From the moment I stepped out of the cab, I knew this Hotel deserves indeed the 5 Star Rating. Professional and courteous staff in all the aspects and services of the Hotel. Modern and extremely clean rooms and facilities throughout. Well sitiuated as the beach is across the street, and on the Walk with many other restaurants and shops to choose from, […] which made it very convenient for me after returning from all day business meetings. Great location at the end of the Walk. across from the beach. Valet parking free, Internet reasonably fast.

This was a last minute holiday, and booked approximately 1 week before departing. By this time, there was not much available. However, this was extremely reasonable priced and on Jumeirah Beach (v. short walk, with direct access from the hotel.) Prior to departing, phoning the hotel we discovered that we had already been upgraded to Club Rotana, and […] therefore transfers to/from the airport were already included. Which was handy. We were travelling with our 2 boys aged 3 and 5. Unfortunately, on arriving (around midnight), we discovered that there was only one bed! Although we had specifically stated that this was a family of 4. But the hotel stated that they had not charged for the children and therefore an extra bed would cost more. The boys ended up sleeping in our bed anyway, which was probably a king size, without too much of a problem. The Hotel insisted that Hotels.com had not informed them about the need for another bed. Offering a free baby cot! Apart from this, we had a lovely relaxing break, as it was near the beach. They had 2 pools, one larger and one suitable for toddlers. The smaller pool did not get much sun, so it could be quite cool around that pool. Overall it was good value for money, compared to the prices of other Jumeirah beach hotels. Club Rotana upgrade was not of much use to us, as they did not allow children after 6pm, when canapes etc would be available til 8 ish. Otherwise it was mainly for a separate breakfast area, from the main restaurant, or afternoon tea. (I would not pay for this upgrade). It is a nice 5 star hotel, but does not really stand out. The service was good and the staff friendly. We would probably try somewhere else on Jumeirah beach next time, (if we booked early enough, and spent that little extra.) Mehr

Overall the hotel is very nice with very good service. The location is great and the see views are amazing. The only thing that I did not like was the size of the bed and the kinds of pelows.

Very good value BUT because of the solid wall of tower blocks behind the hotel, the pool does not get the sun at all until late p.m. Choose a room with a sea view as the rest look directly out onto a solid wall of towers. Very convenient for the Marina area and the Palm. A public beach is across the road and heaps of shops/coffee shops etc around the […] corner. Mehr

Very pleasant hotel in a good area - a repeat of other reviews is you have to wait a while for the lift !

Overall I was happy with the hotel and I do recommend it to anyone who might want to stay in Dubai. There are a few things that made it inconvenient: 1. We did not have free access to internet from the room, and it was expensive to get it. You had to go downstairs and use internet in their business center. For someone who intends to work it is uncomfortable. 2. […] The location is quite far from most of the major malls, so if you are coming for shopping the location might not work for you. 3. The access from the hotel to the beach area is not very convenient neither. 4. The prices of the restaurants in the hotel are very high, but there are a lot of restaurants within walking distance that are more affordable. 5. The alcohol is very expensive at the hotel and you cannot buy it at the market so bring your own from duty free. The great things about the hotel: 1. The people who work there are wonderful and very helpful. 2. Loved the location being so close to an area where you can walk to other restaurants and shops. 3. The hotel was very clean and all the rooms have a balcony, great for smokers. 4. All the rooms have a sitting area, much better than sitting on the bed all the time. 5. All the rooms have a view of the water and therefore it is pleasant to wake up to it. Mehr

Some people were smoking on a non smoking floor . Would help to have a dressing Table. Teh round table wasn't t hat convenient.

great hotel for the price but there are so many others in the area.. we checked out a few others that were even nicer but a little more expensive. i would stay here again if in the area.

