I found the hotel to be more than I expected, especially with the cost of the room. Very reasonable

The first room had not been serviced or clean . The second room had bed big and that is disgusting

The only issue I had was that I reserved a Queen size bed which cost me an upgrade on the price. When I arrived I was given a room with a quenen size bed and there was no resolution made even after making a complaint. Thay shows terrible customer service.

you get what you pay for plus a little more. was nice and clean and with all the complaints about the interstate it wasnt as loud as everyone says. great service.

Hotel was clean but in need of a little tlc. Beds comfortable. Staff friendly and helpful .Air con worked but very noisy. Safe in room didnt work but was not charged the usual fee for it. No ice maker in hotel working. We gave breakfast a miss- ihop down the road is a better bet!- would rather have a cheaper room than a free breakfast which looked awful. I asked for non-smoking room, I didn't get it... Free internet doesn't exist there. the neighborhood is really bad, police's car all night in front of the hotel... drug dealers around, and front desk nothing friendly...

The location of the hotel was in a residental neighborhood on a dead end street but I must say the office staff and the staff that took care of the rooms were star quality. They made the stay pleasant and gave directions for us to get something to eat. They were very accomodating. If I had to go back again what would influence me to do so would be the […] staff. The exterior of the hotel was well maintained; however, the parking is a challenge in that relatively none exist in front of the hotel. The beds; queen, are quite small and the mattress(es) are a bit small if you are over 6 ft. tall.

I was in town on business, and honestly, I wouldn't have felt comfortable taking my wife and kids to this hotel, so I'm glad they weren't there. The room was decent, but had that famous "never-been-smoked-in" smell. There were also a ton of people smoking on the balcony throughout the day. (Maybe just a Florida thing.) I got a smoking room which was very stinky and dirty with everything I touch yellow with smoke. Instead of charging me 25 dollars a day for my dog they should be charging smokers so the rooms can be clean properly. It was disgusting my white dog came out of the room with yellow marks all over her coat. Carol

It was a wonderful stay. Clean, and lots of room. Would recommend to friends and family.

My family and I really enjoyed our stay at the hotel Extended Stay Amerca in Ft. Lauderdale and the service was great the location was good as well and we weren't far from the location we were visiting, so from my family as wel as myself we say Thank you.

The rooms were clean but the bed was entirely too small. The stove did not have an oven and the table only accomodates one person. The air conditioner in the room was entirely too noisy.

The bed was hard as a rock. I had to have my key programmed every time I left the room. Robert at the desk was rude and abrasive. It was noisy, hard to find and in a bed neighborhood. The toilet was not bolted to the floor and moved every time you sat down on it. It looked like an apartment complex instead of a hotel. Horrible neighborhood and very noisy due to the highway I wanted to get my money back and they didn't give to me so I left and I had to rent another hotel because I did not like the ambience nor the room inside it looked more like a motel

The room was decent in price, but the location of the room I stayed in was facing 1-95. You could hear every single vehicle that passed through 1-95 in the Florida on New Years Eve weekend.

It was late and I was tired and I just wanted to check in and sleep, well I thought I asked for a non-smoking room, which I did but as soon as I opened the door to my room, it smelled like someone had just smoked and left the room.

Something bit me and my fiance every night. We were turned into happy meals and we weren't happy. When I told the young lady in the office about it she acted as if she couldn't understand. When I asked to speak wth the manager, the manager wouldn't speak with me, she was too busy to address my concerns. The only reason I gave a three for Quality of […] hotel service is because one young ladies in the office was nice and assisting but I never saw her again. I WILL NEVER STAY AT THIS HOTEL AGAIN AND FORGET ABOUT RECOMMENDATIONS. Mehr

Nice hotel, very friendly staff. Convenient to downtown Ft. Lauderdale (5 miles to Broward/Andrews)

Smelled like cigarettes,even though it was a "smoke free" room. Seemed like hookers were working the back parking lot one evening. There seemed to be homeless people hanging around too....Not such a nice place!

I've stayed at this hotel several times. It is convenient for my business contacts in downtown Ft. Lauderdale, and close to the airport. The staff is friendly and remembers my name each time I arrive. The WiFi service works very well with 'excellent' signal strength in every room I've stayed. There's plenty fo parking, but someitmes I've not been able […] to park adjacent to my ground floor room. There is no pool, but I'm there for business so that's not a problem. I'd recommend this hotel to any busienss traveler. Mehr

First of all the location is horrible, right next to highway and there is no sound proof on the rooms, so it feels like you are sleeping on the highway, the subdivision is very questionable(also a lot of the quests, some of the furniture in the room was broken, and some guy make the afford to walk all the way around the hotel just so he can see which […] room were sleeping in( a was with my husband). AT 2 O'CLOCK IN THE MORNING SOMEONE WAS STAYING RIGHT INFROT OF OUR DOOR AND LEFT WHEN MY DOG START BARKING. I will not stay there ever again. Mehr

The staff was very nice and friendly. The room itself was not as clean as I would have liked and the beds were a little hard but overall, for the price, it was a decent stay. I would go there again!

Very nice hotel, perfect if conducting business in downtown Ft. Lauderdale. They don't offer complimentary breakfast nor coffee in the morning, but my room was stocked with coffee, with additional packets at the front desk upon request. For me, most important when traveling on business is internet connectivity. The wireless strength in my room was excellent, […] with very good to excellent internet access. There is a small one time charge for wireless access, but well worth the $5.00 charge. Overall, I'd stay there again when traveling to Ft. Lauderdale. Mehr

Nice and clean, big bathroom, nice staff.

This hotel was very affordable. The room was clean but alittle on the smal side. Check in was very fast and smooth,. The office staff was great,so nice and polite.

The front desk staff were absolutely ridiculous and quite rude about considering a late check out for us for just an additional 1 hour (which most all hotels accommodate at least that, some will give you 2 hours). I have never seen anything like it. I had to work late until 6am, and they were rude to my wife about the request when she called, hanging […] up on her. She had to call back 3 times. We will never stay with an Extended Stay America again for just the way we were treated alone. I had asked prior to hotels.com if the accommodation could be met and it seemed to be no problem. But when we called about the late check out 10 minutes before 11pm, after struggling with very little sleep, they told us they would charge us for an extra day if we were not out of the room by 11pm sharp. So, neither my wife nor I could take a shower or even get properly ready for our long travel ahead that day. Not to mention, we had to scurry out of the hotel so fast that we forgot our cellphone charger. It was very upsetting that they couldn't even meet us half way... We even asked to speak with a manager or have corporate's # and they would not accommodate us with that either. They just lost our business as we travel quite a bit on a regular basis. Mehr

Great to stay at if you are looking for a small kitchen with a microwave and refrigerator. Good for people with small kids if you need to store cold food or heat up food. Not fancy but reasonable for the price.
