Hotel Le Jolie - New York

We stayed in Le Jolie for 8 nights. It is an awesome hotel in Williamsburg (Brooklyn) where you can find a lot of bars and restaurants around Bedford Av nearby. Le Jolie is located close to the L line subway train. It just takes a five minute walk from the hotel to Lorimer station. We found a very clean and well-sized room containing a flat screen TV, […] a hair dryer, a flat iron, a safe and a refrigerator. There are 2 bottles of free water refilled every day. You will also find shower gel, shampoo and conditioner in the bathroom. They even provide free post cards and stamps (if you send the cards within the US). They have a free to use PC and printer in the lobby which makes it easy to print directions and check in online. The complementary breakfast containes bagels, muesli, yogurt, spead, coffee, tea and a bunch of juices. If you are traveling by car you can find a parking area in front of the building. Our flight was in the evening so we were happy that there was a luckage room where our bags were stored safely while we enjoyed our last day in the city. Unfortunately, there is a bigger street next to the hotel, so it can be a little noisy at night. Maybe you want to bring some ear plugs. The staff was very kind and helpful. We can strongly recommend the Le Jolie hotel and we would definitely stay there again. Mehr

Das Hotel liegt in Brooklyn Williamsburg - unweit von zahlreichen hippen Bars, Cafés, Restaurants und kleinen Läden. Nach Manhattan ist es nur eine Station mit der Subway. Die Zimmer sind klein, aber sauber und ordentlich eingerichtet, inklusive riesigem TV. Es gibt für alle ein kostenloses kleines Frühstück. Ich würde wieder hinfahren!

very clean room...location was convenient to Manhattan...just over the bridge...within minutes of the BARCLAY CENTER...breakfast was good....hotel looked and felt newer....water pressure in room was better than my home !...overall a very good choice.

I was in NY for biz for 12-hours and needed to be in Brooklyn. This hotel was great. Good local restaurants in area, i walked to all my meetings and left super early (before breakfast was served). Only complaint is that room is very small!! tough to sit at the desk and work w/ bed behind you. Else I'd stay there again.

I loved staying at this wonderful little hotel in Brooklyn. Close to subway and easy access to Manhattan. Very close to Greenpoint - loved this Polish section of Brooklyn. Nice hotel, my go to in Brooklyn. They didn't have my queen room as booked available and put me in a twin. Kind of a bummer, but nice clean affordable hotel close to the action in Williamsburg.

For a business stay this hotel is perfect. The rooms are small but adequate. Of course any room you book in NY is small so no surprise here. The parking is free which is a huge bonus and they include a continental breakfast in your rate which was nice. It's not in the nicest area of Brooklyn but when you are only there to be convenient to the customer […] it is fine. The only drawback is there are no restaurants within walking distance but there were plenty to choose from for delivery. Overall, a good place. I would stay here again. Mehr

This is a nice, clean hotel with a friendly staff right in the middle of Williamsburg in Brooklyn. We stayed their while visiting our daughter and it was a pleasant walk to her place. It's right beside the BQE off-ramp, but it was still quite quiet for a city hotel. Lots of places to eat and drink within an easy walk.

Very friendly at check in. Room was typical size for NYC - have paid much more at other hotels for similar size. Rooms were clean, and well laid out. Location close to the L and all of Williamsburg hipster bars. A great reliable hotel for a more than reasonable price. Free parking puts in in the tip top for my future NY trips.

We loved the free parking and breakfast included and were able to take coffee to our room in the morning. Comfortable beds and pillows but I was a little hot with the big fluffy comforter despite having the heat turned way down. We ate at a very good Italian restaurant very close by, Bemonte's. Brooklyn is the best and we plan to return.

The room was a pleasant surprise, very clean and orderly. Just enough room for a nice stay. Very quiet despite overlooking the bypass. Very comfortable mattress and warm quilt. The shower was great, good hot water and plenty of pressure. Plenty of shampoo, body wash and conditioner, plus extras such as q-tips and mini sewing kit. The TV worked great […] and the free breakfast was good enough to get your motor revved for the day (cereal, yogurt, fresh fruit, croissants, bagels, teas and coffee). Also, free newspapers and business area with computer access. What more could you ask for the price! Mehr

Great hotel with a very friendly and helpful staff. However, it is directly next to the highway and the working space is minute - even a slender person one can barely fit into the space for the chair at the work station. Limited work lighting as well. Hotel is pretty standard. Clean but noisy as it is right next to a raised highway. Close to several subway lines though, so very easy to get around from here. Breakfast is standard hotel breakfast (for me inedible) but there is always coffee and tea available which is nice. If the price was good I'd stay here again.

other than the little in-room refer not working, it was a great little hotel. Clean, great beds, way more quiet than you'd think from the location. A few blocks from the L, and neat food places all over. Wireless had occasional issues, but generally was good. Nice staff. Breakfast is carbs and caffeine, Parking onsite. Hotel Le Jolie is located right next to the BQE, midway between what I call "downtown hipsterville" (Bedford Av between N 1st and N 11th) and some other very cool 'hoods in Williamsburg. You'll pay a typically expensive New York price to stay here, given that the room is just about big enough for the queen bed to fit in (and that's it), but the bed's […] firm, the room's clean and neat, the bathroom is decently appointed, and the service is friendly and prompt. It's easy to walk to any number of great neighborhoods, good restaurants and shopping, and has easy access to the L and G transit lines. Little things, like they'll watch your luggage for you if you still have the day ahead after checkout; providing umbrellas to guests (and to guests' son!), and having a car service on call, add up to a superior experience. This was a highly rated hotel, and I expected more from the experience. It was extremely small, and very expensive. It was clean though. The front desk people were pleasant, but they couldn't do anything about the small room or the expense. It felt more to me like a frequent traveler inn for twice the price.

Although small, our room was clean, modern, and well laid out with all necessary provisions, and the staff was quite helpful overall. The hotel is near by the BQE and some abandoned buildings in a rapidly changing neighborhood, but the dual windows kept the freeway noise very low and there were no problems. We have tried several options in Williamsburg […] and this provided the best combination of quality at an affordable price, even though it is not as "trendy" as some of the more expensive new options in the neighborhood. We were in a room this time that was near the ice machine, so it was noisy when people used the machine. However, the room was on the first floor, which was very convenient to breakfast room for morning coffee. Quality windows blocked outside noise. Staff failed to provide working keys after 3 attempts and the bathroom was not as clean as this newly built hotel. Otherwise this was a great stay comparable to any courtyard or HI express hotel in NYC

Booked Le Jolie due to good reviews on several websites. The staff were very welcoming and anticipated all our questions and requests, including a useful local map. located on an industrial street, I felt I uncomfortable as a single woman arriving by myself. A security window @ the checkin did not make me feel any better. Others have complained about the noise because of other occupants in nearby rooms, and highway noise. We could hear the occupants when we were outside the room, but once we entered the room it was fine. Didn't notice the highway noise. After that it was easy to leave the car and take the subway. There was a station within easy walking distance to get to Manhattan.
