The room I booked was listed as being a double-queen with a sofa bed. Our room had no sofa. I asked the clerk at the desk about this, she said no rooms had sofas, that was an error on the website (very disappointing hilton) -- but she offered to put us in the handicap accessable room with a rollaway bed -- which turned out to be even better. The slide […] in the pool was closed when we were there due to no life guard on duty, that was the main reason we booked the hotel, I don't recall seeing any times for when the slide was open on the website. But we will definitely stay again anyway next time we are in Albuquerque. The hotel was nice and the staff were great. Mehr

My wife and I spent four nights at the Garden Inn on Americas Parkway in Albuquerque, NM in March 2012. Everything was in ship shape. Our room was well-appointed, quiet and clean. The breakfast in the hotel dining room was perfect. There was a small charge for a Continental breakfast, and a larger charge for a full breakfast, cooked to order. Both meals […] were delicious. Service was first rate with Sergio in charge. We were greeted by the General Manager, Anna, who helped us celebrate our occasion with a bottle of champagne sent to our room. I am a Hilton fan and have stayed in Hilton Hotels in the USA and abroad. The beds in this hotel were the most comfortable I have slept on. The room was very clean, concierge phoned when I arrived in my room to make sure I had everything I need, as well as direct me to a restaurant. I thought it was a good palce to stay, there was a movie theater just down the road and bar/eatery next door it seemed to be in a business part of town and for friday there was really no one around the neighborhood or traffi, if you want a fast food place you have to drive a few mile to get there, luckily i had a navigator since I didn't know the city, […] my kids liked the indoor pool with a water slide it was all good I recomend it.....But I didnt like the freeway being so close it was noisey im sure the other side of the building would've been great we had a room next to the freeway.; Mehr

This hotel was nice with comfortable beds and down pillows. Our room window was facing the interstate so the traffic was noisy all night and could hear a baby crying next door both nights. I didn't mind the baby as much, I was just surprised the sound traveling through the walls easily. I will ask for a room not facing the interstate next time. The […] pool had a slide,but had limited hours of utilization, so we were disappointed. Spa was also cleaned and maintenance during peak hours and could not use. Otherwise a nice hotel. Although the hotel has a 2-story water-slide which can be fun, the pool itself is TINY! With even just a few people in it, it gets VERY crowded.

Very disappointed we expected more for a Hilton . The mattress was terible . The breakfast and service was horrible they had people order food and left cause it took to long. What we did enjoy was the restaurant next door

The hotel in Albuquerque was excellent. Everyone on staff was very friendly. Coffee was always available in lobby along with great cookies in the afternoon. The room was spacious, comfortable and very clean. Overall we really enjoyed our stay there and would recommend it to anyone.

Perfect hotel

I was very impressed by the lobby of the hotel as we walked in. It had a sharp, clean look. The room was well appointed, quiet, and the temperature controls worked perfectly. After driving over 700 miles from Austin, Texas, that morning, it was a pleasure to be able to relax in such a pleasant environment. All roads closed for travel, so got this on-line while waiting for roads to open! In Uptown, so got last minute Christmas shopping done!

We were traveling through and found this hotel to be in an excellent location to the highway, surrounded by restaurants & shopping. I wanted something that was easy on & off to I-40 and it was perfect. The staff was friendly, room was very nice, clean & comfortable. Breakfast was great in the morning! I highly recommend staying here.

Very typical Hilton quality throughout - nice beds and bedding, clean rooms -- location very close to I-40 and about 15 minutes from ABQ airport. Our requested wake-up call did not come through, but we had set our cell phone as a back-up and made our plane on time.

Overall, the stay was okay, but I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone if they had to experience the customer service I had. I booked a standard bed room because they're were four of us staying in the room. When we got up to our room it was a King bed. Went to the fron desk to try and address our problem and come up with a resolution but the so called […] "front desk manager" was unwilling to help. This lady had an attitude about everything and would cut me off before I could finish what I was saying. When I got on the phone with and was on hold with hotels.com, that is when she decided to help. I was through with her and had my girlfriend deal with her. The front desk recpetionist was much more pleasant to deal with then the other lady. She said sorry and was willing to help, got us an extra bed, and gave us free breakfast. The overall room was nice, but the walls seemed thin because we had to call the front desk on the people that were way loud partying next to us. The breakfast was good. I stand by my word that I don't recommend this place unless you have to stay their on a short notice. Mehr

This hotel's south side borders I-40; if you have a room with a south facing window you will hear high traffic noise all night long. We didn't get much rest. If you're a heavy sleeper though and noise doesn't bother you; the hotel was clean, the staff was friendly and its pretty easy to get to.

