Ruhig gelegen, Innenstadt trotzdem fußläufig erreichbar. Direkt an der Jamson Distillery gelegen. Supernettes Personal, hilfsbereit. Leider ließen sich in einem Zimmer die Fenster nicht öffnen. Als wir uns beschwerten, bekamen wir ein neues Zimmer. Zimmerausstattung ist einfach aber sehr ordentlich und sauber. Die Gemeinschaftsräume im EG sind sehr ansprechend, großzügig, loftmäßig, modern, auf mehreren Ebenen. Super Atmosphäre. Gut für jung und alt.

Dieses Hotel ist sehr modern und gut ausgestattet. Die Zimmer sind sauber und haben die übliche Ausstattung. Die Lage ist auch ziemlich gut - man kann eigentlich zu allen Sehenswürdigkeiten laufen (auch wenn man bis zur Südseite der Innenstadt vielleicht 20 min braucht). Die einzigen zwei Nachteile waren, dass es nachts auf dem Flur recht laut war und die Tür nicht richtig schallisoliert ist, und dass das WiFi nur in der Lobby, aber nicht im Zimmer funktioniert.

Wir waren für fünf Nächte im einem Dreierzimmer untergebracht. Allerdings im Basement, was aber durch die Grösse des Zimmers wettgemacht wurde. Badezimmer und Hotelzimmer waren sehr sauber. Die Lage ist hervorragend, viele Sehenswürdigkeiten zu Fuss erreichbar. Das Frühstück war lecker und die Angestellten freundlich.

Freundliches Personal, gute Flughafenanbindung, bequeme Betten und wenn man keine Lust auf ein großes Früchstück hat, kann man 2 Häuser weiter in einem kleinen Cafe-Shop leckere Scones oder auch eine Portion Porridge bekommen. Ich würde das Hotel jederzeit wieder buchen!

Ballsbridge ist eine ruhige und exklusive Wohngegend mit viel Grün, etwa 20 - 30 Minuten zu Fuß von der Innenstadt entfernt und durch regelmäßig verkehrende Busse angebunden. Der Kanal fließt mitten durch das Viertel. Auch wenn große Teile dieser Wasserstraße nicht besonders sehenswert sind, gibt es doch nahe der Richmond Street-Brücke einen angenehmen Abschnitt mit Pubs am Ufer. Mit dem Geburtshaus von George Bernard Shaw befindet sich außerdem eine beliebte Sehenswürdigkeit ganz in der Nähe.

Ich hatte das Hotel ohne Frühstück gebucht. Der Preis war ok. Im Nachbargebäude kann man für 4,00 Euro ein einfaches Frühstück einnehmen oder sich im Shop etwas kaufen. Durch die Nähe zum Bus und einer Bahnlinie ist man in ca. 10-15 Minuten im Centrum. Ich hatte ein Zimmer nach hinten raus. Dort ist auch die große Lüftungsanlage des Hotel. "Berkley court dublin"
Stayed for 2 nights. Bedroom cold first night, reported heating not working alas not repaired. Our problem was ignored. 4star hotel that does not supply facial tissues or mini bar !!!..Breakfast extra,parking extra. Hotel clean but run down.

"Hell Weekend in Dublin but he Hotel was great"
The D4 Berkley hotel on Lansdowne road in Dublin was one of the nicest hotels I have had the privilege to stay in. The front desk staff were all very well dressed and very pleasent to speck with...the lobby was exactly as the pictures showed and the rooms were big and comfortable. There were a couple of small things with the bathroom, lighting was sparce […] and there was no vent for removing "steam" so the mirror was fogged over but overall a very nice hotel. There was a train station nearby that got you into town and St. Steven's Green was an easy 15 min. walk away. Very Good Mehr

Overall I give this hotel (D4 Berkely) 4 out of 5. The hotel is very reasonably priced and the location is excellent. The only let down is the customer service. One or two of the receptionists seemed nice but the staff generally were unhelpful and some seemed unhappy to be there. Example - asked for coffee at 8pm, was sent to the bar who said they don't […] serve it. Brought this up with a staff member who said she would come back to me and seemed confused the bar wouldnt serve coffee. I waited 10 minutes and she didn't come back. It wasnt busy at that time either. Another one of the receptionists never smiled which is ok but she had a face like an ice queen. Really needs to thaw out in my opinion. But other than that the Hotel is great value. To be fair you can't expect 5 start customer services for those kind of prices in that part of Dublin. Mehr

"Great value"
probably the best value in Dublin for the location. A stroll to baggot st and has good facilities. Highly recommend it.