Stayed at the Amwaj Rotana for the first time in Dubai. I've previously stayed at a few other hotels nearby in Media City and up in Bur Dubai. The Amwaj has certainly been the nicest hotel and location I've experienced so far. I have a lovely beach view where I could see the Palm and Atlantic though it was a bit too hot to sit out and enjoy. Only […] minor drawback was that they were building another hotel next door which didn't look so nice out the window. I didn't get disturbed by any noise as they were doing odd jobs like tiling the swimming pool etc. so wasn't that bad, but thought it worth a note. Mehr

the stuffs there do not know how to do their job

We had a spacious room overlooking Jumeira Beach which the staff kept clean and tidy albeit at times very late in the day ( 5 p.m. ).The staff throughout the hotel were friendly and helpful but on occasions had to be reminded to carry out a particular request for action. My wife and I were concerned that there was no normal access by stairs from the […] ground floor to the first floor and the first floor to the second floor.We felt that stairs between these floors would not only provide easy access in the event of an emergency but also reduce the number of people using the lifts. Finally it would be helpful if the hotel provided easier access to the balcony outside the restaurant as residents had difficulty opening a door whilst carrying food from the buffet counter Mehr

Very impressed with this hotel. My room was huge and had a fantastic view of the Beach and hotels on the Palm. The walls were solid too as I didn't hear any noise from the adjoining bedrooms. Bed was comfortable and the bathroom was great. they thought of everything in regards to toiletries and there were plenty of towels. Added bonus was the gym which […] was pretty much empty every time I went and the machines were all new. I didn't swim in the pool which was always busy and quite small for a hotel of this size. The hotel is right on Jumeirah Beach though so just a short walk to lots of restaurants. Also, great location for the Marina which was a 10 minute walk away. Mehr

the amwaj rotana at the walk in Dubai marina is well worth the money, the staff are great, the hotel is new therefore its very clean, great location. R. Glasgow

Excellent service. staff very friendly and professional. Location was perfect, taxis available all day right outside hotel. Metro 5min away. Restuarants excellent food and service. No private beach as yet but access to public beach is good. I would def stay here again

Hotellet ligger rigtig godt på JBR - Jumeirah Beach Road også kaldet The Walk. Lige uden for hotellet er masser af restauranter og caféer. Dejligt hotel med stor værelse med udsigt til havet og til Palmeøen Jumeirah i klart vejr. Hvis man er til løb kan man sagtens få løbet sine 5-10 km i området. Bedst tidligt om morgenen. Især Dubai Marina er et skønt […] sted at løbe. Der kommer desværre ingen sol på altanen pga. de omkringliggende høje huse. Hotellet har desværre valgt at have høj musik ved poolområdet til sen aften. Høj musik, der forplanter sig opad pga. de omkringliggende høje huse. Efter klager valgte man dog at skrue ned for musikken - men det ødelægger lidt af ferieglæden, når man ikke kan få sin nattesøvn. Mehr

Du kan få bedre hoteller i Dubai, men overordnet er dette et pænt og rent hotel der yder "value for money". Eneste negativt er elevatorerne (kun 3), hvor de burde have haft 4-5 stykker til et hotel af denne størrelse (kun et problem i rush hours). Meget tæt beliggende på stranden, dog offentlig uden diverse strandstole, parasoller etc. Vil gerne anbefale […] hotellet Mehr

Hotellet ligger nära stranden, nära till promenad med butiker och restauranger. Trevlig personal. Kan varmt rekommenderas,

Härligt att bo precis på stranden. Tyvärr har hotellet inga solstolar på stranden och det går inte att hyra. Åker man vintertid ligger poolområdet i skugga större delen av dygnet. Massar om caféer och enklare restauranger på strandpromenaden. I övrigt ligger hotellet en bit i från det mesta, dock kostar taxi ingenting så vi tyckte inte att det spelade […] någon roll. Mehr

Отель соответствовал всем моим требованиям и я осталась довольна.

