"First Visit"
The hotel itself was fine but the dumb front desk clerk was a mess. He did not speak english and he was very rude. I will not be visiting this hotel again. There are other hotels right next to it so I would look into staying at one of those. Customer service should be number one and that is NOT the case with this hotel.

"Ok for the money"
Room was clean but not in the best shape. Baymont Inns are usually better than this one. Ok though.

"Vending Machine only Complaint"
At check in front desk was very friendly and Cute.. Room was clean and decent for the price that I paid. I would stay there again if needed. Only one thing wasnt up to par and that was the vending machine. Was craving candy bar so went to vending machine to get one and once I opened it... Candy bar looked like it had been in there since 1930.... It […] went straight to the trash... Other than that overall stay at this hotel was good enough for me and I'm royalty. "The Baymont Inn & Suites Lafayette - Beware"
Hotel was clean and closely resembled the pictures. We ignored some of the negative comments previously written. We should not have. Staff was not courteous. We were in a non smoking room surrounded by smoking rooms. We had to stuff our bath towels under and around the doors to keep the cigarette smoke out. We stayed during a soccer tournament and the […] staff would not control the other guests. Kids were jumping up and down in room above us and running down the hall. A group of people came in around 4:30 a.m. on Sunday morning screaming and cursing in the hall. Our beds were not made Saturday when we returned. We were not given additional toilet paper when they were to have made our room. No one ever seemed to be at the front desk. The location is very convenient to I-10 and Moore Park Soccer Complex but there are no decent restaurants in the vicinity. Mehr

"Hotel Accommodations"
The only issue I had with the hotel accommodations is: There was only one luggage cart available. I think there should have been at least two. Ifound this to be very inconvenient.
Very friendly staff. Clean and very comfortable room. I would definitely recommend this hotel!

Great place...great price...great time....look ppl...it is so easy to find things to complain about...its not a roach motel...its not sum stinky escort hangout....this is a great stay....TAKE IT FROM ME!

"Nice Hotel"
The hotel was very nice, the people were very personable. The only thing I would consider in the future is the surrounding neighborhood. It was not a place I would like to walk around in at night.
"Needs Improvement"
First impression was very good from the Front Desk clerk that checked us in. Very Helpful, Next impression was when we went out for the day though room would get cleaned and bed made but no. Next when taking a shower noticed mold growing on ceiling and the tape for the corner bead hanging down. Overall bed was comfortable

"Improvment"
The internet connection is not good. Every web page to browse needs to long in again. Continental breakfast was not expected and it is good.
"Very good for the money"
Room was clean, comfortable, and quiet. Air was fresh in the room but the hallway smelled STRONGLY of stale smoke. Not pleasant, but you can overlook that aspect when the room itself is good. Breakfast was somewhat limited but fine.

Malgré sa proximité de la vieille ville de Lafayette (où il y a assez peu de chose à visiter finalement...), cet hotel est très proche de la voie express (donc bruyant) sans compter que la piscine extérieur se trouve encore plus mal située : entre l'hotel et la route !
