og blev til tidlig på morgen,gæster udefra? og larmet ved swimmingpoolen.det er ikke et 5 stjernet hotel.

Quede muy impresionado por el hotel. Excelente mobiliario, ambiente, servicio, instalaciones! Se encuentra algo lejos de la zona turística pero esta bien conectado a través del metro y definitivamente vale la pena realizar el recorrido. Muy buena relación precio/calidad.

Hôtel moderne et design. Chambre confortable. Un peu excentré pour la vie nocturne cependant.

bel hôtel, personnel jeune et très sympathique, piscine très agréable, buffet petit déjeuner pas mal du tout quoi que un peu répétitif. Lit king size fort appréciable. Le seul petit point noir serait le fait que l'hôtel soit assez excentré.

je reviens de mon sejour au me by melia. Si on aime le design, cet endroit est fait pour vous: la décoration de l'hotel est vraiment tres belle. les chambres sont belles avec une tres jolie vue. point fort aussi pour la literie. c'est un lieu reserve quand meme aux jeunes avec pas mal d'argent, c'est champagne a gogo au bord de la piscine. les autres […] residents de l'hotel ne se disent pas bonjour entre eux. c'est une forme de snobisme que je n'apprécie pas beaucoup par contre. le petit est extrêmement cher. nous déjeunions donc dans un snack qui est situe en face de la porte du metro el fondo, à 5 min de l'hotel. c'est tres sympas et les commerçants tres gentils. Hotellet ligger i gå afstand til de lækre badestrande i Barcelona. Dog er der langt ind til byens øvrige seværdigheder som La Rambla etc. Værelserne på hotellet er lækre og komfortable og udsigten er fantastisk. Hotellet kan anbefales såfremt man ikke ønsker at bo inde midt i byen.

Excellent accueil, hôtel proche du métro (5 min) et du centre ville par les transports en commun. Parking sous-sol. Très bon séjour dans cet hôtel.

Hotellet var imponerende flot og checket. Morgenbuffet over al forventning, men rengøringen på værelset var noget mangelfuld (meget støv på hylder). Desuden var vores toiletsæde i stykker, men det lykkedes os selv at fixe det. Brug af Spa-faciliteter kostede ekstra (10 Euro), selvom vi havde købt en suite (og ikke bare et alm. værelse), hvilket virkede […] lidt småligt. Derud over var hotellet super flot og folk var ovenud servicemindede og hjælpsomme. Maden på hotellet er suveræn, men omgivelserne er p.t. noget kedelige. Hele området omkring Pobleneu er under renovation, så der er byggepladser og usle lejlighedskomplekser i umiddelbar nærhed, men det kan hotellet jo ikke gøre for! Vi vil klart bruge dette hotel igen hvis chancen opstår - metroen er kun 3-4 minutters gang væk, så det er superfint! Mehr