Vi hade bokat två rum, ett för två vuxna och ett för två vuxna och ett barn. Fick två rum med varsin dubbelsäng. De sa att barnen brukar ligga i dubbesängen. Soffan var ej bäddbar! Efter visst strul fick vi in en extrasäng. Maten var gudomlig på restaurangerna, men servicen var usel. Hotellets poolpersonal hade ingen aning om vad service var. Poolen […] låg i skugga utom mellan ca 12-15. Ta med ngt att ligga på till stranden. Fanns inga solstolar. Mehr

Este Hotel está bem localizado de frente para o mar e ao lado de um rua com muitos restaurantes,cafés e um feirinha muito bacana só não gostei da recepção na hora do check in e check out por eu não falar bem o inglês tive muita dificuldade para me comunicar e os recepcionistas sem paciência alguma muito arrogantes.

Amazing service! We came in at 6 in the morning, but where able to check-in early. Also, we upgraded to the suites, with breakfast on the 25th floor. Amazing experience. All staff, from frontdesk to fitness and cleaning were extremly friendly. Also, the hotel restaurants was a great experience. Casual atmosphere - and it is located directly to Jumeirah […] Beach. Skall man ha sol och bad och dessutom kunna gå lite och hitta resuaranger som vi Skandinaver är vana med är detta absolut bästa läget. The Walk längs beachen är trevligt och hotelet är fantastiskt.

Herlig plass å være. God service og rolig. Service i alle ledd på hotellet. Kort vei til strand. Rent og pent på hotellets område. Fantastisk SPA opplevelse. Anbefaler hotellet for voksne. Billig å ta taxi til der en måtte ønske.

Vi ankom dette storslåtte hotellet kl. ett om natten og ble vennlig mottatt og fulgt opp til et flott rom i 22.etg. Vi hadde oppgradert til Rotana Club rom, og fikk derfor adgang til hyggelig frokost salong i 25.etg.med svært vennlig betjening. En behagelig måte å starte dagen på. I resepsjonen der kunne man melde seg på turer for dagen, bruke Internet […] og lese dagens aviser fritt.Man kunne enten sitte inne i salongen eller ute på terrassen med flott utsikt til gulfen og Palmen (den kunstige øya). Hotellet hadde et koselig "sundeck" med servering av softsdrinks,coctails, øl, drinker og mat frem til 17.00. Dette kunne nytes enten i solsengene rundt et stort fint oppvarmet basseng, eller rundt baren eller i skjønne rottingmøbler mellom palmene. Der var gassbrennere for kjølige kvelder som på denne tiden. I desember og januar kan kveldene kreve en jakke rundt skuldrene. I 2.etg. var det to restauranter med servering av middagsretter til en fornuftig pris. Den ene med bar.Betjeningen var imøtekommende. Tre heiser var travle og effektive. Det så ut for oss til at alle rom hadde utsikt til sjøen fra balkonngene. I de tre første høye etagene var det serviceområder, med Spa, butikker servicedesc for bilutleie og travel mm. Man kunne få vasket klær til enhver tid, de strøk klær ved behov. alt kunne ordnes fra hotellets side. En annen fordel må sies om hotellet. Det lå godt plassert ved Jumeirah stranden, det var egen nedgang med toalett til stranden fra Pool-området. Man kunne vandre strandpromenaden i flere kilometre, der var kafeer og restauranter i hundrevis, men her kunne man ikke nyte alkohol. bygningsmassen rundt hotellet var i New York stil, høye, men det vender man seg til. Dubai er en rålekker by, med mange spennende ting å se og kjøpe ! Vi kan på det varmeste anbefale Hotel Amwaj Rotana til andre, ferien vår der var helt topp på alle måter. GOD TUR !! Mehr

Albergo nuovo, alla fine del lungomare di Jumeirah. Casermone di 28 piani (come più o meno tutti gli alberghi della zona) abbastanza ben manutenzionato. Camere spaziose, abbastanza vicino alla metropolitana (un chilometro?) senza colazione al mattino e senza spiaggia privata. La piscina è decisamente piccola ed intorno all'hotel fervono i lavori di […] altri mille cantieri più o meno attivi (dicono ci sia la crisi anche a Dubai). Attenzione alle temperature. Dubai è terribile come tutti i paesi del golfo. Mehr
