Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites San Antonio I-10 NW - San Antonio

Well first off we missed turn to hotel then as we found another route to hotel the neighborhood was disgusting. The hotel was surround by the ghetto basically, I was litterally scared that my car would get broken into. They had very limited parking in the front, the rest was on side of hotel and in back where there were yards of homes right up on parking […] lot. I was not pleased with the room due to the fact our air conditioner said 60 on auto but our room stayed warm and we tried adjusting the air and it would not blow cold like it should have bee. We slept with sheet all night with no comforter. Mehr

We have stayed at this hotel on numerous occasions. When we have stayed at this hotel, we have become accustomed to VIP treatment. Since the hotel was completely full you could tell thinks were a bit different.

I have stayed in a lot of hotels and this was one of the best ones. The staff was very friendly and accommadating. The room was very clean and the bed was wonderful. I'll stay here again.

Awesome location to everything!

Our stay was ok. The hotel is in a great location and so was the breakfast but the condition to be a new hotel was not up to part. The ventilation was poor, either you were to hot or to cold. The window seal had dead bugs and the double-sided window pane was separated from the frame, we finally figured out where the bugs were coming from. Hotel staff […] very nice. I loved my stay here, very convenient location, and friendly staff.

I went for a family visit over a 4 day weeked ad was pleasantly surprised at how nice the hotel and my room were. The room was large with a king bed and a couch and table. The large flat screen tv could be turned to be seen from bed or the lounge area. There was a refrigerator and microwave in the room and also a work desk. This hotel is centrally located, easy to find and convenient to everything I could thing of needing!

I enjoyed my stay at this hotel. It was very close to I-10 and there are a few restaurants nearby for lunch and dinner. We had two things that were 'eh': The temperature in the room was hard to manage because 72 was too hot, 71 was too cold. Fan on high, fan on low, etc. The breakfast bar would serve biscuits and no gravy. The pancake machine at breakfast […] is AMAZING! It'd be nice if it made more than one at a time, but hey it's pancakes. The housekeeping staff responds promptly to requests and the front desk staff always greeted me when I came in. When I checked out at 4AM I could not get in touch with a person which concerned me, however, because my room was prepaid I left my keys on the counter in full view of the security camera. Mehr

This was the second time I had stayed at this hotel & was really happy with my room!

Friendly Staff, Clean inside and out, also smells great!

The staff was extremely friendly, and room was comfortable. The bath tub had a minor problem with the speed of the drainage, but it was overall a pleasant experience. The staff was able to accommodate all of our room needs, and the price of the room was excellent. Would definitely stay here again.

The hotel seems fairly new, if i had to guess it's "age" i'd say its like 4-5 yes old, looks updated but some things need better care, like the carpet seems a lil older or dirty, tho it did not smell which was good and they need better pillows... The regular rooms seemed a lil small to me, i rented a Executive King Suite and was very nice big and airy […] but hotels.com screwed up and didnt let them kno so when i got there they gave me a standard room and it seemed small to me, i let them kno immediately and they moved me to a suite w a king bed, very nice of the clerk to help me out... overall i REALLY RECCOMEND it, the hotel is really nice, breakfast bar is one of the best ive ever had, is in a great location, very upscale and is right off the highway! Nice neat hotel , employees could smile more

This Hotel is excellent !!.. In great location close to LaCantera shopping and Restaruants..Next time in San Antonio will definetly stay again. Everyone is so nice and professional.

All around good value for the $$$...only sugestion would be to hire some "smiling faces" to greet the guests.

my car was broken into and i spend my saturday with the police and looking for a place to get my window and stereo replace, so i could drive back to east texas.

This was the second time I stay at same location.Rooms were clean and close to Mall and other stores and restraunts.

We took the desition to spened a better stay and based in the name we chose Hollyday Inn, Bad desition the problem was the room ,first of all My wifes cell wifi connection didnt work and thats so bad ,the bed was noisy all the time the pillows were so unconfortable the mini refrigirator had a noisy fan *(rest no way )and at the morning my children and […] i tryed to spend a good time in the pool but it was opened until 11 am and the check out was at 12 hellow.we have had better times in other hotels that were less expensive. the hotel is very nice and clean. free breakfast saves you money and time.hotel is just 5 minutes from six flags..this hotel is great for the price..got a suite and it is very spacious..seaworld is just about 15 minutes abd has easy acces to the i-10...will stay there again...