My sister and I were passing through town and made a reservation with the Hilton through hotels. com. We had to change our reservation and the hotel was very accomadating. Hotels.com forgot to change our reservation with the hotel but the manager accepted our reservation and smoothed things over very nicely. Room service arrived promotly and they offered […] free wifi. The breakfast staff in the morning was extremely nice and helpful. Our food was great and so were the selections. We'll definitely be staying here if we pass though again. Mehr

This is a great hotel. Great service, clean rooms and good location. My only complaint is that the mattress was little firm for my liking. However, I will definitely stay here again when I get back to ABQ.

Easy on/off from I-40. One of the most comfortable hotel beds I've ever slept on!

Was looking for a new hotel to stay in ABQ and found it. Definitely will stay again. Great price and great hotel.

Nice hotel with good people. Willing to work with us when we needed extra time in the morning. Breakfast was nice and prices were posted.

Hotel met all my expectations. Comfortable and clean. Very friendly staff.

Our entire family stayed in 4 different rooms while attending a funeral. The concierge couldn't have been more gracious during our stay. She is really a first-class individual, along with the whole hotel.

Very nice and accommodating.

I was at this hotel for a conference nearby. As a hotel it's fine, but if you are here to see the city I'd stay closer to downtown. Public bus service is very good to this location but its not within walking distance of anything worth seeing. There are some shops and restaurants nearby but nothing historical or noteworthy. The kids especially loved the pool with its slide. The rooms were very comfortable, in fact, initially we were put on the side by the freeway. But we asked for a change because you could hear the traffic. The desk clerk was very prompt in changing our room. We would definitely recommend and stay at the Hilton again.

This is a gorgeous little hotel. Great location everything was spotless and the bed was awesome. My only dissapointment is that we were on the south side of the building and exposed to the noise from the freeway which is noticeable all the time.

We truly enjoyed our stay. The rooms were very clean and comfortable. Our daughter had a wonderful time at the indoor pool and water slide. We also had dinner at the hotel, but on that part of it, I would recommend going out to a nearby restaurant. Overall, we would recommend this hotel to our family and friends. We would stay there again.

What a nice place to stay. It is super convenient to some great shopping and restaurants. Easy access from the Interstate. It was a great deal in comparison to the surrounding places to stay. Most of those cost more but didn't have the same amenities. It had an indoor pool with slide, free wireless access, and an excellent decor. Parking was great. […] The only thing was our room was on the highway side. It was a little noisy so if you are a light sleeper specifically ask for the mall or non-freeway side. It didn't bother my kids at all and only bothered me when I awoke because of other reasons. It was a pleasant surprise since I haven't returned to Albuquerque in 20 years. We had a great visit. Mehr

This is a very large HGI. They have great amenities including a bar, room service, and good bathroom toiletries (Neutrogena). Staff were great here especially Vanesa with room service. She was awesome. This HGI is right next to ABQ Uptown which is a FABULOUS shopping center with great food, stores (like Apple, Anthropologie, MAC, etc - really high end […] awesome stuff) and a Starbucks. The rest of the surrounding neighborhood seems kind of shady but ABQ Uptown makes up for it. I would DEFINITELY stay here again. Mehr

The hotel is fine, I would never stay there again though since it it located right next to I-40. I requested to be on the otherside as soon as I arrived but they said they were full. The road noise (3rd floor) was terrible, if this does not matter to you, it's a nice place. I had 2 terrible nights of sleep due to the constant traffic.

Hotel was overall very clean. All staff were friendly and very helpful when we had a question. Went to ALBQ for the Balloon Fiesta (this was my second time to go. Highly recommend it!). Pick up point for the Fiesta is at the mall and Hilton was so convenient. You leave the hotel parking lot, go half a block into the mall parking lot and drive about […] a quarter way around the mall and there is the pick up point! Super easy! Also many eating places nearby if you go down the right street. Other direction takes you nowhere! ( Made that mistake only once!) Great place to stay for whatever takes you to ALBQ. Mehr
