Great place to stay for the money. Easy check-in, great parking. The room was comfortable, and good-sized with a great view of the ocean. The beach is absolutely gorgeous! The pool was nice, but the hot tub was too hot. Breakfast was very good, but not a huge selection, however, there are breakfast buffet restaurants everywhere on the strip. It was fantastic. Once again we were impressed and very satisfied with another Marriot hotel, clean, comfortable and classy. The breakfast could have had better quality food, but over all we would go back in a heartbeat. Thanks

This was the perfect hotel for polar plunge weekend.

This was a great place to start a great honeymoon. We stayed here the night before flying out & it was great to overlook the ocean in the morning & have a spacious room to feel comfortable. The staff was great & had a bottle of champagne waiting for us. The price was great for what you get.

We enjoyed our stay very much, mostly due to the great service provided by the man at the desk at the time called "Jay". He went out of his way to make us comfortable and provide safe carpeting to one of our guests who was handicapped. He should be promoted! I would also commend " Clarice" who cleaned our room and again went overboard to make us feel […] welcome. The pool and breakfast were great and we would definitely come again. It gave us the feeling that we might have been in the largest city in Virginia but that we were welcomed as tho we were in a small, friendly town! Mehr

I was surprised to see an additional $20 charged to my account when I got home. Not happy.

Just lovely! Everyone was super friendly and parking, breakfast, and computer usage is all free! Great value for what I paid. No complaints.

Really enjoyed our stay here. Hotel is oceanfront on well-maintained grounds. The lobby and rooms are modern, clean and well-appointed. A group of 5 of us were in town for a concert at the VA Beach Amphitheater (only 10 miles away) and stayed in a 2 queen + sofabed suite. It was roomy enough that we didn't feel cramped and had a nice little wet bar […] in the room with a fridge and microwave. There was only one sink outside the bathroom, which was kinda hard for 5 people to use, but the rest of the bathroom amenities were fine. Free hot breakfast every day was awesome. Only complaints were 1) that they did not remake the sofa bed each day when they cleaned the room (even though we had someone sleeping on it each night) and 2) when we arrived late the first night - right at 11pm, and we had called ahead - they had run out of parking, shut their valet down, and we (and the many cars behind us) had to park on the parking garage ramps. 95% of our stay was perfect -- the hotel is in a great location, at a great price, and the room was lovely. However, there was one incident that prevents me from giving a positive review. One of the guests staying in our room arrived very late at night due to delays at the airport. When he arrived, he had considerable difficulty finding anywhere to […] park his car. (This is apparently very difficult in Virginia Beach after 2am.) He stepped inside the hotel to ask for assistance, and not only was the staff completely unhelpful and dismissive, they threatened to have his car towed away for simply leaving it in front of the lobby with his emergency lights on. He ended up having to park almost two miles away after searching for a spot for over an hour. Mehr

I genuinely enjoyed our stay here. The room was spacious enough to accomodate three adults and two teenage kids. It had two bathroom areas: the vanity sink area was separate from the bathing area (which also had a sink), which was great when all of us were busy trying to get ready. The hotel clerks sealed the deal and made our stay complete. They were always friendly even at 2am. They were knowledgeable with restaurants and places to visit not only at the beach but even other places as well. They were kind and patient and wished us many more years to our marriage. Also it would of been nice to leave the balcony door open but it didn't have a screen door to keep the mosquitoes out. it was right cross from the beach, the indoor pool finish late (11:00pm) , the food is very good.

