Paddington Court Rooms - London

Great and safe hotel location, 5 minutes away from Paddington Train Station to catch the Heathrow Express directly to Heathrow Airport. Lancaster Gate Tube station is only 5 minutes walk away, good for tourists looking to explore London city shopping (Lancaster Gate tube station is on the Central Line- 2 stops away from Bond Street and Oxford Circus […] stations). Surrounding neighbourhood is safe, even at night. Short 10 minutes walk to Bayswater station for food and shopping. Rooms were a little small but enough given that I'm out most of the time. Mehr

Although service and conditions of the rooms are indeed good, a recommendation of the Hotel cannot be given on the reason that rooms are extremely small and some rooms in the third floor do not have an excess by elivator. We stayed two nights in this hotel. The hotel is close to Peddington station (about four to five blocks away). Room was recently renovated but very small. The bathroom was minimally functional. But, I think this is very usual for London. What was not usual is that the tea kettle in the room was dirty inside, we called (twice) and ask a new one, our […] request was completely ignored. The new kettle was never replaced during our stay. Next time, I would try one of the other hotels in the same area. Mehr

I wouldn't stay here unless I got put in the main bldg (where reception is) - as they own many on the block and most aren't up to snuff.

I completely forgot how bad London hotels were and was really looking forward to this leg of my business trip after being in other parts of Europe. I had to be moved 3 times because either I had no water pressure in the shower and/or no AC/heat in the room. Another morning the fire alarms went off at 6am for a minute for a false alarm. While waiting […] to be moved one morning I sat in the lobby and heard at least 5 other people come in to the front desk and complain about similar problems- water temp, water pressure, broken AC, broken heater, lights not working, and broken lift (not all the buildings for this hotel have elevators). The staff didn't seem to care about the complaints, they just noted them, but didn't call maintenance or move the customers unless like me, they really made demands about it. No wifi- although the wired connection worked. I wouldn't recommend this hotel unless I were REALLY in a bind and HAD to stay near Paddington station again. Mehr

overpriced, but normal for London. Front desk was helpful. good location near Paddington station making it convenient for traveling in and out of Heathrow.

Upon arrival at address, could not find Paddington Court Rooms. It turns out that it is run by Best Western. This was not mentioned at time of booking. The room was clean and comfortable except the bed was a little short as my feet stuck out the bottom and I'm only 5'10". My "double" room was a little compact and glad I wasn't travelling with a partner […] and extra baggage! The only other negative was the lack of hot water for showers. However the room was clean, and well appointed and staff were friendly. Mehr

Good place to stay in London, rooms were small, but as expected. Hotel is actually on both sides of the street.

The room was small and clean perfect for one person maybe two if you dont plan on spending alot of time in your room. Wich you shouldn't anyway. Had a weird but not over powering smell of damp. The staff was as helpful as could be expected but very nice. Great neighbor hood, a few resturants just around the corner. Very close to Hyde park and Landcaster […] Gate tube station which was very convenant. Mehr

Séjour idéal dans cet hotel. Chambre propre, lavée tout les jours (sauf si vous demandez à ce qu'il ne soit pas fait). Chambre agréable, bien entrenue. Beau salon. Accueil très agréable ! Prix raisonnables. Séjour très plaisant. Je recommande cet hôtel. Un seul bémol: l'alarme incendie à sonné 3 fois lors d'un nuit, mais espérons que ce ne soit pas […] un problème récurrent. Ah et on entend l'eau couler dans la tuyauterie... Mehr

Good location, quite nice rooms, good service. The only really big disappointment here was the internet connection which, by swedish standards at least, was truly awful with frequent disconnections, timeouts and generally low speed. Sadly, the supposedly fast internet connection was one of my main reasons for choosing this hotel.
