Stilgemäßes Art-Deco-Hotel für einen Aufenthalt mitten drin in Miami Beach. Sehr schönes Ambiente in der Lobby. Zwar ist das Personal viel Kommen und Gehen von Gästen gewöhnt, trotzdem noch positive, freundliche Routine.

In dieser Preiskategorie sicher eines der besten Hotels. Saubere und moderne Zimmer. Gutes Frühstück, sehr nettes Personal. Einzig negativ ist die Poolanlage. Mobiliar verbraucht und lädt nicht zum planschen ein. Pool ist auch sehr klein. Habe keine Gäste gesehen die sich dort aufgehalten haben. Aber ansonst sehr zu empfehlen da in kurzer entfernung(3min. Fußweg) Supermärkte, Restaurants und andere Geschäfte vorhanden. Von 6 Hotels in dieser Preisklasse die wir in Florida besuchtt haben, eindeutig das beste Hotel.

Hervorragende Lage ein Block vom Ocean Drive und dem wunderbaren Strand entfernt. Äußerst freundlicher Service. Die Standardzimmer sind klein aber sehr zweckmäßig und nett im Art Deco Stil eingerichtet. Das Hotel verfügt über einen Pool auf der Dachterrasse. Es werden kostenlos Liegen und Handtücher am Strand zur Verfügung gestellt. Sehr zu empfehlen für Gäste die direkt in der Nähe des Art Deco Viertels übernachten möchten.

Aufenthalt war sehr angenehm. Allerdings war die Klimaanlage sehr kalt eingestellt.Man hat sofort gefroren wenn man das Zimmer verlassen hat. Ansonsten schöne grosse Zimmer mit Wohn - und Schlafbereich. Sehr gute Lage direkt am Strand und auch der Oceandrive ist nur 3 Automin. entfernt. In der direkten Umgebung wird gerade ein Hotel komplett saniert. Personal sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit.
Für zusätzliche Personen können Gebühren anfallen, die abhängig von den Bestimmungen des Hotels variieren können.

Alle Hotels in Fort Lauderdale ansehenHatten Nichtraucher Zimmer gebucht, als wir Abends um 19 uhr ankammen, bekamen wir ein Raucherzimmer, als wir daraufhin an der Rezeption, ein anderes Zimmer wollten hieß es: Hotels. com hätte ein Raucherzimmer reserviert, wir wollten das von der Rezeptionistin schriftlich bestätigt haben damit ich mich dann in Deutschland mit Hotels.com in Verbindung […] setzen konnte. Aber anscheinend ging der Computer gerade nicht. Ich vermute das sie keine Nichtraucherzimmer mehr hatte. Sie hat uns dann jemand zum Duft sprühen geschickt. Weis nicht was schlimmer war. Einziger Trost, wir mussten am nächsten Tag um 6 Uhr Morgens schon wieder am Cruiseport sein. Das ist auch das einzig positive an diesem Hotel gewesen, die Nähe zum Hafen. Mehr

air conditioning failed - could happen to anybody, had to happen to us. everything appears well maintained so we expect this was an unusual event. we just opened the windows and were fine. I'm sure if we had complained the hotel would have fixed it or moved us to another room. hotel convenient to large supermarkets Publix and Winn Dixie, across street […] from Starbucks, Pannera Bread, FedEx. walk or #40 bus to beach. hotel is near Port Everglades. coffee available from 5 a.m., laundry facilities are good. hotel is kept clean. "Not what I expected with decent reviews"
Let me start by saying that I work and stay in a lot of very high end hotels that I can't afford when I have to pay for them myself. Therefore, I don't write many reviews since I have gotten used to nicer rooms and my idea of a 5 score is different than it was before I got my current job. The lady at the front desk was beyond nice and polite. But from […] there, it went downhill. The room smelled like a dog stayed in there for a week and was bathed in the tub and allowed to jump on the beds. It was terrible. It was 1 am and I had driven for 14 hours, so I didn't ask for a new room. When I woke up, There were 4 tiny bugs crawling on the kitchen counter. I didn't see any in the beds which I immediately checked and I have heard bedbugs do not like hard wet surfaces so it may have been other bugs native to Florida. I looked up "pics of bedbugs" on the internet and they did look an awful lot like some of the ones I saw. I didn't have a microscope, so I will not say for sure that's what they were. I try to stay at hotels that have 3.5 or higher reviews. This hotel should have a 2.5 review based on my room and I would have picked a different hotel had that been the case. Mehr

"not recommended"
Convenient location but... room wasn't clean. Tried to do laundry prior to cruise. Washer broken and counter unable to help. Change would have been nice. Said she was not trained. Believe it is a transient home for recovering individuals.

