Petit Lafitte Hotel - Playa del Carmen

Das Petit Lafitte ist mehr als nur zu empfehlen. Es ist ein kleines Hotel, das familiär geführt wird. Die ganze Organisation wird von zwei Familien übernommen. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit bei allen Angelegenheiten. Wir hatten einen Bungalow gebucht, der nur ein paar Meter vom direkt am Hotel grenzenden Strand gelegen war. Zum Einschlafen […] kann man das Meer rauschen hören. Dank Ventilator und Klimaanlage waren die Temperaturen kein Problem. Die Küche hat einen super Job gemacht, morgens gab es frisches Obst, Säfte, Kaffee oder Tee - und man konnte sich etwas leckeres von der Karte aussuchen. Abens gab es ein vier Gänge Menü. Das Hotel liegt ein wenig von der Trubelgegend in Playa del Carmen entfernt - man kann sich also sehr gut entspannen. Eigentlich kann ich über dieses Hotel gar nichts negatives sagen. das hotel petit lafitte liegt direkt am strand.wenn man baden gehen möchte , muss man etwa 100m laufen. das hotel liegt etwa 7km von playa del camen entfernt. es gibt kein shattel. man muss ein taxi ordern. das hotel ist ein kleines ruhiges. die küche ist sehr gut und das personal höflich und freundlich. die zimmer sind groß und mit klimaanlage und […] ventilator bestückt.jeden tag werden die zimmer gereinigt.ein mal die woche wird( mittwochs) ein mittel gegen moskitos gespritzt.ein mückenspray sollte unbedingt im reisegepäck sein. ich empfehle das hotel weiter. We loved our stay and plan to return. The staff were wonderful. The place lovely.....we didn't want to go anywhere but there! Next time we will stay in a bungalow but found our room and bed very comfortable though a bit run down. Food was excellent!

Definitely a hidden gem. Service is top notch, the bungalows are terrific...clean, new bathrooms, and stand alone. The beds were a little firm however. There are two rows of bungalows beginning near the ocean then filing back. Number one is tooooo close to the bathroom and bar, number 9 is the front one on the other row and is PERFECT. As you go further […] down...2,3,4, etc you get further from the beach. 10, 11, 12, etc will do the same. If you can afford a bungalow...DO IT! The Petite is tiny...only 38 rooms total. The other rooms than the bungalows are neatly arranged in buildings 3 high right off the pool, restaurant and bar . It is a long narrow lot facing the ocean...they've done a great job with what they have. The service was top notch. A manager coming around every day to check on everything...the meals and your accommodations. If something wasn't perfect, they would do their best to make it that way. Noise was a little issue for us...a couple was up late at night talking...just talking, but loudly. We had to sleep with our windows closed which wasn't what we came to the ocean for. This place is great. Staff were so friendly, food lovely, room perfect, plus the best bit of beach (people from other resorts had to swim out the front of petite because there were no rocks). If you're looking for a smaller hotel (not a resort) for a romantic yet fun holiday or honeymoon where you wake up in the morning and step onto the sand with a […] view of the carribean, look no further. This hotel offers what the giant mega-hotel cannot, a warm intimate stay right on the beach. The staff knew our names and treated us like family. The food was good and safe. The lovely grounds place one in a tropical beach environment and not in a mausoleum of cut marble like the other giant hotels. The place is quiet, clean, safe, relaxing and fun. […] At Petite Lafitte you can focus on what vacation is all about, relaxing. Great place for kids too even though we didn't bring ours. Went with my sister (we are in our 40's and 50's) We loved Petit Lafitte! If you want to get away from the hustle and bustle of the all inclusives and sit back on a quiet beach, lay on a hammock, drink a delicious strong margarita or sangria then this is your place.. We go to Mexico every year and have stayed at all inclusives, such as Las Americans, […] Dreams, Secrets, Iberostar and we picked this as our favorite. No whistles and bells, but beautiful beach, great food, friendly staff, no wristbands.....you feel like you are at a beach camp where everyone knows your name. We went into playa del carmen one night for dinner and shopping and it was about 15 minutes one way, and a taxi about $14 each way. We felt very safe even at night in playa. We actually got a bit lost walking the streets and a very friendly police officer who spoke English was extremely helpful. Note: They have a bird refugee on site and they REALLY need anything you can supply such as bird toys for stimulation, seed, gravel paper, food and water cups, anything you would put in a birdcage back home. The birds are absolutely beautiful but you will wish that you brought something to make their life a little sweeter. They simply don't have the resources and funds that we have to help. This resort hotel far exceeded our expectations. Perfect location, great food, and exceptional service. I would not have changed a thing with our stay there. If you are looking for a perfect getaway to a quiet intimate hotel, this is the place to be. We will most definitely be returning. Try and get a beach front bungalow.