"Berkley D4 - Quality in every respect"
The former Berkley Court has lost little in a name change. The service was excellent. Warm friendly staff with a level of professionalism one would expect from a top hotel. Highly recommended

Recently stayed here for 3 nights.Very convienient just next to Aviva Stadium & lovely walk into city centre. Hotel a little dated. Fridge & iron had been removed from the bedroom & the shower curtain could have been longer to avoid water on the floor. However will be happy to stay here again if I need somewhere convienent to the city centre & the Avivia […] or to the RDS. Mehr

"Beautiful Hotel and Location"
The hotel is located about a 15 minute walk from "downtown" Dublin but there about great restaurants a couple blocks away as well. The building was beautiful with a lounge that serves tea and coffee. The staff was friendly and didn't mind all the questions we had. We will definitely come back to D4 on our next trip to Dublin.

"D4 Berkeley Hotel - Dublin"
Comfortable stay, nice quiet location but yet relatively cetral. The area the hotel is located is nice and feels safe to walk in the locality. The bathrooms look a little bit dated and in need of renovation, lots of silicone around the tiling and some of the panelling looked water damaged, however it was serviceable and clean. stayed at this hotel for the leinster / leicester cup game. hotel is right near the stadium and dart station. great location, very comfortable and nice room. very happy and would stay again.

Hotel used to be one of the best in Dublin but learnt that it was bought for development during the boom but developer subsequently went bust. Result is that the hotel is tired and not the luxury hotel it used to be. However, fair to say the room rates reflect this and if going for a rugby weekend as we were, it's next to the Landsdowne Rd. ground and […] was good value. Enjoyed my stay, hotel was clean and tidy but unfortunately the bar staff working in the hotel didn't know what they were doing. Have been staying in D4 hotels since the rugby intercontinental in 1978 and this was the worst set of barr staff that I ever came across. One of them did not know what a Powers was. "4 Star price- 2 Star Hotel"
Room was overpriced for what you recieved. Lobby was very nice and check-in was quick and staff was friendly. However room was horrible. TV did not work (I was able to fix it) Bed was hard as a rock. There was low water flow in shower. The room never cooled down and became to much to handle on third night. Front desk sent somebody up and they realized […] that the heat was still on but could not figure out how to turn it off. They took 5 hours to figure this out and around 1130pm asked if we wanted to switch rooms. Would not recomend this hotel at all. Mehr

Hotel very clean. Walking distance to center of town. Aviva stadium visible. Train station around the block. Restaurants near hotel. Taxis available on hotel street. Hotel staff slightly lacking social welcome for guests--need to learn to smile.

Very impressive lookin as you walk in. Good staff behind the desk. I uprgarded to the junior suite for what seemed a fair price which was apparently reduced because they needed to get rid of rooms! Room was very spatious and bed comfortable. But on closer inspection a little bit rough around the edges. Lights not working places that had not been cleaned […] etc. Also issues with plumbing on the bath shower head. My girlfriend and I got a very hood pizza takeaway and bottle of wine from near by as room service was very pricey. Generally good and would stay again. Mehr
"Business stay"
This was an excellent hotel in a very convenient location. The hotel is still very much 5 star in comfort and ambience. As long as you allow for certain features missing due to the price, for example breakfast, free wifi and mini fridge, it is the perfect base to do business.

The Hotel D4 Berkeley is excellent value for money, basic and slightly 'worn' but clean and in an extremely nice part of Dublin and close to the city centre and right beside the DART station at Lansdowne Road making every where very accessibile.

This hotel is wonderful to relax and have a meal and a few drinks in, as all the staff are extremely plesant and helpfull . Very close by you have all the bars , restaurants and shops of the bustling city of Dublin

Theroom was not really ready for a guest 1. No tissues in bathroom 2. No facecloths 3. No menus in room , or any details on restuarant, room service ec 4. Not even a card on door to say 'please do not disturb! (and I was disturbed by room sevice at 8:00 one morning!) In the evening there is a bar menu until 6, then it is a la carte, and this menu […] was very expensive, so not really practical, seen as the rooms and hotel seemed to be selling themselves as a cheap hotel. This hotel was not 4 star, more like 2 star. The onebig plus is has, is its location , its ios close to thenew 'Aviva stadium, and ballsbridge, and some nice restuarants and bars. Its just a pity it did not get some of the basics right Oh, and broadband in the hotel is not free (as you expect with most hotels these days), plus parking is also a charge. So ensure you had these into your rate for comparison Mehr

The rooms are reasonably clean, but lack the facilities I expect from a good 3 star hotel. Certainly not 4 star quality.

The hotel is a small distance from the City Centre, but on a good bus route. The hotel staff were friendly and the bar is decorated very nicely. "Value for money in an otherwise expensive city"
Excellent value for money, yes the food is expensive, but when you take a trip into the centre of Dublin you will find that neither the food nor drink is any cheaper. The room was comfortable and the staff were very pleasant and helpful. The air coach literally stops and picks up around the corner, infront of the D4 Towers, I'm not sure where the previous […] reviewer got off the coach to find it so far away? Would I return? Yes definately. Ideally located for Lansdowne Rd stadium, plenty of buses into town, or if the weather is good, a 20 minute walk to Grafton Street etc. Mehr