The staff was great! Rooms cleaned, saved money on eating the full breakfast they offered. It has been the best hotel we have stayed in. I will book holiday inn again!

Everything was good no complaints except for the fan in RR didn't work..many breakfast choices which was great for my kids! Would have prefered to b closer to Sea World but still in great location to restaurants and shopping!

Our stay at Holiday Inn Express was wonderful! We had our three year old and a five month old baby and the room was very spacious and clean. Very comfortable beds and complimentary breakfast was yummy! My only complaint about their location is that you could not turn left out of the hotel. You had to turn right and drive a little while then do a u-turn. […] Otherwise good location and great hotel! Mehr

THIS IS ONE OF THE BEST HOTELS I HAVE BEEN TO COMPARE TO OTHER HOTELS AT THE SAME PRICE. GOOD COUSTOMER SERVICE, VERY CLEAN, NICE AND CLEAN POOL AND A SUPER GOOD BREAKFAST THAT INCLUDE A LOT OF DIFFERENT CHOISES OF FOOD. I CAN SAY THAT THIS HOTEL HAS NOT FORGOTTEN WHAT COUSTOMER SERVICE IS ALL ABOUT.

Went for memorial weekend with my husband and son, had a great time, room was great, staff was great!

we always stay at holliday express because we know it is always the same. clean comfortable @ great personal.

I was only there one night for a last minute business trip but the staff was very friendly and helpful. The bed was very comfortable and cozy. The breakfast was hot and hit the spot.

The hotel was a very basic mid-grade Holiday Inn. The phone number is answered by a recording that states that the hotel will open in Spring 2011, and you cannot reach a live person or leave a message. You have to go down to the front desk to get a remote control for the TV. The mini-refrigerator was unplugged upon check-in. We did not initially notice, […] so we had to unload the refrigerator and pull it out to plug it in. Housekeeping turns the A/C off, so when we returned to the room each evening, it was quite warm and stuffy. Mehr

The hotel is off the highway and behind a car dealership. However, the inside accomodations made up for all of that. Once in you are recieved with a great level of professionalism. The staff are kind and attended to my every need. An hour into my stay, the front desk called to determine if everything was fine within my room. We were only there for one night for a conference, didn't have a whole lot of time to spend there, the breakfast was very good, better selection than at higher priced hotels. Very courteous clerks at the front desk, have no complaints.

The hotel smelled odd. But the staff was super nice. The room was reasonably clean. The beds were comfy.

great job by all the staff!!! good food for breakfast. All employees polite and helpful. You can tell mgmt. is good because all employees were happy and seemed to enjoy job and boss. He was working along side of them , not just sitting in the office. I will surely stay there again.

Really enjoyed the stay here it was VERY clean and neat!! Also very quite!! Very nice hotel 100% worth the money. Breakfast was also pretty good! I will most def stay here again! I was very satisfied!

Very quiet and cozy hotel located in a nice neighborhood. It's on a one way road and not within walking distance of food or shopping,

Beautiful hotel on the outside. We checked in after a day at Sea World. We were very exhausted. The fold-out couch still had used bedding stuffed inside from a previous guest. I went to the front desk to get clean bedding. She said she would bring them to us and never did. They were very friendly though. The bathroom could use improvements. The tile […] was not in good shape. The toilet was loose, so every time one of us sat down, it moved and it was very noisy from it being loose. In the fitness room, only 1 of the 3 fitness machines were working. Overall, it was descent. The bedding was the main issue. Good continental breakfast. Mehr

Overall the hotel was very nice, however check the map before you drive around looking for it. It is tricky to get to if you are headed south on I-10.

The hotel was clean and reasonably new. Our room was clean, and comfortable. The only problem was that the Internet didn't work, either wireless or wired. We spoke with the front desk, but they weren't able to solve the problem. If this were during the week, it would have been a disaster. On the weekend, not a major problem, but not a good thing.
