Hotel Les Dryades Golf & Spa - Pouligny-Notre-Dame

This is a lovely location in the centre of rural France. The hotel staff were very helpful and cheerful, spoke good english and made you feel welcome. Free WiFi, the spa facilities were good and enjoy the good massages. If you want to work out in the conditioning room it has 2 treadmills, 2 bikes, weights and 2 steppers (not working). The restaurant […] has a limited evening menu for a 2 week stay, although the food was very good. Breakfast, with plenty of choice and good value was served on the top floor with brilliant view. However the service was generally slow in the restaurant although very efficient for breaakfast. The golf course is good with a practice area although it had no tees for the mats. Hotel and facilities were excellent. Good views of golf course from the balcony. Only problem we had was that both myself and my husband play golf and we found it expensive. We thought as guests of the Hotel this should have been cheaper.

Positive aspects; hotel set in lovely countryside and great views from the room. Benefits from spa and indoor/outdoor pools. Rooms clean and stylish with air con. Unfortunately many downsides. To start, no-one speaks a word of english, we had to get by on limited french. Reception not welcoming and disinterested and unhelpful. Unable to book a table […] at the restaurant for our first night as fully booked. Got a table on second night: pleasant with great views and ok food, but VERY expensive with main courses alone between 20-30£ and entrees at 20£. Hotel provides list of what seemed to be many restaurants locally although we could find but one of them, which was a nice pizza place. My wife was unable to get any treatments in the spa as they were fully booked, so like restaurant, book in advance. The spa staff were unfriendly/unhelpful and had run out of towels, when we asked what they proposed we do, they told us we'd have to use our room towels by the pool. Unfortunate as there are no where near enough sun loungers for their guests and so you have to place your towels on the grass, and our towels then got muddy. The gym has barely functioning machines, no aircon and no water cooler. Not inviting! Breakfast a big let down, held on 6th floor, nice views but can't appreciate them as room is hotter than the sun! No air con and you have to get out asap. Breakfast was chaos, no visible staff and a very basic. Mehr

brilliant hotel and restaurant facilities - best I have found in Central France................Stakk are excelent as well recommend to anyone - and cost of room includes Breakfast which is also excelent............ cheers Mike W

Excellente impression. On regrettera cependant l'absence de journaux nationaux autres que Le Figaro. Vive la diversité!

gOLF ok Tennis : NUL sPA: bien mais carrelage pas anti derapant , donc risque de chute ce qui m'est arrive

Mooie ruime kamer met balcon en uitzicht op de golfbaan was prima. Een pluspunt vind ik een dubbele wastafel in de badkamer en een apart toilet.

Séjour d'une nuit très agréable avec une belle piscine et un jacuzzi à bonne temperature.

hôtel très agréable avec piscine et jacuzzi et vue panoramique ds la salle de restaurant du petit déjeuner. le seul bémol dans la chambre est le bruit trop important de la VMC avec un ronflement persistant.

Très bel établissement 4 étoiles dédié au Golf et au Spa dans un environnement calme et reposant. L'aspect général du bâtiment est quelque peu surprenant et mériterait un bon ravalement. Par contre, les chambres récemment rafraichies sont spacieuses et bien équipées, toutes ouvrant sur un balcon donnant sur le golf. La salle de bain, grande, est un […] peu "vieillotte" mais fonctionnelle. Accès gratuit à la salle de fitness, à la piscine (extérieure et intérieure) et au jacuzzi. Petit déjeuner de type buffet manquant singulièrement d'originalité et de diversité. Enfin on notera la présence d'un restaurant gastronomique, non testé, aux tarifs assez élevés ... bref du très bon (chambres, environnement et activités) mais également du moins bien (aspect général du bâtiment, pdj). Hôtel très agréable ( piscines, solarium, sauna, soins divers ) sis dans un joli golf bien entretenu, non loin du petit village de Pouligny Notre Dame. Un petit bémol quant au club-house, peu professionnel, au service très lent, très... incertain ?

Hotel parfait pour quelques jours de vacances .. restaurant trop cher pour rester longtemps et un peu isolé pour manger "dehors" petit dejeuner à volonté avec un bon rapport qualité prix piscine exterieure parfaite (eau à bonne température = 23)
