This was a great experience - Clean, great front desk service - The best sleep confort ever...! The only thing I have to comment on is that I left a shirt on the back door of the bathroom and called a few hours after leaving the hotel and they could not find it (I know I left it there..) - When i called the clerk she said she would fill a lost claim […] but I have not heard from them yet. Other tham taht this is a great hotel for such a depressed location. I went there to spend a weekend with my kids and because there was a pool - BTW pool was very clean. Would go again. Mehr

We were pleasantly surprised by all the amenities this hotel offered. We were greeted with bottled water, fruit, cookies, cheese, and crackers, we selected DVDs and got free popcorn to watch the movies from our whirlpool tub, the bed was really comfortable, and the breakfast had a wide selection including make your own belgian waffles! We have earmarked […] this as our go-to hotel when we go to upstate NY. Mehr

Nice hotel,

We are a family of five and were very surprised by how clean and friendly this Hampton was. Nice stop along our road trip. The free water, ice cream and dvd's were a nice treat for all.

The guy I believe his name was James and the women who works with the breakfast were so nice. I would go back just because they were so helpful and pleasant.

Nice hotel but hard to find. The address could not be found by GPS and had to cruise the road several times to locate. Turns out the hotel is several hundred yards off the road and the entrance is a small alley way though the Denny's parking lot. A sign is at the road but is very small, low to the ground, and easy to miss. Our particular room was directly […] above the main entrance door. You could hear the door open/close everytime. It sounded as if someone was dragging a table or chair across the floor. However, the room was very clean, evening/breakfast hospitality are well serviced, and the staff very pleasant. Mehr

This was the fifth and last hotel in as many nights on the road for our family of four, and absolutely the best of the bunch of comparably priced hotels (Fairfield Inns, Country Inns, etc)! Lovely rooms, common areas and grounds, great complimentary breakfast, friendly and helpful staff. I don't know that we'll ever be in Utica again, but if we are, […] we would not consider staying anywhere else. Mehr

Road weary and ready for a weeks vacation in UpState NY we checked into the Utica Hampton Inn. We were greated with complementary ice cream and water, exceptionally clean room, and hot snacks in the lobby at 5:00 PM daily!!! We also enjoyed swimming in the hotel pool and working out in the exercise room. A nice feature that my teenagers enjoyed was […] the "free" DVD rental from the hotel front desk and complementary popcorn to go with it!! Evenings also provided a sweet snack in the breakfast area of the hotel lobby. It consisted of small finger cakes and cookies. Breakfasts were also terriffic. We enjoyed waffles, omlets and assorted breakfast meat, hot oatmeal, toast, fresh fruit, juices, coffee, tea, and milk. They also had a waffle station. The staff was very friendly and made us feel right at home. We would definitely recommend this hotel and will book our next stay at the Utica Hampton Inn! Mehr

Stayed here overnight. Very clean, great condition, quiet. Very expensive for an evening sleep but it was really nice place.

I like this hotel very much, however, I was a bit disappointed in my recent stay due to the linen and pillows not smelling clean. The pillows specifically smelled as they needed to be changed. My disappointment will not deter me form staying there again, although I will be much more conscienous of the linen and will complain next time.

The room was very clean, the staff was helpful & nice. I would recommend this hotel to everyone! It is very close to a variety of restaurants. I will be back next year. Thanks.

The hotel staff was friendly. The hotel and the room were both clean and comfortable.The only problem we had was that you could hear hallway noise--doors opening/shutting and children laughing-- even close to midnight. It is a good stopping point enroute to Boston. We will stay again!

Nous étions dans cet hotel en famille, juste de passage pour une nuit.Très propre, pas d'odeur "vieillot"comme c'est parfois le cas dans des hotels avec peu de ventilation et vieille moquette. Patisseries d'accueil dans le hall principal; très bon petit dej. Nous étions 5 (un enfant de 10 ans); 4 places. L'enfant a "campé" pour son plus grand plaisir […] un peu sur la moquette et un peu sur le fauteuil! Mehr