I met my brother from the UK here, his travel agent fround the hotel and it was a real gift. A quite beach front spot that had everything we needed to just 'hang out' and catch up. The staff are friendly anticipating our needs before you are aware of them. The food is excellent, we were never disappointed whether breakfast, lunch or dinner! Overall, we loved this little place. It's placed right on the beach in between 5 star hotels but if l had the choice again l'd stay here because it has a charm that none of the 5 star hotels had i.e. you felt it was all yours and didn't have the sterilness of some big hotels. The staff were truly fantastic and they really made our stay as they were […] so friendly and helpful but never intrusive. l can't sing their praises enough. The food was so good we never went out to eat anywhere else. The rooms are literally right next to the beach so your views are picture perfect and you're far enough away from the hubub of the 5 star hotels. Everything was clean and well maintained, the internet was fast and free and when my wife had an allergic reaction to a mosquito bite the staff were very accomodating and helpful. If l had a gripe the bungalows had very minor cracks in the joins in the roofs which is where the mosquitos got in (it was raining when we got there though - hence the mosquitos) and these need to be addressed. The staff knowledge of activities and where to go was always honest and very helpful and as a result of that we found some great little places off the tourist trail. The hotel is about 8km's from central playa del carmen which is ideal as your close enough to it to access it but far enough away not to get pulled into a tourist trap. The only downside l would say is that we drove to Petite Laffite and getting to the general destination was easy but more signs to petite laffite are a must. Had we not see the only one on the highway we could have been driving round for a long time. Also, the approach road was a pot hole haven and this too must be addressed. Don't be put off by the 3 star rating. l'd go back again and l frequently stay at 4 and 5 star hotels. Mehr

We loved this hotel and returned after 15 yrs. Our room was about 50 feet from the water. We got to know almost everyone who was staying there. It is small and very friendly and the staff are the best. The service was outstanding. Can't wait to go back.

Albergo, carino, gradevole, funzionale alle esigenze, non uno dei mega resort tipici della zona. Spiaggia: ottima piscina: carina Colazione: eccezionale Cena: poverina (un solo piatto principale)

I can only recommend this hotel to people that are searching a quiet and very beautiful place. the hotel is 15min outside of Playa and has its own private beach. the food is excelent and the staff very helpful.

Petit Lafitte es sinónimo de hotel en la riviera maya como hace diez años: Tranquilo, acogedor, muy bonito y familiar. Nuestra estancia fué perfecta pues nuestro objetivo era descansar y no sólo conseguimos hacerlo sino que nos sentimos mimados por el personal y por las instalaciones. Bravo Petit Lafitte!!!

Quel charmant petit hôtel directement sur la plage. Notre chambre avec vue sur l'océan était parfaite, pas le grand luxe mais juste assez bien pour des voyageurs habitués à du 4 ou 5 étoiles. Comme une auberge rustique à caractère mexicain et non américain, quelle expérience magnifique et des employés aux petits soins pour leurs invités. Le service […] hors-pair, la nourriture surprenante pour un petit hôtel, des fruits frais, du bon café et des choix multiples pour le petit déjeuner, deux choix de repas pour le dîner avec salades, soupe et desserts, un bar avec un petit menu pour le déjeuner sur le bord de la mer. Un artisant qui peint de magnifiques oeuvres d'arts, super sympatique, vous pouvez en peindre vous-même ou en acheter si cela vous plaît. J'en ai acheté quatre pièces signé par l'artisant lui-même. Des hamacs, de l'ombre avec des chaises confortables, une piscine pour ceux qui n'aiment pas se baigner dans la mer. Le seul petit problème c'est qu'il y a beaucoup de coraux dans la mer en face de l'hôtel donc il vaut mieux marcher un peu plus loin pour aller dans la mer, en fait pas si problématique pour nous. とっても静かで、きれいなホテルでした。 カンクン内ではないので、とても落ち着いており、プライベートビーチもとてもきれい。しかも食事が美味しくて、無料の朝のフルーツは特に大満足でした。朝食は無料で、しかも夕飯もリーズナブル。名前を覚えてくれ、とってもフレンドリー。読んでくれるタクシーの値段もも安心だし、かわいい動物園やバーもついていて、朝から夜まで楽しめるホテルだと思います。 又泊まりたいです。
