Hotel Le Crystal - Montreal

The hotel staff were very polite, professional and friendly. Absolutely fantastic experience with the front desk staff. They were especially kind to our children. We loved the pool, spa, and outside deck area as well. Overall, Hotel Le Crystal is a fantastic value and we will surely stay there again in the future.

Very nice hotel with friendly staff. Within walking distance to old montreal (10 minutes). The attached restaurant was very good but pricey. Would definetly stay again in the future.

With a family, we like to have a separate room for the parents. So, this hotel worked well for us. The staff were courteous. The hotel is located near many restaurants in the McGill University area. Excellent hotel. Excellent staff. My wife and I really appreciated all of the little details that came with our room. Plenty of towels, soap, two sinks, sweet rain shower nozzle, etc. They kept the tea and coffee stocked. If we asked the staff a question they could not answer they would research it and call us back. The day we left, our wake-up call […] was a real human (at 5:30am)! They called the cab for us. We liked that it was a block away from Rue Crescent (loads of bars/restaurants). It wasn't as close to Old Montreal as we would have liked, but it was a 15 minute walk/metro trip which was just fine. Overall, this hotel exceeded our expectations. Mehr

I have visited Montreal many times over the years and recently just found out about the Hotel Le Crystal My stay at Le Crystal was above my expectations. I enjoyed every area within the hotel. The facilities within the hotel such as the spa, workout center, pool and hot tub were all well maintained and easy to access. My room had more space than I anticipated […] and was comfortable. All the electronics were up to date and well placed throughout the room. The bathroom area where the shower and tub were located was clean and enjoyable to use. I I enjoyed the mini bar and other food items that were available in the room too. 100% for sure I would stay again at Le Crystal hotel in Montreal, I cant wait to do so. Mehr

This hotel is a great find. The room rate is reasonable for a five star hotel. We certainly would return to this hotel.

This hotel was very nice and in a great area close to all the main streets and sights. Hotel staff were very friendly and went out of there way for us on more than one occasion. Room was very comfortable and spacious. Easy to see why it is a five star hotel.

This is a very nice Hotel indeed, modern but not pretentious like those Sheraton, Shangri-la places that work sends me to. If, like me, you are attending en event at The Bell Centre then this is THE Hotel to stay at, near enough for an easy 5 minute walk, just far enough away so you cannot hear the Hockey crowds! Good service, friendly folk, loved […] the Espresso machines and mini kitchen. I stayed a week and it really felt like Home. Will go again if I return tom Montreal Oh and the restaurant was good and quite affordable in Montreal. Oh and the room service meal was excellent and delivered in 10 minutes Yes, I liked it here. This hotel is fairly new and what a find. My family and I stayed there over Thanksgiving 2009 and were delighted. It was a great hotel (very European feeling) and was 1 block away from trendy Rue St. Catherine and many restarants. The ammenities in the room were awesome. The deluxe suite was very nicely appointed and the amount of room was nice. The […] front desk staff was very knowledgeable and helpful. Language barrier no problem. Everyone spoke English. I cant think of anything negative to say about the Hotel Le Crystal. Oh, on the 12th floor is the hot tub--totally cool to sit and look out at the skyline (while you are actually outside on the roof). The indoor pool was nice as well. Mehr

Le Crystal is a fantastic hotel, they had very friendly employees and everything was very clean. The suite we (my boyfriend and I) stayed in was very nice, but lacked the room that I had imagined. There is a small part of me that regrets "splurging" for our hotel room (it was the deluxe suite), because there lacked the sort of "pzazz" that one would […] expect. The view was decent, and the Flat screen TV's were nice. The bedroom was crowded, and reminded my of my own tiny room in my apartment. The bathroom was very spacious, and I wish they would have used some of that space for the bed room. (The two were the same size!) I did find myself fascinated with the faucet handles, though that would not entertain you for the whole trip. The pool and the outdoor hot tub were amazing. very romantic, very relaxing. This hotel is located in a perfect location for all downtown activities, especially if you want to walk or take the metro. Don't miss the 12th floor outdoor jacuzzi, especially after sunset ... a wonderful view of this wonderful city!

We really enjoyed our stay. Loved the Espresso machine!! Food was a bit to pricey for us to dine there, but the continental breakfast was lovely. Best part was the 'rainfall shower' and soaking tub. It was quite pricey, but we were there for our 35th anniversary and we usually don't like to stay at places that are not really nice. Too much of our enjoyment […] is in the room itself. We thought we were getting a balcony, but that ended up not being possible. Not a whole lot of food places REALLY close by. It was COLD and windy while we were there, and we were walking and using the Metro. Mehr