I must say that I truly enjoyed the Queen/Queen suite I stayed in for 2 days. It was beautifully furnished and comfortable in every room! Well, I was there 4 nights and they didn't change the sheets,dust,vacuum until I asked. basically the housekeeping came in and exchanged towels. didn't replace any liquid toiletries until asked as well. extremely poor housekeeping. hotel management stated they are not to blame so much as they sub this service out and it is not done by hotel employees. very […] bad IMO. but, the breakfast is great and the outdoor pool is nice as well when the water warms up. beware the outdoor pool is not heated so spring is hit or miss in the outdoor pool. the indoor pool is so chlorinated it will burn your eyes and skin if in the pool area too long... ouch! I go to this area at least once a month and have stayed in numerous hotels. This one takes the cake. Beautiful lobby, friendly staff, clean rooms and a wonderful, large breakfast with numerous choices. Usually the free breakfasts offered are not the best but this one had everything my family wanted- scrambled and hard boiled eggs, cereal, sausage, muffins, […] fruit, fruit salad, biscuits, 3 different brands of yogurt (including different flavors for each), granola, biscuits, make your own waffles including teddy shaped waffles for the kids, huge variety of teas, ect. I was impressed. The pool was clean and the hot tub large. Towels were also provided at the pool which is a big plus. Mehr

THIS HOTEL WAS MAGNIFIENT!!! THE LAYOUT WAS BREATHTAKING! IT HAD A LIVING ROOM WIT A FLAT SCREEN TV & A SMALL KITCHENETTE! NICE COMFORTABLE BED WITH ANOTHER TV RIGHT IN FRONT OF THE BED & A BEAUTIFUL OCEANVIEW THAT U CAN SEE JUST ABOUT ANYWHERE IN THE SUITE!! IF YOUR ARE IN THE VA BEACH AREA YOU MUST STAY HERE!!

Hotel was located in a great section on the boardwalk. Because it was a suites hotel, we were surprised to see both beds beside each other rather than sectioned off. Nonetheless, it was still comfortable and nicely organized with everything we needed. The beds were very comfortable and the bedding was cozy. The staff, especially the front desk crew, […] were extremely knowledgeable and helpful everything we asked a question. They made us feel like a part of their family. Great experience, room had some minor issues, Rooms were clean and comfortable, the overall experience was above average and would recommend and stay again in the future.

We loved the location! Beachfront--we stayed on the 14th floor and the views were incredible! The elevators worked well-- so no real waiting to go up to such a high level floor. Rooms were wonderful. The staff very accomodating and the breakfast buffet was a bonus!

The room was very clean. Breakfast buffet was very good. Nice selection of food. Bed was comfortable, but the sitting room furniture was not so great. Very uncomfortable. But I would still give the place 5 stars. Very friendly staff.

I loved our short stay at the hotel. The people are very friendly and accommodating. Breakfast is varied and very good, make sure you eat before 8 AM during high season or you will be stuck in line and without a table! The food at the outdoor pool was good, and the drinks even better. The hotel location is perfect. Would recommend it.

This hotel was much nicer than I expected. The layout of the two-room suite was very nice. I really like the vibrant colors on the walls. The continental breakfast was very good and the hotel stalff was very friendly.

this hotel is the best hotel & better than the other hotels that me & my family have stay at im hoping to go back to this nice hotel soon i hope alot of people will come to this nice hotel to see for their self me & my family stayed oct.30 to nov.1,2009

the hotel was prefect the staff was very nice to me & my family the only thing i saw that need improvement was the sliding glass door to look out at the ocean its very great for people that dont smoke cause its a non smoking hotel suite

This was the best family hotel on the strip. I thought at first that the price was a little steep compared to the other hotels on the strip but the rooms were huge and very accomodating for a large family. We had a lot of fun. The pool area is amazing and the food was superb. The breakfast buffet in the mornings was the largest I have ever seen at a […] hotel. Everything was great and the staff was very friendly and made you feel right at home. It is right on the beach which is another huge plus while also restaurants and attractions were within walking distance. If you have the money though we believe the hotel food was much better than the fast food restaurants available on the strip. But subway is right across the street for a good lunch alternative. The decor of the room was outstanding. Roomy and great location. the pools were nice and the Beach cafe staff was very friendly.

This hotel was beautiful. Wonderful view of the ocean from balcony. The indoor and outdoor pools were a hit with the kids and the breakfast was great!