"Don't waists your money"
Bad all the way Around. I felt like I was back in the 1970. The only good thing about this hotel was the laundry facility on site. The rest is old and for the price there is a lot better hotel out there. I won"the be returning for sure.

"Stayed there because of cruise port service"
Needed a place to stay due to cruising the next day. Shuttle service from airport only runs until 10:30 which we knew in advance. Unfortunately, we landed about 10:30 and not done until 11:00. Took a taxi which cost about $18 with tip. Very efficient and friendly check-in. The room had a double bed, was clean but quite dated and "blah" looking. But […] it was for only a short time. Coffee and muffins were provided in the morning. Was close to a couple of shopping malls which we were able to walk to and the area was just fine -- full of hotels... The shuttle service to the cruise port was great too. This place was certainly 'ok' for 1 night but wouldn't stay there for longer. Mehr

"Won't Stay"
Location was good but the rooms were disgusting ... bugs crawling on the countertops ... dirty coffee maker ... staff not very pleasant and unconcerned.

The room was clean. No daily maid service, no real breakfast, the bed was as hard as concrete, the ac couldn't keep up( is was only in the 70's ) , and you have to pay for the internet. Did I mention that the room was clean.

clean shortbterm accomidation 15 min ride to cruiseport they only do airport shuttle on fri-sun and it only starts at 7am so shuttle is a hit and miss experience taxi ride costs about 15-18 dollars

Great location but no service. I was here for business 3.5 months. I had to change my own sheets, take my trash out, take my used towels downstairs to exchange for fresh. Thought it would be a little better than that. And they charged me $200 for services.... Hmmmm

my stay at extended stay of america, 1450 17th st ft. lauderdale was good and quite. this hotel was clean and the staff was freindly; it was also near to the Broward general hospital, where i needed to be. the only problem I personally had with the hotel is house keeping services, or lack there off. I think that 6 days is too long to go without house […] keeping cleaning your room. I love the barbecue grill and the partio atmosphere. also I love that you are near the airport and the cruise port; the fact that you have a transportation service to these ports is great but only fridays thru saturdays is limited; What about people wanting to get to the airport during the week days? Aside from the hotel being in a safe and convenient neighborhood and being at least clean I would never stay here again. The bed was like sleeping on a plank of wood. We both tossed and turned all night. The airconditioning sputtered to keep the room cold and the following morning it was a fight to get hot water. Very close and easy to get to from the airport. The staff was very friendly and I was impressed with the room as I found it to be very clean and comfortable. The location is a big selling point. "Pretty Good Great Location"
The location is great very close to all Fort Lauderdale has to offer. Had two sperate rooms - the firsty room was clean and smelled fresh however the 2nd room not so much - has been smoked in and a musty wet smell - front desk very nice.
"No Frills, but a good place to lay your head"
The title says it all. No pool, no hot tub, there is a business center, and they charge by the day for wireless internet. But it was clean, had a kitchenette, was even stocked with cook ware and dishes. Full size refrigerator

"HORRIBLE NIGHTS SLEEP"
THE AIR CONDITIONER KEPT US UP ALL NIGHT. IT MAKES A LOUD NOISE EVERY TIME IT TURNS ON AND IT HAD AN INTERMITTENT BANGING. THE MATTRESS WAS SHABBY AND STAINED AND THE BED DID NOT FEEL STURDY. THE BEDDING WAS OLD AND FLIMSY AND CHEAP. A PRETTY GRUNGY PLACE OVERALL YUCK YUCK YUCK

The room was very dirty and smelled very bad. In the morning there was no hot water. When I called down to the front desk and complained and they said everybody must be taking a shower.

We were very disappointed that the shuttle from the airport to the hotel closed at 6 and our flight did not get in until later. We had to take a cab there.

"Nice hotel, great polite reception service!"
We arrived after 14 hrs journey from 2 planes, so were very happy to get into our room. Had air con, TV, fridge and GOOD Internet Connection for a cheap price. We were very happy, as it was close to shops and restaurants. I would recommend and go back again. Thanks

"Lots of noise"
We experienced a lot of door banging, talking and lots of disturbing noise in the hallway in the very early morning hours. I suspect they were the rooms with the "Privacy Please. Do not Disturbe" signs on the doors the next morning.