From the lavender-infused scent wafting through the ventilation system in the lobby to the uber cool rootop jacuzzi to the mod, sleek suites, this hotel is a Montreal show-stopper. The staff were gracious and warm and seemed genuinely enthused to be ambassadors for their city. I didn't have the opportunity to test out the Spa, but it looked lovely and […] on at least one night was open into the late evening hours. Prices for their massage services were reasonable and what I would expect for a large city. Didn't try any of the hotels restaurants, as I grew fond of a French bakery in the neighborhood. We had one of the Urban suites, allegedly the smallest on the property and yet it was remarkably roomy. Two huge thumbs up for the rain shower, fancy schmancy bath products, and double vanity. The Nespresso maker was a nice touch. I also really liked the modern decor, even though my own personal tastes typically gravitate toward cozy, warm styles. Simply put, the decor is cool. Period. The central location of Hotel Le Crystal makes it easy to jet around town, even though there isn't much directly across the street from the hotel--unless you're catching a hockey game at Bell Centre. The location in Centreville is 1.5 blocks from the main Orange line Metro that you will likely to get around town. It's a little further from the Green Line Peel Metro stop, but still convenient for those who don't have physical limitations that would preclude them from walking a few blocks. The Central Train Station (Gare Central) is about 5 blocks away. The shops of St. Catherine (typical chain stores like H&M, Neon, Roots, etc) and the main nightlife district on Crescent were also within walking distance. A new bus line near the Central Train Station (Gare Central) now services Vieux Montreal (the old town). I think the location is about as perfect as one can get, although when you step out of the hotel, you have to walk at least one block or hail a cab on busy Rene Levesque Blvd in order to Mehr

Everything we expected and more, an excellent Hotel. Beds were wonderful,state of the art bathrooms. Hotel staff were so helpful and kind. Would go back again.

I'll start with the negatives. At first glance, I was a little disappointed with the hotel room because I felt the 2 room suite would be a little bit bigger than it was. Since we had teenage children with us, we wanted a little more space. The room also had a heavy cigarette smell from the previous guests, even though we requested non smoking. (However, […] to be fair, the hotel clerk said the entire hotel is non smoking but that people still smoke.) Continental breakfast was complimentary; so-so food but great coffee! Aside from that, the hotel staff was very friendly and helpful, the bathroom was wonderful, the shower even better! Had a great sandwich in the little cafe off the lobby. And great location. Mehr

This was a lovely hotel. The room was large and cozy and it had a wonderful sitting area. I loved the expresso machine too. The service was very friendly and professional and we were given some great dinner reccomendations. I would stay here again and would reccomend it to anyone!!

The Deluxe suite was very comfortable and I found all of the staff very friendly. The free parking offered by Hotels.com was a great benefit. It is valet parking and very convenient to be able to pull up and give you key to the bellman. I tipped $2 each time I needed the car brought up, so it was still a good deal. The contenential breakfast was so-so, […] I think you are better off going to Cafe Imagination right next store. My one complaint would be that they closed the pool and spa at 9 pm and it would have been nice to have it open later. Also the deck around the spa was weathered, with no chairs or plants, nothing like the picture. I went in early June, so they may dress it up more for high season. If you make to Montreal don't miss the Botanical Garden! Mehr

Un hôtel "Urban" de grande élégance, très bien situé. Le personnel est très accueillant et professionnel. Le restaurant, le bar et le café sont de très bon niveau avec un excellent service. La piscine et le jacuzzi fut très bien entretenus et le clientèle très varié...famille et hommes d'affaires. C'est autant un bon choix pour un voyage avec des enfants […] ou pour le business. Mehr

Ever since I first discover Crystal It has been my first choice of hotel when I go to Montreal. Think I've seen most of the different types of rooms by now. And I must say this is a very nice hotel with very high standards! It's also close to some of my favorite restaurants, La Queue de Cheval and Vargas. Only thing missing is a big breakfast buffet. […] I actually prefer having my breakfast outside the hotel just because of this, sometimes at the Hotel next door which should be a bit embarrassing for Crystal. hotel très proche de la rue Ste Catherine au décor contemporain et aux prestattions haut de gamme (piscine, sauna, et jaccuzzi en terrasse 12 ème étage !). Suite Luxe très confortable. Le restaurant " La Coupole" propose également une cuisine raffinée.

Très luxueux, grandes chambres avec salon. Personnel courtois et attentionné.

オールドモントリオール付近にある、近代的なオシャレホテル。受付を入ると昼間にもかかわらず、そこからナイトクラブのようなフロント。 若者の外国人の方は喜ぶ人も多いかも。部屋も広く、洗練された感じ。バスルームはとてもスタイリッシュではあるが、とにかく使いにくいのが印象。 インターネット、ドリンクなどは有料なので要注意。

Het hotel is zeer geschikt voor ouders met kinderen. Badkamer super, gescheiden leef en slaapruimte, kingsize bed en bankbed. 2x big TV. Indoor Pool 12de etage incl whirlpool buiten met uitzicht over stad. Vallet parking.

Le Top du Top. Ma femme et moi avons déjà été dans pas mal d'hôtels, mais celui-ci était certainement le meilleur. L'espace piscine / spa / sauna du 12è étage, avec jacuzzi sur la terrasse était super. Nous sommes restés dans cet hôtel pendant près de 2 semaines. Pendant la première semaine, j'étais en réunion pour le boulot, puis nous sommes restés […] pour la détente. Pendant la deuxième semaine, il y a eu une journée de mauvais temps, et nous avons profité de la piscine du 12è à légumer toute la journée. Tout est neuf, super clean, super bien géré. Le personnel se met en 4 pour vous assurer que tout se passe bien. Petits déjeuners top. Seul le restau laisse un peu à désirer. Quelques plats sont très bons, mais d'autres clairement en dessous du niveau visé (je pense notamment à des frites immangeables servies avec une pièce de boeuf excellente par ailleurs, ou à une simple tomate / mozza servie en entrée). A part le restau (un peu inégal), nous conseillons à 100%. C'est un des meilleurs rapports qualité/prix dans lequel nous avons séjourné. Mehr
